Did the repo end up grabbing the chopper or any of the other toys?

Awwww….. I really liked the idea of the Harley guy and Skye together. Seems like he would be her type.

You never know. I have a very strong feeling we have not seen the last of Skye.

    • February 12, 2016 at 2:12 am

I think Travias is going to be a solid asset to the DD.

      • February 12, 2016 at 2:12 am

        Travis. Chris, edit function?

“Enough with the Rocky thing, ‘k?”
I can just see Sly Stallone (piss be upon him-ptui!) at the top of the stairs.

    “One more round.”
Your place, or mine? Oh, same place.

The DD will be much better now with adults (even the children) living there.
But I still do wish that Hugo and Eva (I hope I remembered their names correctly) could have been left in Texas.

Getting rid of Skye and her kids is the whole ten rounds, the big enchilada, the whole nine yards.

Does this mean that Jan and Damon will be staying at the Double D and not following Don P to Nippon? Yay!

Now let’s see … Naomi has a wee li’l bairn which will need looking after and Jan has two toddlers (one of which will soon be running around making his father proud and his mother a nervous wreck … maybe) plus there are Sam’s two “big girls”. (Hey I’m a GranPa I know how to talk around the wee folk)

That leaves two of the ladies for “hash slinging” while one sits the kinder.
This could work BUT what about the Wednesday afternoon day-off pond scene? Ahem Chris ? Oh Chris ??

  • February 12, 2016 at 1:47 am

    Yo, that is NOT Adrian.

  • February 12, 2016 at 2:10 am

And we do know what happens in that last round with Rocky. Every time.

    • February 12, 2016 at 2:11 am

And, Sam is one each serious organizing female. It will work.

She needs one. Preferably one who spanks regularly.

        B Woodman

Yes, spanks all THREE of the children.

  • February 12, 2016 at 6:41 am

What about the helicopter and the piloting?

    • February 12, 2016 at 6:56 am
      Bill G

The ‘copter is property of the ranch, it pre-dates all the DD activity.

Yup, Skye has a nanny. Lib’s just like spending others money for their own use. Plus, do you think her Mom fully trust her fo take care of her kids???

  • February 12, 2016 at 8:53 am

The smart money is on Zed:

There once was a double D barn
Its history made quite a yarn.
    Dirty deals took its stuff
    But it’s back sure enough
Serving smoked ribs and chili con carne.

Not my best effort, but I’m sleep deprived.

    Hey Chris

I encourage you to write a book about your adventures with DBD, kind of a “behind the scenes” look at a modern RP cartoonists that promulgates reality in a format that dumbed-down Americans can understand.

How you decide on your storylines would really be interesting, inasmuch as I’ve wondered how you decide on the twists and turns to the plot, fitting in the lives of the characters.

Starting out with Sam, Zed, Jan and Damon all working together and following their lives has been an interesting contrast in comparing how the real economy in the US is actually performing. The personalities of the characters and their development has been interesting to watch. Of course, watching you develop as an artist has also been very interesting.

The mention at one point of your adventures with Google and your decision to go with reader funding rather than adverts controlled by Google has got to be an interesting story and I’m sure there are some other interesting elements of the backstory as well.

In reading some of the older panels, I was struck by how all the drama generated by the “movers and shakers” at the time amounted to nothing more than a fart in a whirlwind and many of the names are now no longer even recognizable. It’s almost like reading a pictorial diary.

Anyway, I truly enjoy your work and I encourage you to give some serious thought to writing a book about it for those of us who not only enjoy your cartoon but also enjoy the pleasure of books.

    • February 12, 2016 at 11:05 am

Dude is already writing his book, with all the backstory and current events you mention, page by page, and Day by Day, as it were. 😉

Plus, some extraneous project like that might interfere with the production and enjoyment of this right here.
