Science fiction often involves cautionary tales about out of control technology and self-replicating robots who end up turning against humans is a trope. The notion is when autonomous robots “improve” new versions of themselves, their connection to humanity becomes less secure. Mind you, Jo and the others are very connected to the family but it’s a thought.
As we’ve seen, robots like Jo are capable of feats of strength as well as shapeshifting etc. Imagine the mischief of a robo-baby bot as a childhood companion to L’il Jack. If Zed wasn’t already gray… lol

Not bad. Next blast heard might not be an IED that was located. After all, it’s just molecular stuff.

Time for another download, it appears.
Given how “fertile” things are around DD Ranch, perhaps there is a somewhat scary story arc ahead regarding bouncing baby bot(s)?
Hmmm.

Maybe inspiration from James P. Hogan’s “Code of the Lifemaker”? I never met him when he live about 20 miles from me.
