I’ll ask the butt man. Do those dem blue birds in panel 5 look like there are butt cheeks (asses) being drawn? I’ll leave it at that. (Ignore Rorschach standing behind the one way mirror)

So is a little lesson in birdism due here? In Argentina the shiny cowbird lays its eggs in the nest of the chalk-browed mockingbird. The mockingbird does not remove the alien eggs, even if its own eggs have been punctured by the cowbird, because the baby bird in the mockingbird’s egg is quite likely to survive.

Not Darwinian, just pragmatic, because the mockingbird chick is more likely to survive if there are many cowbird eggs, which are just as likely to be punctured by their stupid parents as the mockingbird eggs.

The analogy in society is that the blue dumbobirds don’t know how to raise their kids to be smart and self-sufficient, so theyd be better off with red smarterbirds as parents.

That’s your biology lesson for today.

I figure between abortion, homosexual marriage, and childless marriages, the dems will self destruct in 50 years…..problem is, will the country survive that long….

    • April 1, 2017 at 10:18 pm

And what happens when the party can’t support its own weight any more? Will it implode like a black hole? Or will it turn into a white dwarf (pun intended) that spins so fast it sounds like a beacon in space?

When I’m 100, these illiterates coming out of college will be unable to support themselves, especially when robotics replace them.

I guess that was the plan all along, wasn’t it? A ‘Brave New World’ full of idiots to sweep floors and take out the trash. I keep thinking that ‘Escape From L.A.’ and ‘Soylent Green’ were not as weird as they seem.

From ‘Hunger Games’, the territory of Panem? It’s Latin for ‘bread’.

      Curiiouser and curiouser, said Alice.

In real life cowbirds do the same thing to the nests of the golden cheek warbler The solution that the Fish and Wildlife Service use is to kill the cow birds so that the golden cheek warbler can thrive.

    Screwers and screwees.
They want to be the screwers.
Screwers will destroy all ans they never really produce.

Sometimes parasites can screw the host system for a long time.
Or, the parasites eventually kill the system they are the parasite in.

The host has to decide what to do in order to survive. Sometimes the host has no clue in so many ways.
As the TV says “Believe me.”

    Normalcy bias.

It is normal to feed the middle class worms to the screwer and screwee system.
Are there enough middle class worms to survive after predation by the system. Will the end of middle class worms end the system.

    Are we all Russians now?
    Are we all Chinese now?

Why have I never gotten my check or bank draft or pallet of hundred dollar and 500 Euro bills?

Do I (we) have to evolve enough to rid us of this system while keeping our hands where they are supposed to be that makes so many of us happy?

More devolution than evolution I think. But Sam’s parable omits pertinent third-bird involvement and possibilities so I’ll help give the kiddies some hope:

The blackbirds slyly teach and tell those blue ones don’t be stupid, leave the nesting and nurturing to the reds. Quite right that the reds stupidly agreed, and have been using up all the worms to try and feed all the begging screaming hatchlings, but just before the last story panel is reached they realize the blues have been conditioned to be fed by them not just as babies but forever, and see that their own are being starved, and worse, the rich worm hunting grounds are disappearing.

So they begin to push those blue eggs out of the nest to fend -or not- for themselves. The blues don’t like this one bit and enlist their blackbird overlords to attack and do battle with the blues in an all out avian war, as the blacks know they can’t survive without burgeoning blues and the blues can’t or don’t want to have to find their own worms and feed all those bothersome screaming chicks themselves.

    To be continued…

And it’s a great rule; others would do well to emulate it.

Still, no doubt there are those here who would be willing to help with an unexpected calamity if needed; even disciplined business can experience that and should not be afraid to call on their sources of support when justified.

And one important correction…time IS money for all businesses, if anything even more so for ones whose only product is intellectual property.
