That top middle panel is a declaration against all the Lefties want to impose.

    And what’s worth fighting for.

In the spirit of “direct quotes” and of the hulabaloo over the Confederate Naval Ensign may I offer the following which was supposed to be a reply to a comment made yesterday? (I come late to the party most days.)
    ———-
I know that the Left has no real interest in the actual history of the time (1860’s) but for anyone who takes the time the truth is plain to read.

The war of Northern Aggression was about States Rights. (the Right to peacefully secede from the “voluntary” Union that was formed between thirteen equal sovereign States. The Right to reject burdensome taxes imposed by the Northern Corporate Middlemen States.

Slavery was brought into the mix as a sales meme (way before the term was invented) in order to “sell” the war as justified and legitimate. Lincoln was more concerned in “saving the Union” than in any outcome for the African peoples on this continent.
He even said so in no uncertain words.

( From a letter to Horace Greely in 1862 )

“I would save the Union. I would save it the shortest way under the Constitution. The sooner the national authority can be restored; the nearer the Union will be “the Union as it was.” If there be those who would not save the Union, unless they could at the same time save slavery, I do not agree with them. If there be those who would not save the Union unless they could at the same time destroy slavery, I do not agree with them. My paramount object in this struggle is to save the Union, and is not either to save or to destroy slavery. If I could save the Union without freeing any slave I would do it, and if I could save it by freeing all the slaves I would do it; and if I could save it by freeing some and leaving others alone I would also do that. What I do about slavery, and the colored race, I do because I believe it helps to save the Union; and what I forbear, I forbear because I do not believe it would help to save the Union. I shall do less whenever I shall believe what I am doing hurts the cause, and I shall do more whenever I shall believe doing more will help the cause. I shall try to correct errors when shown to be errors; and I shall adopt new views so fast as they shall appear to be true views.”

Does this make me a racist now that I have contradicted The Only One?
It is sad the loss of historical detail and plain History we are losing in the rush to rewrite history by the Marxist Academe and Fascist Commercial Media.
There is much more to learn. READ the actual words before they are removed from the historical archives completely.

Oh and just to be safe keep your powder dry. It seems the Progs have not learned anything from the lessons of history. It may be necessary to hit the “reset button” yet again here in Our Republic.
(The true rationale for the second amendment.)

Lincoln was a liar, a traitor and the worst president in history.

      Quote from Lincoln’s 1st Inaugural Address :

I have no purpose, directly or indirectly, to interfere with the institution of slavery in the States where it exists. I believe I have no lawful right to do so, and I have no inclination to do so….

Resolved, That the maintenance inviolate of the rights of the States, and especially the right of each State to order and control its own domestic institutions according to its own judgment exclusively, is essential to that balance of power on which the perfection and endurance of our political fabric depend; and we denounce the lawless invasion by armed force of the soil of any State or Territory, no matter what pretext, as among the gravest of crimes.

    capn,

I had not seen that letter before, ‘though I knew the gist that slavery, as I said yesterday, was but a rallying cry, or as you say a sales pitch, for the true aim of taking the money, power, and control of the states rebelling against that taking, in the name of “saving” the union.

What was most striking in the letter is what is left unsaid; that those ends would justify whatever means necessary, including the waging of genocidal war against his own people; ostensibly free Americans.

So…the divisive use of race, class, and geography to attain or retain money/power/control (redundancies then as now), no matter the cost or sacrifice. Sound familiar? Are we doomed to repeat that history? For those who ignore it or conceal it, the answer is yes.

No wonder they so badly want and need to disarm us…and no wonder we so badly need to redouble our stockpiles and means to resist and defeat those who would -and indeed want- to sacrifice us on the altar to themselves.

But will Obamacare pay for removal of Confederate Flag tattoos? They clearly affect quality of life. As liberal tolerance progresses, studies will show having one also shortens your life span.

However, since racism is now a mental disorder that impacts one’s employment possibilities, clearly racists should be protected by the Americans with Disabilities Act. Just having a Confederate Flag tattoo in a readily-visible location should automatically qualify you for government disability payments.

What reason could there be to deny this to racists? Do you think racism is a choice? Do you think they would choose the endless ostracism, the condemnation by intolerant Christians, the raw naked hatred they face from merely displaying a Confederate Pride pin? Who would choose that for themselves?

It is NOT A CHOICE! It’s not! It’s not! It’s not!

      kadaka,

Cute, but I don’t think we want to add racism to the long list of created maladies that you and I subsidize through 0Care, because the racism on display recently is entirely of the “reverse” variety, signified more by destroying and removing those flags than by wearing and displaying it.

And that list of RR’s is comprised not only of the crass baiters and manipulators top (puppet 0 and his puppeteers), their minions (msm, hollywood, academia) and soldiers (protestors, rioters, agitators)…but by institutions turning their back on and falsely indicting their customers and supporters, even their stockholders, just for the appearance of PC (I’m looking straight at you Wally, Amazon, eBay, even Nascar -anybody else read the statement by its CEO Bill France…it was dying anyway but now I will never watch another of its races-).

Let’s call a spade a spade…you want to call out the real racists? Look in the mirror you pathetic, self-righteous, hypocritical sacks of shit.

I Like the jist of this satire. It shows the ultimate absurdity of the Libtard’s entitlement / class division mentality. Where a conservative is willing to “go along”, so long as you aren’t picking his pocket or forcing him to go against his principles, a Libtard wants to force EVERYONE to be included in spite of themselves. . . which means that eventually a Libtard will be forced to include peoples he “hates”, i.e., a southener with a battle flag tattoo, because said Libtard thinks said southener is “ill” and needs to be taken care of (hehehehehehe – little doesxthe Libtard know, conquer from within).

“The Second Amendment is a doomsday provision, one designed for those exceptionally rare circumstances where all other rights have failed – where the government refuses to stand for reelection and silences those who protest; where courts have lost the courage to oppose, or can find no one to enforce their decrees. However improbable these contingencies may seem today, facing them unprepared is a mistake a free people get to make only once.” — Justice Alex Kozinski, Ninth Circuit Court, in his dissent to Silveira v. Lockyer
