      And.

      You’re fired.

      • Sol

i watched Fox’s video of his jet flight outta california until they stopped showing it – just in case he should have thrown himself out the door.

  • Ozymandias

Somehow, I don’t think she said “da”. I’d offer to help blot it out or something.

    • Vince

Blot and VERY carefully (read slowly) wash at least twice.

      • cfm56dash7

Blotting and washing must be done in situ.

    • Christopher Cole

Ozymandias: Look at the speech bubble trail, it points off-screed and thus it was ‘Tolly who said it and thus it is logical.

  • Interventor

Wonder if the first move in a full court press to lock her up. Trump was magnanimous in victory. But rewarded with disdain and vileness.

  • Tim Moyer

Da! A video of Naomi with gun oil is always welcome! Just finished cleaning my new Sig when I saw this (P229 Legion, awesome groups) ‘Toly is such the fun person with Naomi. Stealth with humor. BTW….. Bye, Director Comey, won’t miss ya ( back to search youtube “Toly channel, LOL) I don’t post often , but I read the comments and strip every day. So rocks my day!

    • Hardball

      I just got a 225a. It’s a perfect 9……

      • PaulS

        G20=Perfect 10 🙂

  • Deplorable B Woodman

I’ll have to come back later (dinner time – crock pot pulled pork leftovers), but I did want to say this in parting, “Don’t let the doorknob hit’cha where the Good Lord split’cha!”
This goes along with every time he opened his yap, you could just FEEL millions of people yelling “ASSHOLE!!”

  • KenH

Beware the Wrath of a Patient Man….

  • cb

Wonder if POTUS told Comey: You know I didn’t INTEND to fire you.

  • Pamela

Girl, you’re going to need some Dawn, and some Oxi to get that oil out of the material. I’d soak it first to make sure and air dry it after.
As to your skin, give ‘Toly a wash cloth and soap so he can get the spots you can’t reach 😉
Damn. Shower Sex in the offing….

    • Delilah T.

Dawn dish detergent is a great degreaser. So is Goop, which my cat groomer uses to degrease the cats’ coats before the wash.

Gun oil is similar to machine oil – don’t really want it all over you, period. Interferes with the enjoyment of a fine wine and cheese.

      • Pamela

It reminds me of changing the old gear oil in the rear end differential of a project car of mine. Had to throw those clothes away because it smelled so bad.

        • Deplorable B Woodman

Did you throw the clothes away BEFORE or AFTER you went back in the house? uuuummmmm……ain’t imagination wunnerful?

          • Pamela

They went in the trash at the back door.

        • John

Washed work clothes stained with old gear oil right before Mom did a load of sheets and pillow cases. I think Mom gave up on trying to get the smell out of the sheets and pillow cases and turned them into shop rags.

    • Hardball

I can’t get the stains out of my Carhart Tees. Gun oil, lunch, most anything stains permanently. Good thing I’m not fashion conscious.

      • Pamela

Take a 5 gallon bucket, add 1 cup OXI and 1 cup dawn then add hot water to disolve, stir with stainless steel spoon, add items and fill to brim. Stir and soak overnight. Dump and rinse, check staining, should be better and wash. Or you can consign them to the rag bag.

  • Jim G

Wayne is not president. He’s executive director. And more Naomi!

  • Greg Spangler

I know this is picky, but our beloved Wayne LaPierre is Executive vice President, not President. Allan Cars is President, which is a limited term position. Wayne is a guy I trust with my vote and my political contributions!

    • JTC

No, see this is a future dream.

      President Wayne LaPierre.

      As in POTUS 2024. 🙂

    • Actually, Wayne is indeed Executive Vice President, which is the high-paid CEO position. Alan Cors was President, but his 2-year term was up in Atlanta last weekend, and Pete Brownell is now President of the Board of Directors.
My dad was in line for that position back in 1997, but got in an argument with Wayne over money – the way they solicit it and the way they spend it – and Wayne’s folks brought in Chuck Heston to bump Dad out of the vice presidency. Painted Dad as some sort of radical extremist in the process. I’m not a fan of Wayne.

      • Browncoat

Thank you for your father’s views. I probably share a few of them myself.

      • Andy

Used to enjoy reading your dad’s report in the Shotgun News.
        Sad that he’s gone…
Good to see you here, though!

      • PaulS

Thanks for your dad’s efforts, I have a love/hate thing going with the NRA, and remain an annual member so I can withhold funding and tell them why when they call. Not that it does any good, but the feedback is recorded. Their lack of action on behalf of Katrina survivors cost them a couple years.

      • JTC

FFL for near forty years, NRA for the past nine, other than a short stretch early on. Never liked the constant pursuit of money which sometimes seemed very church-like and political.

But. Their activity during the great endarkenment and especially during this potus campaign buys them a lot of slack in my book. In a very real way, it is they (read us) who brung Trump to the dance. So far it’s been a good date, if not perfect. We shall see what the next few years brings on other important issues, but as to 2A? Rock solid I think, and that has importance and implications WAY beyond your daddy’s shotgun and deer rifle.

          • JTC

You’d think an “active shooter” policy and protocol would be a given in a major military installation, wouldn’t you?

Situational awareness and ability to defend from active threat is something every able-bodied citizen who chooses to should be at least basically trained in.

As for Trump, at this point that task is handled for him, though I don’t doubt that he has some abilities in that regard. To look at his sons’ interests and activities it is obvious where their convictions and loyalties lie.

What DT has done as a sitting President, for the first time since Reagan, is actively and openly support those rights for all free Americans, just as they supported him to be where he is, doing what he is.

  • The Valeyard

    Na na na na
    Na na na na
    Hey hey hey
    Goodbye…

  • JTC

How the hell did that tentative, mealy-mouthed, double-talking wuss ever make it to one of the highest LE posts in the land? Oh yeah, zero.

  • Deplorable B Woodman

As has been said above, MORE Naomi! Girl, you’d BETTER strip off that blouse and bra, and soak ’em quick, before that gun oil takes a permanent stain.

I’ll be waiting over here for your clothes so I can soap and soak them……

    • tomstockton

      …and then you’ll get to Naomi’s clothes!

  • WayneM

Sometimes I think ‘Toly ain’t the sharpest tool in the shed…

    • Pamela

That tool works better when nicely rounded….

    • tomstockton

Maybe not, but I love how Chris pens ‘Toly’s actions and words — sometimes there is great depth and understanding, and sometimes there is an “out of the mouth of babes” vibe. I think Anatoly is my favorite male character in the strip, just a hair ahead of Damon and Zed.

My least favorite characters? All the toadies and slime that Chris chooses to shine a light on… plenty of those types around, eh?

      Regards,
      Tom Stockton

      • Bill G

‘Toly often portrays the attributes of The Wise Fool.

        • Peregrine John

One of my favorite Russians, ever. Nicely done as always, Chris.

      • WayneM

Good points, all. My favourite male character passed but Zed is following his father’s footsteps in a way that would make Wade proud.

  • Delilah T.

Babushka? Grandma? Naomi? (Shakes head and giggles.)

    • Browncoat

      IKR?

    • Delilah T.

Babushka is ‘granny’. Refers to the scarf tied under the chin.

‘Mamushka’ is ‘mommy’. Refers to the nesting dolls toy.

      • Steve

I thought the nesting dolls were “matryoshka”?

  • I’d love to help Naomi with those oil stains, but it probably wouldn’t be safe to offer.

  • Halley

“…the most breathtaking fix in American history” – David Horowitz, on Comey’s dripping-with-criminality Free Pass for Sir Edmund Hillary. It has been a complete mystery why PDT has kept Comey in place for so long, given all the brazen corruption and collusion with the Democrats. But perhaps PDT needed to find out something in the process…

    • Delilah T.

…try to find a money trail somewhere.

      • Pamela

Money and Sex will bring about the downfall of anyone no matter how you try to define the usage of a word or act.

    “Hommina! Hommina! Hommina!”

  • Paladin

I would like to see someone who was an actual “Special Agent” in the FBI appointed to the Director’s chair …. Dana Suclly? And a redhead to boot!

    • Old Codger

You would not BELIEVE “Agent Scully” in the new Starz original series “American Gods”. She looks AMAZING!

  • Paladin

Rudolph William Louis “Rudy” Giuliani … now there’s a thought!

    • Andy

      Trey Gowdy?

      • John

If we went for Trey we would need to repeal the federal anti-drug legislation just to make room for the new prisoner influx.

  • Bill G

Sam may have had a great sleep, but I imagine a lot of people did not, as they wonder who will replace Comey and what is mandate from Trump will be.

  • Delilah T.

I don’t normally wish ill will toward anyone, but… on the other hand, Karma is the harshest mistress possible.
What you do comes back to you… sometimes she bites. Greed killed Midas’s daughter and left him starving, remember?

    • Pamela

I like payback is a bitch and then Karma went to work.

    • John D. Egbert

As the Wicans put it: What you do comes back to you three times over; if done with evil intent, thrice three. Best incentive I can think of for doing the right thing . . .

  • Mort

Sean Spicer is gonna need a drink or something, before
    the next WH press conference.

It was about damn time. The effingBI may finally get a smidgen of respectability back. It spread its wings at Ruby Ridge and went out the window in Waco. Other than the next Scotus pick this maybe the most important one he makes.

The thing that is missed, is with the delivery of that letter, old Bill and Cankles collectively crapped their depends. Credibility comes back if they levy charges and prosecute those two. They could have gone quietly into the night but chose a path wrought with peril.

The Big D should hold an address to the nation on Thursday night specifically outlining his administrations adherence to the rule of law, singling out any nefarious activities, willingness to prosecute any and all to the full extent and then announce his FBI selection. Don’t name anyone specifically, let the MSM put all the names forward themselves. They will take the speech as a direct attack on liberal democrats and spin like a Kansas tornado.

    Spin
Toto, I don’t think we are in Kansas anymore.
    War Damn Screaming Eagle

    • JTC

“let the MSM put all the names forward…”

      There will be only two:

      Trump!

      Putin!

  • JIMV

    “They see them here
    They see them there
    Those democrats see Russians everywhere
    Are they with Trump
    Hiding under our beds
    Commies, Russians, damn those Reds”

    The scarlet trumpernal?

  • NotYetInACamp

    DA! Is good!

  • sock_rat_eez

Dawn is good, I also like a little TSP or washing soda in the soak.

“Other than the next Scotus pick this maybe the most important one he makes.”
    Spot-on.
Are we a country of laws, or not ?
Important to get this clarified as The Rectification Of Names goes forward.
