No wiki people there. They’re all back in their basements and keyboards begging for money.
(In case you’re worried….they’re all leftist enough to not be imprisoned in the FedGov Bastille)

Now, now. It’s an ongoing process. If it goes on, eventually most of them will not be sufficiently leftist. At least on the Robespierre/Pol Pot path, which is a natural development of ever-escalating virtuousness.
For that matter, if you get moderately lucky and have a Stalin before this goes full tilt, most of the windbag crowd will go full Permanent Revolution and wind up purged for excessive leftism instead.

Our = the elitist DildoCrats and RINOs of the uniParty?

You just noticed? The Greeks had democracy (and the real thing wasn’t exactly all roses), USA talking heads use the term «our democracy». Considering its origin, it’s likely to be a special pleading qualifier. Compare: “second freshness”, “social justice”, “professional skeptic”…
Anyway, common sense suggests a heuristic: if you don’t understand the term, the “our” part probably does not includes you.

It is a transfer…from our Republic to their Democracy.

And that is the virtual line in the sand for the coming war.

Democracy vs. Republic…not the same as Democrats vs. Republicans.

It can’t go on like it has been. Stand up or die. CRA Now!

    Wikipedia is in on it.

While it started as a good faith attempt to democratize information, it has been hijacked by the socialist Left.

Wikipedia, owned by Wikimedia Foundation, Inc., is headquartered on the Left Coast … in San Fransicko, Nancy Pelosi’s digs.

Watch your step over there … and do not walk around barefooted or in sandals.

Wiki is a good place to begin research on just about anything/anyone not in any way related to politics. But only a good start; anything they say should be corroborated by at least three other unrelated known accurate sources.

The IngSoc (theocracy) style justice in action. Thoughtcrime (heresy) is the only true crime. The rest are mere misbehavior from not being properly conditioned by the korrekt sort of preachers. Maybe he merely needed more scientology in google ads on his obamaphone.

The distinction between ‘Constitutional Federal Republic’ and a ‘Democracy’ (i.e., mob rule), is lost on way too many people.

It is not understood, nor do progressive leftist proglodytes want it understood.
Civics has been removed from the classroom, but everyone feels good.

We started losing our Republic with the 17th Amendment.

Back in the ’60s at parochial school, the Nuns taught us about civics and government in the Third Grade. Public schools are just 8-year daycare warehouses.

Free-fall feels good til you hit that sudden stop.
Both the Framers and the Founders knew full well that the Tyranny of the Majority is just as bad, if not worse, than any other type of Tyranny.
They went to great lengths to form a functional system that would break up government into manageable pieces and pit the pieces against each other.
I have to wonder if they could imagine just how organized Corruption could be though. The Military/Industrial/Educational/Congressional complex is the result of the true Original Sin, that is the overwhelming desire to Game the System.
We are about to test just how good a job they did.

The old Greeks had a special term for mob rule: “ochlocracy”. Which already tells us that under “democracy” they understood something else. Which isn’t hard at all to find out.
And now the interesting part: obviously, the difference between these terms was based on (and indeed refers to) the difference between “people” and “mob”. It looks like the latter was self-evident for those who used both terms. If it’s not self-evident for you (which is common, unfortunately), it’s easy to reconstruct from meaning of both derivative terms. Of course, the result is going to make some other things obvious, and that’s no fun at all… but you should expect this by now.

“Democratic” is their favorite camouflage word for “Socialist”. I’ve heard it thousands of times, and most everyone still falls for it. Their “perfect democracy” is a One Party Socialist State. Because of their bad intentions, they’re forced to play Language Charades with everything.

This is commonly attributed to Benjamin Franklin:

The Freedom Convoy is due to arrive in Ottawa tomorrow… literally thousands to truckers pissed off with Trudeau the Younger’s latest antics.

Being the brave stoic leader… Trudeau reacted by pretending to have been exposed to COVID and despite being (theoretically) triple-vaxxed and having tested negative, he is self-quarantining for five days… despite there being no legislative or mandated reason for doing so…

The fuckwit “leader” of the CONservatives is determined to snatch defeat from every situations. Erin “TheToole” has been so reluctant to endorse the Freedom Convoy that other prominent Conservatives bypassed him to do so.

It’s all second rate circus, indeed.
I begin to wonder why the wave of de-puppeting coups in USA client states (as in fall of Warsaw Pact all over again) didn’t start already. It’s not like US military right now is either able or willing to keep them in line… no matter how loudly CNN wrings hands over baby-eating practices of some “Literally Saddam!!1”. Not that the somewhat-Right and rear-Left have lost their hubris, but they certainly have much more important problems much closer to home to not see any external adventure as a mere distraction. Why should China be the only one to benefit from this?

“Our Democracy” – the democracy of those well-entrenched in the politics of the Beltway. Anyone outside of the Beltway need not apply, including such upstarts as Donald J. Trump Sr. and Jr. and their families. It’s the most egregious example of a “Good Old Boy/Good Old Girl Network” in the U.S., possibly in the world!

I was thinking today that other than running for re-election, and now ranting at people for not being “perfect” like him, Joe Biden hasn’t been outside of the Beltway since he graduated from college and went into politics fifty years ago.

The same could be said for most of the “leadership” of both political parties.

The media types never leave NYC or LA except to go to…DC. Or, once a year, Davos.

I spend all my vacation time in “flyover country.” It’s where America’s real beauty resides. There’s twice the American culture to be had at a small-town rodeo and BBQ than you’ll ever suck out of a coastal art museum.
