Combine “randomly shifting chick” to “replicate randomly in uncontrolled environments”, and it gets even sexier. IMHO, of course.
Yeah, variety/spice and all that. Hard to get past that looking hot does not transfer to being hot though, with a specified temp of what was it minus something?
I keep getting offers to activate these “Assistants” on my phones, tablets, and laptops. I say “NO!!!!” and then delete every trace of the apps I can find.

There is no relationship between an individual’s level of paranoia and the likelihood that someone seeks to do them harm. So long as it is not to the level where it forces one to sit in a corner looking out for trouble, paranoia is actually survival positive. Nothing wrong with having a good situational awareness.

Alexa, Siri, Onstar, GPS – eeeewwww!
I only want a GPS telling some po-po where I am if I’m on a hike and a coyote is following me, looking for food. They’re everywhere/ Worse than ants.
Of course those entities exist only as low-level AI and direct portals to whomever/whatever NaomiJo refers when she says she only records what is specified. Who/what is it? And what does it really want?
Old Codger

I don’t even use the voice prompts on my GPS (didn’t do it even when I COULD hear it). I mount it where I can easily see it and glance at it every once in a while. Now if I could only get the display reversed left -to-right I could use it as a head-up-display like the one which displays speed, RPM and fuel state.
Oh, and, Miss D, a .22LR pistol is inexpensive, light and able to put paid to a coyote easily. Could also scare off a two-legged varment if needed. Remember, when seconds count (as in the coyote scenario), the police are just minutes away.

Granted, Old Codger, but if I shoot a coyote I still have to report it to DNR, so they can test it for rabies. I don’t know if that applies to the 2-legged coyotes, but – well…. 🙂

“.Gov has decided not to confront and repel the invaders,”
Apparently, some congress critter has announced that using the Armed Forces to protect the border violates “posse comitatus” since turning back the “caravan ” (ravening hoard? invading army?) is a law enforcement function and thus verboten to the Army. Anybody sanguine about whether a declared state of emergency would eliminate that restriction?
I’d like to ask the Progtards and Congress Critters, etc, to pick who in their family/friends they are willing to have killed by any number of the invaders. Who must die from an unknown pathogen that We as American Citizens do not have any type of immunity to fight against and keep US from getting sick or dying.
Delilah T
Oct 31 2018 at 5:44 pm
That’s incorrect. Posse Comitatus applies to the use of military force against US citizens.
Those marching north are invaders, and not, unless proven otherwise, US Citizens, and therefore it does not apply to them.
It’s more likely that since some are already breaking down and going back to Honduras and others are refusing job offers from the Mexican government, and/or asylum in Mexico’s southern states, the rest will come to an abrupt halt at the US border and that will be it.
Should be more of those interesting times for us to view.
