Oh crap you’re going to compel me to make some this time of night. But I do have lettuce and tomato to use up… So it’s a good thing, yes it is.

“Inspector General Michael Horowitz is preparing a “damning report”on former FBI director James Comey’s conduct and has referred him for possible prosecution under the classified information protection laws, the Hill’s John Solomon reported Wednesday night. Unfortunately, Solomon is reporting that Department of Justice prosecutors under Attorney General William Barr have decided not to prosecute C
According to Solomon’s sources, the IG report will conclude that Comey “leaked classified information and showed a lack of candor,” but DOJ prosecutors declined to bring charges because they didn’t think they had enough evidence to prove that Comey intended to violate the law.
It won’t be lost on conservatives that “lack of evidence of intent” is the same rationale Comey used to let Hillary Clinton off the hook for violating the Espionage Act when she mishandled classified information on her home-brew email server while secretary of State.”

    • WayneM

I’m sure Comey would be popular in the crowbar hotel.

    • MasterDiver

When I was in SAC with a TS/EBI clearance, if I had ever “leaked classified information and showed a lack of candor,” I’d be so deep in Leavenworth I’d STILL be waiting for my first ration of daylight!
“To err is Human, To forgive is NOT SAC policy!”
      Equal Justice!

I never intend to break any laws, it just happens from time to time, Hell, it’s unavoidable! I’m likely not even aware of it, much less intent on it.

What should we plea next time it happens?
“Clinton exemption” has a certain ring to it. 🙂

      “Intention Exemption” Nailed it!

    • rickn8or

“Lack of evidence of intent” has meant exactly Jack Shit in every other instance of mishandling classified material I’ve ever seen.

  • interventor

I suspect there is more to this than meets the eye. Barr has evidence against Comey, who would prefer to be thought of as a white knight. Squeeze Comey for bigger fish, in return for no prosecution, or a Papadopoulos — 14 days.

What Interventor said. Fucking U.S. Attorney’s Office always wants a slam-dunk case presented, because their win/loss record in hotly-contested trials is lukewarm at best. A walk through the ocean of the U.S. Attorney’s Office courage and initiative would scarcely soak your ankles.

  • Wotan

Of course Gregg Jarrett says the element of intent being necessary for criminal behavior is a misnomer per some 1948(?) revision to the relevant statute. Needless to say that it is only the top of the third inning and the Home Team Manager has Bullpen Aces up his sleeve, as well as Mr. Unforced Errors, Ballpark Ground Rules, and, of course … visiting team snitches to be introduced….. Stay tuned in and (Kadaka) get the grill ready for Dodger Dawgs!!!

Who cares if my phone sends my bacon club recipe to PETA? I’m a member of PETA, too. People Eating Tasty Animals. Uuummmmmmm……….baaaaaaaaacon.

There’s a place for things like turkeys…..right next to the mashed potatoes and gravy….

  • I always rather figured that’s what those devices could do.

    • MasterDiver

It’s like the Desperation Chip in office copiers. The more desperate you are for the machine to work, the more likely there will be a catestrophic failure. And threatening to use a different machine won’t work; they all belong to the same union.

      Zar Belk!

        yes indeed !!! 🙂

    • John D. Egbert

Yeah. And check those prices. Talk about obscene . . .

  • Halley

One thing is certain – the Democrat nomination for president should be decided by a swimsuit competition between Skye and Tulsi.

  • nonncom

Now that’s some funny shit right there, Chris….

  • Spin Drift

Do you think for a NY minute that the Demoncrats would hesitate to try and fry PDJT if the shoe was on the other foot? Lady Justice wears a blindfold for a reason. Put the SOB up in front of a jury of Patriotic Americans and see how long it takes for the jury to come back guilty? They might even wait till lunch, free meal you know.

Equal Justice for all from the dirt people to the cloud people.

After inconvenient truths like the immigration and border policies of Obama and Trump are about the same and Obama built those cages for kids, and Barry’s “flexible” Russia policies, many Democrat presidential candidates are attacking Barry and Biden’s “accomplishments”, including tearing Obamacare to shreds.

But cooler heads are recommending Joe’s stance of not attacking Barry since he remains a beloved and popular figure among the voter base, and should be remembered as a strong positive leader and not re-envisioned for cheap political points.

If you like your Obama, you can keep your Obama.

    • NotYetInACamp

What bank with a controlling interest by a Saudi essentially picked Obama’s Cabinet?

    • JTC

“If you like your Obama, you can keep your Obama.”

Yup. In a package deal with another one.

This “attack” is all part of the plan for the draft.

    • Doggo

Plus, taking down Barry also takes down Michelle, Michael Moore’s Great Black Hope.

  • interventor

Well, it takes time to elect a jury foreman.

    • Saaruuk

I’ve been on 5 juries, both criminal and civil. Been elected foreman on all 5.

  • Pamela

Wonder what peta will do when all the plants die off from global cooling…

    • kadaka

Plants and animals will survive in the ocean as they have for billions of years, only what’s on land is at risk. Thus humanity will be exterminated by Greenies absolutely rejecting any GMOs so humans will never be given gills.

    • Punta Gorda

Don’t forget that at about 150 ppm CO2, photosynthesis shuts down. We got close to that in the LIA.
