Pretty much every leader has used ‘body doubles’ at one time or another, much the same way as cinema uses stunt doubles for actors. They’re usually only there for fleeting glimpses at a distance or to make people think the actual is somewhere they aren’t.
For some uses, the need for exact height or other characteristics isn’t that precise, but for others they need to be spot on, particularly if there’s a chance pictures will be taken, even by telephoto lenses.
Everybody has them, nobody admits it openly, that would be stupid from a security standpoint, but Trump might well present his and/or his predecessors’ with a public award of some kind once he’s retired from office just to show that others do it too…he might not though, TDS runs deep enough to put them in danger out of spite.
