    Reloading ammo at his age?
I started reloading at 12 and by the time I was 15 was doing it myself, today at 65 I load 10 different calibers.

      J/K – I think I do 13.

Love them all, but all you need (I know, what’s “need” got to do with it?), is…

        .223/5.56, 9mm, .38/.357, 12ga…and first and foremost, .22.

No reloading on .22 period, so at .05 rd stack a shit-ton of it, it is sufficient if not ideal for every single eventuality. And prices/supply have steadied on the others; call me lazy but I would rather pay .20-.50 rd than struggle with it (unlike some I do NOT find reloading relaxing) esp. with all the other ancillary effort that goes into it. But more importantly, I can buy and stack a LOT more than my old fingers can load anymore…

I have been a handloader for over 50 years. 43 different calibers loaded on Dillon 550 machines. I shoot about 500 rounds/week, so handloading is a must. Casting is done for most of the revolver cartridges. Since I am a collector of the old, unusual and military firearms of the world, I shoot many strange arms.

BTW – If you know how many firearms you own, you don’t have enough.

I saw a post somewhere that pointed out that there were many genders but only 2 sexes. So from now on, I will only use the term sex. All of the employment forms in my company are being changed right now.

Following the example of your vice-*resident, shouldn’t it be
‘maybe after I’m hired’ and ‘does it mean I get the job’ ?

Gender is like in French for example, the nouns have a masculine or feminine gender. Not supposed to apply yo people. You’re right, two sexes.

That’s a response, then. When one of them claims to have gender ask them if they’re a proper or improper noun.

      Three genders: Masculine, Feminine, Neuter.

      Two sexes: Male, Female.

Just remember: Nouns have gender, People have SEX!

Samuel’s nickname: Bam Bam! As in “Thank you ma’am.” 😉

Best friend and I reloaded shot shells as young teens, boys, gunpowder, primers, what could go wrong there eh? I almost can’t believe we were as responsible as we were, no one got injured. lol
Didn’t learn metallic reloading until I was in my 20’s and fortunately had a very detail oriented mentor. My current thoughts are generally “This used to be a lot more economical.” Powder, Primers, and Projectile inflation has been out of hand for the last 20 years.

Got that right. It wasn’t all that long ago … 22 years perhaps … that a carton of 1000 primers was TEN DOLLARS and a pound of any kind of powder was $14 or less.

I’ve got an unopened 1000 pc box of large pistol magnum primers around here somewhere with the $2.69 price tag still on it.

Some thoughts on changes to make schools more freedom oriented, but good luck with you’re local school board.

That would make the populous completely unsuitable to being the type of slaves so many governments now demand.

Good suggestions. They need to be implemented

Thanks. I actually got a liberty minded member of our local school board to read it, who found it interesting. Hard to be hopeful though. A school could easily post the five rules of propaganda in the civics classroom. For all and sundry, they are:
        1. The rule of simplification – reducing all data to a simple confrontation between ‘Good and Bad’, ‘Friend and Foe’.
        2. The rule of disfiguration – discrediting the opposition by crude smears and parodies.
        3. The rule of transfusion – manipulating the consensus values of the target audience for one’s own ends.
        4. The rule of unanimity – presenting one’s viewpoint as if it were unanimous opinion of all right-thinking people: draining the doubting individual into agreement by the appeal of star-performers, by social pressure , and by ‘psychological contagion’.
        5. The rule of orchestration – endlessly repeating the same messages in different variations and combinations.

I didn’t take reloading in the sense of making ammo. I thought he was just reloading his 9mm magazine.

One loads a magazine, and reloads spent casings.

And the boy said “reloading my 9mm stack”…he wasn’t talking about a stacked mag but stacked boxes/bags.

So, sixty years today since JFK was taken out. Why, how, and by whom are all questions that are still up for grabs after all this time.

What we do know is that his killing was the beginning of riots in the streets, the imposition of the great society and crazy racial and political strife that continues to this day, and every now and then boosted by intentional actions.

Would things have been different under JFK? Maybe, again we just don’t know. One thing that irks me is the idolatry that pops up under his name even though by the time he died he had only good looks, a very bad decision on Cuba, and his carousing personal behavior. He might have ended up being in the league with an FDR or he might have crashed and burned under the burden of welfare and racial, political, and global tumult.

Anyway, may he RIP, and may we move forward without him but holding some of his words and those of MLK…and most especially RR, close to heart. Will any of it matter? I dunno.

Yup.The former would have almost certainly precluded the latter, and Viet Nam might have remained the insignificant gook backwater that it was.

ULTRA-MAGA TOP DAWG JTC, Shortly before JFK went to Dallas, he signed 2(?) National Security Action Memo(s) that dictated that we were to have all our troops out of Vietnam by Christmas ’64.
After the Bay of Pigs and the Cuban Missile crisis, he didn’t want any casualties in some unknown country during an election year.
Guess which NSAMs LBJ cancelled almost before Kennedy was in the ground?
