A few years ago, Matt Bracken wrote an essay describing exactly how this would happen (if the SNAP stopped). As ugly as he describes the ensuing violence, I think he was optimistic. The biggest problem with the tick class is their mobility. They can bring their violence to neighborhoods quite far from their nest.
Fortunately the majority of them are self concentrated in major Blue Cities and depend on public transportation, a 400 pounder isn’t going to walk far from their HUD apartment. Is that why Dem Gun Grabbers have tried so long and hard to keep them and us disarmed?
When my wife immigrated here from Thailand, he asked where the poor people were. Just then we were driving through a mixed light industrial/lower income residential area, and I pointed towards one of those run down pay by the week “hotels” often used by those one step above being homeless.
SHe looked where I pointed and said, “They can’t be poor. They’re fat and have cars and TVs.”
Those people were had more than most Thai’s living in my wife’s farming village.
Wanting to kick back and live on what other people are forced to give you instead of at least trying to provide for yourself…legally…knows no colour.
These ‘ebt’ cards should only be useable at one grocery store that only stocks essentials and has a limit on how many ‘nonessentials’ can be purchased. I’m sitting here drinking pop and eating doritos for my Saturday afternoon treat, but I paid for those myself. I’m almost at the point where that system and the ‘non profit food banks’ that are stripped clean by foreign ‘students’ (who are supposed to be self sufficient in order to get the visa) before anyone needing the food can get any, should be replaced with prepacked nonperishable grocery boxes and issued one per person per week. Depending on other people sucks but incentive to help yourself instead only helps. “Help thy neighbour” doesn’t mean watch them drive cadillacs and eat lobster while you have aused car and store brand bologna because you can”t afford anything else after paying for theirs. if you can afford tattoos, hair extensions, designer clothes and dope, then you can afford oatmeal and vegetables.
I would add cable TV, premium services and etc. to the prohibited list.
If you’re on the dole, you shouldn’t have Netflix.
No “Obamaphones”, either. Want a cellphone? Buy a burner at Walmart, with cash.
I might add that my “basic” phone (landline only) and Internet (same, no WiFi) runs me about $135/mo.
I hate calling Customer Service because all I ever get is somebody who tries to pressure me to “go wireless”.
The phone companies (I’m looking at you, AT&T) don’t want to “maintain a system” anymore. They just want to sell people radio bandwidth on a monthly basis.
This may explain why every “customer service” rep you have to talk to there today sounds like either a female whose primary language is Ebonics, or else a male who sounds like he’s from the Punjab.
And if you, the customer, cannot understand her high-speed babble or don’t want to say “yes” to his demands that you buy a cell contract instead of getting whatever’s wrong with your phone or internet connection fixed, of course your a “rayciss” and therefore It’s All Your Fault.

Rumour in the news today that the ebt’s might go offline if the ‘shutdown’ goes on much longer, they’re already setting the stage to blame Trump for it. If the feral gimmies even think they’re not getting their ‘rights’ and have someone to blame it’s going to be ugly. Worst case scenario, the carnage is Biblical…best case, it’s ‘new’ testament…everything is centered around the next elections, if the dems lose enough seats in those then the party is pretty much extinct and stirring up the locusts is one of their usual ploys.
I am going to bet the shutdown will end before November First since that is when the EBI cards are stopped. I’ll bet before Halloween. I do wish it would stop all together.
A waitress said she needs her food stamps because her freezer is empty. She’s horribly obese. And White.
