No guarantees of “on-time”, but as noted yesterday the Amtrak runs right behind your little Ivy Street clubhouse…and they’re already half in the socialism tank, so an easy transition, and plenty of room to stack the proles in the empty cars on most routes.

All the above is true…but are we talking about AOC or Hitler?

Homeless/unemployed nobody. Spawn of lower middle-class immigrants. Inflated opinion of intelligence and influence. Speaking to the hordes of disaffected and angry wastrels. Surrounded by those whose true goals would be served. No compunctions or conscience about murdering any and all who stand in the way, and using that to gain further influence among those handlers. An empty vessel to be filled with their true agenda.

The parallels are astounding, and she scares the fuck out of me.

No wonder Soros is on their side. George helped fill the trains to the camps for the German SS during the Second World War. George said on national TV, back when TV was TV, that hsi work then was the most exciting time of his life. That DNC Headquarters is now a center in the USA for recreating the exciting times George Soros experienced and loved. AOC is one of the deranged ones supporting those efforts,

In days of yore when I thought it worthwhile to engage “progressives” in heated debate (days long gone), each time I demonstrated their total alignment with communist ideals I’d be met with such white hot rage, I was glad they weren’t in possession of AR-15s to counter my argument with. Rage, not that I was uncivil or wrong, but rage that they’d been exposed. It’s the one thing, I’ve learned, that “progressives” loathe and fear above all else – being exposed for what they really are.

      Which also explains their self-loathing.
Human nature is a perverse thing, which is why the Left so vehemently denies it and continues to think Socialism, no matter the form, can work.
The wisdom of the Founders, on the other hand, fully recognized the Nature of Human Nature and forged our Constitution accordingly.
They weren’t perfect of course, witness the mistaken belief that the Vice President should be the runner-up in a Presidential election. But our neglect of the nature of the Political Animal has led to things like feces in the streets.

Important to remember (and keep reminding youngs ones if you can) of what Solzhenitsyn cautioned. If, every night a state agent kissed his family good-bye leaving for ‘work’, but didn’t know if someone with a gun or club or knife would be waiting for them instead of complying like sheep, the system would’ve ground to a halt. As he said, they didn’t. And they deserved what happened afterward.

My work during the Cold War took me through the DDR (East Germany) as well as East Berlin. You won’t like it folks – the trains actually don’t run on time, the track is poorly maintained – and the people are resigned to misery knowing the old lady down the road may turn them in for something.

EXCLUSIVE: Here’s The Document The White House, Barr Are Using To Push Gun Control On Republicans

“Consistent with the Manchin-Toomey draft legislation, a background-check requirement would be extended to all advertised commercial sales, including sales at gun shows,” the handout reads. “Background checks would be conducted either through a [Federal Firearm Licensee] or through a newly-created class of licensed transfer agents.”

If you are an unlicensed dealer selling commercially, as in you advertised a gun for sale, need background check. If you don’t want a 4473 you can get two forms, bill of sale with identifying info that goes to the seller and another with serial # verifying the check was successful. FFL or transfer agent doesn’t retain the forms unless you want them to. No advertising, no background check needed, private sells between friends and family still exempted.

Seems reasonable, with a nod towards the “gun show loophole” for the slavering hordes. If you’re advertising to sell to strangers for cash, might as well CYA with paperwork showing the government didn’t think the buyer was a prohibited person.

    REPLY
    • September 18, 2019 at 8:44 pm

Fuck that and all schemes to take away the historical exemption on regulation of private transactions…

Defend the National Public Armory (NPA)! It is the last frontier of freedom from defacto registration and confiscation, and that’s the ONLY reason the grabbers want to close that “loophole” (aka the SPECIFICALLY ENUMERATED AND SETTLED RIGHT to conduct private sales outside of their purview…gun sellers who buy and sell specifically for profit are already illegal under current ATF regs.

No law-abiding person wants to sell a firearm to someone with evil intent and it hardly ever happens because evildoers can get all the weapons they want directly or indirectly from dumbasses that don’t lock their shit up. A simple signed receipt with descriptions of the merchandise and the parties suffices to prove due care and diligence and stays right there in your possession in the safe where the merchandise used to be.

I am convinced that properly intelligent and skeptical 2A defenders including the NRA understand all of this and that is why they bent DT’s ear and why he withdrew his prior verbal support of so-called “universal background checks”. Maybe that’s naive but that trust is what has gotten us this far and it’s all we have. It’s up to US to be sure they maintain the courage of their and OUR convictions.

Yes this “seems reasonable” which is the aim to attain backdoor registration and this approach has been largely successful in gaining lip service support even from gunnies and Constitutionalists who know better than to trust any diminished rights that has not one damn thing to do with addressing crime and murderous rampages. Don’t be sucked in.

The news keeps saying how they were such a nice person, nobody noticed anything until the bodies were found. Banners are trying to go after manufacturers again, zoning dealers straight out of towns. I couldn’t financially withstand even one lawsuit over something that changed hands twice since the sale, and they might do that just to break me.

Going to a public location to hand a gun over to a stranger for money with someone behind the counter for a witness, which they frown on at McDonalds, and leaving with paperwork that proves I did due diligence by having the government sign off on it, doesn’t sound too bad. And while I can do that now anyway, this proposal has a no-4473 option so the feds don’t have the transaction records.

If you want to opt out and preserve the privacy and secrecy of the National Public Armory, don’t advertise. Sell by word of mouth, quietly asking friends and associates if they know anyone interested. It’s that simple.

      • September 19, 2019 at 12:04 am

All irrelevant to solving a non-existent problem. Private sales have been exempt from regulation and unlicensed dealers buying and selling with the sole intent to profit has been illegal since ATF came into being, and there are virtually no instances where legitimate private buyers and sellers have figured into any gun-related crime at all, let alone mass shootings, nor has there been any issue with liability that cannot be addressed with receipts, like every other buy/sell transaction. But none of that matters to antis because none of that plays into the agenda they serve and the problem they really want to solve; they want control and a trail to track down you and your guns to make them vulnerable to registration and confiscation, and if you believe there will be no traceable records then you probably also believe that NICS records are destroyed and untraceable also. That is incredibly naive.

Most private sales are not advertised because there is no need to as there is more demand than supply, but what is word of mouth but a form of advertising, and why would you need to sneak around to do something entire legitimate and legal, making it into something dark and surreptitious when it is not?

Fighting the loss of this right is a matter of principle and awareness of the very slippery slope it would be a big step onto. There is absolutely no justification for it.
