From the web: Law-abiding citizens who can legally possess a firearm are allowed to carry it, and Democrats are terrified of that. Maybe they think you’re going to shoot them?
What are they doing that would make them think such a thing?

I believe that in large part, they know that they can’t be trusted with guns, and therefore don’t understand that normal people can be.

They believe that the only guns should be those in the hands of people who take orders from them. That includes the criminals who supply their party drugs.

The Prime Order of the Empire is “Terror must be maintained”. It only works if the populace they wish to terrorize is defenseless.

The Rittenhouse case frightened them more than most people realize. Basically, one adolescent with a legal firearm brought a planned “mob action” to a screeching halt. “Ideology” powered by drug-fueled adrenalin proved to be no match for ballistics.

As John Ross observed, imagine how things in Germany nine decades would have been different if a number of Jewish Reichswehr veterans of the Great War had broken out their Gewehr 98s when the Brownshirts showed up at their doors.

Abortion, gay/trans, gun control … there’s a long list of issues the left has been pushing in increments. All the while deriding anyone who spoke of increments or slippery slopes. And now they’re finding that they don’t like the ride on their own slippery slope, as normal people push back against their ‘Sacred Ground’ of Very Late Term Abortions and, to use an old phrase, “The rest of the story.”

This probably won’t effect most folks here but I was wondering how the new gun law would effect Florida. Ours is pretty good but it must have some effect. I own 3 pistols and can remember when we had open carry without a license back in the 90’s. Had a canceled permit but let it lapse due to cost of renewal.

I’m in WA State and July 1 began a new set of unconstitutional gun laws (proven that prior to the SCOTUS ruling) unfortunately there really isn’t a “new law”, but if the NRA ILA will get busy, they should be able to get rid of 90%+ of existing laws restricting firearms ownership and ability to carry. I doubt we’ll make it back to the historical precedent of dueling, but even that seems to be possible with the new “test”. 😉

Steve, it is a common misconception that Fla statute had codified open-carry prior to concealed carry permission slips (aka registration, which of course it is). It didn’t but simply did not make it specifically illegal which is what happened in the poorly arranged “deal” to get CC, and it was hardly ever done, because why? Going to Constitutional Carry eliminates and specifically allows both, without any requirements except following the existing provisions of criminal law…which btw some states’ constitutional carry laws do not adhere to and do have a qualification requirement.

Here in Tennessee, we now have constitutional carry…the state will still issue a Carry Permit (it has always been open or concealed) upon request to maintain reciprocity.

Further I can remember (and used) when California had a “no license to open carry” in the Wild West 50’s…can you imagine? But that was also when California was the National Leader….and the closet was still closed and private.

He was brilliant, educated in the US (Harvard IIRC), and loyal to his country in spite of the fact that he knew Japan was doomed in a war with the US.
We also get two other such “quotes” from him.
“I will run wild in the Pacific for six months but after that I can promise nothing.”
The attack on Pearl Harbor happened on December 7 1941 and the Battle of Midway commenced on June 6 1942.

He studied at Harvard between 1919 and 1921. He was also posted as a naval attache in Washington, DC. He spoke fluent English. Because of his time in the US he had a better understanding of the US and Americans than most in the Japanese military. It was this understanding that caused him to utter his “Sleeping Giant” statement after the attack on Pearl Harbor did not meet its objectives.

I use Firefox and removed google as a search engine and have never seen any warnings, Firefox gives a lot on other sites usually when their ‘certificate’ hasn’t reset fast enough but it never blocks them completely to the point where I can’t go there anyway.

‘exploder’ only comes with windoze so you can use it long enough to download a real browser.
You can’t delete it entirely once you have though so I’m considering going back to Linux just for that.
The scary part is that with all the ‘woke’ groups trying to control everything and Linux being updateable pretty much daily, I can’t help but wonder if they’ll get their grubby little fingers into that too. We know gates is one of the ‘new order elite’, but what about the ones rewriting other systems ? How long before they decide Ubuntu or Redhat or another flavour of Linux isn’t ‘woke’ enough for them ?

Little l libertarian is the default state of free men, same as independent. It’s when you start capitalizing everything that the trouble starts, D’s, R’s, I’s and L’s alike are just money/power machines.

However the default designation of signatories to the Constitutional Republic of America (CRA) will be ConCon or simply CC, Constitutional Conservative, capitalized by honor and tradition and respect.

Me, I’m an i right now, not to be confused with an I…but immediately after the mid-term “election” if it goes as feared and expected, I will scream for independence from the servitude of the disunited states, the immediate formation of the CRA, and will forever after that be known as JTC, CC.

I called it on March 27, 2020. The popular bill to spend $2 trillion dollars and shut down our economy was “the biggest mistake in history.” That bill and subsequent bills that spent another $4 trillion are the reasons we now have shortages and inflation.

Some of the seeds carefully planted in 1913 are coming to fruition. People are always trying to amass their own power.
Will the toxic crop be forced to wither, or will the new liberal order and the evil contained solidify the new feudalism with its new royalty, servants, and fiefdoms?
Presidents Eisenhower and Kennedy have both given speeches concerning these secret planners.
So many “leaders” across the word follow the new liberal order, or are ensnared by it unwittingly or without the “leaders” knowing they are ensnared. .
It is a new colonization of the world. We are the ‘Indians” now in the new Indian Country. They must be stopped.
Stop the New Liberal Colonization Order. I think that is a good idea. A plan would be better.

This pretty much sums it all up…

The site isn’t always political but enough where it counts…there’s some pretty good hunting stories too.

    https://benandbawbsblog.blogspot.com/

    Dateline: Washington, D.C.

Just weeks away from operational testing, the new joint Lockheed-Grumman F-42 X-Wing Multi-role Strike Fighter and Death Star Destroyer project has been cancelled entirely. At the Whitehouse briefing room, President Joe Biden handed out pamphlets, along with brightly colored Crayons, to assembled members of the press.

The leaflets explained, in language the president is incapable of, that the F-42 project was cancelled so that funding earmarked for the fighter’s development could be diverted to a Federal contract to erect a 1,200-foot statue of, and shrine dedicated to, the late George Floyd in the rubble of downtown Minneapolis.

A Fox News reporter asked the President if such a move was wise in light of growing tensions over Russian military moves into the Ukraine and Kazakhstan.

President Biden responded, “Mglarble dub wubby glom blub!”

Presidential aides alertly removed the Crayons from the President’s mouth and asked the reporter to re-phrase the question, using fewer and smaller words.

    The reporter then inquired, “What…about…Putin?”

“Putin good!” President Biden answered. “Me like Putin! Tapioca, chocolate, butterscotch. Mmmm. Nummy Putin!”

As aides quickly pushed the President off stage, the remainder of the media present responded swiftly to the crisis. They immediately engaged Whitehouse Press Secretary Jen Psaki, clad in her favorite pink Russian ushanka hat replete with hammer and sickle, with crucial inquiries for clarification.

CNN: “Even though the allegations came from an anonymous Internet blogger who said she received the information from a ‘Magic Eightball’ and her physic parakeet, shouldn’t the FBI investigate this latest rumor that in a 2007 trip to Russia Donald Trump poisoned two baby polar bears with Trump-brand Vodka in a Moscow hotel suite?”

Psaki responded, “A complete and utter lack of evidence and credibility is no reason not to launch and in-depth investigation and try to keep this story in the news for as long as possible.”

At this point, a drooling President Biden rushed back out onto the stage, shrieking, “And chocolate-vanilla! And tropical-mango! Oh nummy Putin!”

Shocked and dismayed by this sudden turn of events, several correspondents vowed to do a multi-part story to remind the American public about the possibility of Ronald Reagan having had signs of dementia during his second term as president, and how this may have caused the present unrest in the Ukraine.

Stayed tuned to your local network news affiliate to be spoon-fed the latest “news”, properly formatted for you to understand by a professional journalistic filter.
