The Instapundit theory of a struggle between the urban blacks, championed by Obama, and the gentry white liberals, basically under the rest of the old white Democratic party leadership. The problem is that Obama himself was despised by many of the local blacks in Chicago as an outsider sent by rich whites like Penny Pritzker and Bill Ayers to take power from the local blacks such as Bobby Rush and Jesse Jackson.
The white liberal press lead by the NYT never figured that out.
Perhaps fortunately for his Illinois district, Obama did not turn out to be an oreo candidate. He was simply a backbencher of little competency using his office as a stepping stone to the Senate and eventually the Presidency.

Look at it this way — at least we’re not talking about Ebola or ObamaCare any more. And very little about immigration or the Constitution. So, mission very nicely accomplished.
Whoever/whatever sinister puppeteer pulls Bobo’s strings, don’t think for a moment that the succession of compensated voting blocs is not a carefully orchestrated plan for the succession of CEO. You think Barry’s a bitch? Wait for Hills. But their Board of Directors is thinking global.
If I may suggest a different title for the strip:
