Props to Skye, that’s one for her.

An easy one too, since we deplorables are too nice and let our enemies use our better nature against us.

To paraphrase Kipling, it is long past time for the deplorables to begin to hate.

    • GWB

      Yep, point to Skye.

    • Old Codger

To paraphrase Kipling, it is long past time for the deplorables to begin to hate.

Nope. Never a time to hate. Hatred is corrosive and only harms the hater without affecting the object in any way. Plus it clouds the mind. Better to be aware of and acknowledge the the opponent’s tactics so as to expect and be better able to counter them. At present, I do not see a way to defeat the prog-MSM-academia axis. They completely control the narrative. Their tendrils in the public education system even allows them to indoctrinate our young. It is up to us to raise our children properly and make sure they learn the values which heretofore have made our country great.

      • Too Tall

The paraphrase was from Rudyard Kipling’s 1917 poem “The Beginnings” regarding British animosity towards the Germans during World War I.

The last line of each stanza ends with “…the English began to hate.”

We are long past the point where we need a Winston Churchill to weaponize the English language for war against the libtards.

        Progs delinda est.

Ruh! Roh! Either, Skye has a nasty sense of humor, or she’s having a repressed/recovered memory moment. Careful there girl, your sister loves you, but if its her and her family you’re threatening, if the latter.

  • Calvin

Sounds like a German soldier who knew exactly what was going on…but did his “duty” anyway. I was just following orders…

    • JJ cooper

Not just a soldier, the whole—– country. I remember as a youngster hearing someone who had been there at the time saying he had heard a civilian remark as smoke rose,” They are burning Jews today.”

  • I’m thinking that was skilled sarcasm. The Red Pill is taking effect.

  • Stephanie Osborn

I think she was pulling a fast one on Sam, and that last comment balloon was pointing it out…

  • Shonkin

I’m going to have to wait for tomorrow and the next day to see where this is going.
Just last week Skye complained that Tucker had run away from her. But at that time she was attracted to him, not angry or afraid. WTF? Hmmm…

  • WayneM

Watching the Kavanaugh debacle and the swirling outage shitstorm, it’s amazing how many people who almost seemed sane previously have exposed their inner wackiness… Several pundits are speaking of this current chapter of the culture war as being a form of moral panic… shades of the Salem Witch Trials….

    • interventor

The hysterical manner of those demonstrating against Kavanaugh in the capitol sound like that of the female audience during the Salem witch trials.

      • Delilah T

Everything went fine at Salem until the girls accused the Governor’s wife of witchcraft. He then ordered an end to it.
20 people and 2 dogs were executed in the hysteria.
Sometimes, things have to play themselves out.

  • Too Tall

Chris, Thank you, the Don swag arrived today. A great way to start the week.

  • Shonkin

Oh. Oohh! I’m slow on the uptake, but I catch on eventually.
    Good one, Skye!

    • NotYetInACamp

Skye batted that “Wake. Up.” one right back into the same court that also first started using the word “Resist.”
We all so do hope it is biting sarcasm developed in her red pilling, rather than a Red Dawn awakening of the inner Red Guard, Stalinista Political Commissar, Maoist, that inhabits so many of her, hopefully, former, ilk.

  • Halley

    Shades of Friday?

  • Colleen

    I think it’s a nightmare. She’s having a real bad nightmare.

  • Bill G

Well done. And to Skye, too. She’s pointing out the nightmare that the left wants us in, and said “Wake. Up.”

  • eon

I suspect Skye will end up being capable of the same biting sarcasm as William F. Buckley. Or at least the irony of P.J. O’Rourke.

And there is nothing the left fears more than that sort of humiliation. It’s difficult to proclaim yourself Emperor of the Universe when somebody is pointing out that you’re bare-ass nekkid.

    clear ether

    eon

    • GWB

At least few of us would mind seeing Skye bare-ass nekkid.
Not so much those who would be Emperor.

      • interventor

        Well depicted in the swag.

    • interventor

Miss Buckley, his Baroque English, plus sarcasm, was so sharp his opponents often bled without realizing they were cut. English was Buckley’s second language. His American parents raised him in Mexico when they worked in the oil industry.

      • Unca Walt

So true. I remember one exchange where a reporter was being obtuse, and said to Buckley:

        “I don’t understand, I…”

Buckley interrupted with that low, penetrating voice:

“Yes, I noticed you have that difficulty.

    • Will C

      Yep

  • Paladin

You’ve controlled your fear…Now Release You ANGER!

  • Browncoat

    Or Tucker… Carson?

    • Browncoat

      Carlson… dammit!

      • Too Tall

Tucker, the local Sheriff and Zed’s best friend since childhood.

Tucker may have had an initial romantic attraction to Skye, but Skye’s behavior, including a drunk and disorderly arrest, turned him off.

  • Delilah T

Nice one, Skye, you clever little slut, you. Nice one.

I can make up T-I-H-S, too. It is called fiction. It sells romance novels by the carload.

This is an interesting misdirection in the story.

    • Delilah T

I almost forgot: I would certainly favor re-education camps… for the antifas, the pussyhatters, the libretards, and the entire population of politicians on the left. Also, have them neutered and spayed, just like we do cats, horses and dogs… and goats…. and cattle.
It’s a good idea to spook the complacent, occasionally, too.
Have a good day. It’s raining here, and I have to go foraging.

      • Old Codger

Sorry, Miss Delilah but re-education camps would not work on the groups you mentioned. You’d have more success operating a school for preparing swine to perform grand opera – or BALLET! I can see the posters now. Coming soon! The all pig cast performing their famous “Swine Lake”! 😉

        • Delilah T

You could be right, Old Codger. They’re already doing drugs so that wouldn’t work well… but what about hunger? Worked on Ukrainians and Cambodians and Chinese and North Koreans….

There is also something called aversion therapy. You get zapped every time you give an incorrect answer.

      • Fox2!

And chipped. Just like we do cats, horses, and dogs….

      • Deplorable B Woodman

If you’re going to re-educate, make sure it’s the same for everyone, civics that should have been taught in grade school: the Constitution, the BoR, the Declaration of Independence, the Federalist papers, why the Founding Fathers settled on the 3/5ths of a person rule. The basics.

  • SteveH

The human brain often cannot tell the difference between the memory of an actual event and a vividly imagined one.

    • John

That’s the essence of False Memory, something that is far more common than anyone will admit. I found it particularly ironic that a psychologist, of all people, would not let herself consider her own memories subject to this, in spite of sworn testimony to the contrary.
Of course I also marvel at what seems to be an epidemic of Trump Derangement Syndrome in that profession.

  • Tom Stockton

I thought Tucker was interested in the FBI agent, Suzy Q. I sure hope Skye is not right in her accusations of Tucker, because I had him pinned as one of the good guys, not as an undercover Leftist… The Double-D Ranch needs some good guys, as backups when Zed and Damon aren’t available (or otherwise occupied) when the doo-doo hits the fan — although it’s been proven that the other characters, esp. Sam and Naomi, can stand-up for themselves.

Anyway… I get plenty of the “he said, she said” stuff in the regular media — would rather not see it here as well. Just MY personal preference. (The Missus watched FIVE hours of it on her iPhone the other evening, and I was about ready to pick up the laptop, get off the comfy couch, and head for the higher ground.) I’d rather see the cast at the ol’ swimmin’ hole, with Tabasco and the Dawgs standing guard.

Have a great day, Chris and everybody else!

    Regards,
    Tom Stockton

    • WayneM

Tucker is one of the good’uns, Tom. Skye was making a satirical comparison between Tucker and Kavanaugh.

    • JSStryker

Suzy Q is paired up with Travis.

  • Spin Drift

    Chris:

    Swag arrived yesterday, thanks.

    Spin

  • Rooftopvoter

    Skyes having a flashback.

We can never ever trust them.

  • Kafiroon

Sisters. I think Skye just threw that out as bait, and Sam hit on it.
It does expose many in our society that have bought the invented stories.
Note that even if people have doubts of the veracity, they still all bought the we must investigate further. And it worked. There is no Supreme Court Judge Kavanaugh.
    At least yet.

  • JTC

Nice role reversal, Skye the wit and Sam the gullible.

Skye is gettin’ her grok on! That’s a very good thing.

  • Polly Cy

Hold on buckaroos. Didn’t Skye also have a false memory of being gang raped by the high school football team? About, what, three or four years ago?

    • Polly Cy

(I mean the “memory” resurfaced, not the occurrence of the event.)

    • JTC

From what I gather of Skye’s past proclivities, that might have been a recollection of an actual event, but with some question of whether the gang was raping or being raped.

That role reversal certainly applies to much of the #metoo BS whether real or wishful thinking, like the drunk sluts in the Kavanaugh affair.

  • James Gemind

Skye’s point is well made. It is our own willful gullibility, as evidenced by certain parties to grant absolute truth to Dr. Ford’s version of events, which were lacking in important details but was graphic and lurid in other parts, while denying even the simplest right of Innocent Until Proven Guilty, to Justice Kavenaugh, who was able to provide detailed information on his activities.

The fact that Sen Flake(Appropriate name for him)caved to the demands of the DNC to have yet another investigation conducted was pathetic.

Kavenaugh should have been confirmed by now. But the DNC managed to get Flake to turn his coat.

Midterms will change history. Those of you in CA, vote for De Leon. Feinstein isn’t quite as bughouse nuts as him, but she has Seniority. Get her GONE!

  • JTC

At a gunnie blog wherein some argued that the opposition to Kavanaugh is about his stance on gun rights and others that it’s really all about abortion I commented:

“Yes it’s about abortion because they know there is some bipartisan support there and they need to turn a few from the other side.

It’s about immigration because they desperately need those replacement voters so they won’t need any bipartisan support going forward.

And of course it’s about guns because they also know they will not be able to rule by fiat and force if there is armed resistance.

But overwhelmingly it is about opposing and obstructing anything and everything Trump and Deplorable by any and every means they can.”

    • John

It’s about POWER and Western Civilization be damned.

  • Bread

I think what we’re seeing here is Skye’s evolution into a true ‘COMPASSIONATE CONSERVATIVE’ warrior. The most motivated warrior is one that realizes they have been used and abused by former allies. The most effective warrior is one that UNDERSTANDS how the enemy thinks. The most dedicated warrior is one who is repentant of their history and feels compelled to make up for it. Think Saul becoming Paul in Scripture.

  • NotYetInACamp

Oh my gosh. Doctor Ford has implanted some created memories in our poor dear wandering waif Skye when she was among the enemy. Per her CIA employers orders.
Well. That is one of our dear sweet doctor’s specialties for the CIA that I’ve read on the internet. If it’s on the internet, it has to be true. (That ad is coming back to haunt us. The snowflakes are following their rulers and demanding all on the internet to be true according to their beliefs. So they are doing to AJ now by banning him across over 90 platforms, and to all later.)
I’m rooting for her being joshin the sister. Hook planted. Pull.
