We’ve been at war with Iran since 1979, either directly or with their proxies. How many times has Iran sent gunboats out into the Persian Gulf to harass or attack US Navy ships? How many times have they used their Houthi proxies to launch missile strikes against US Navy ships in the Red Sea and surrounding waters?
IMHO we aren’t at war with “Iran.” Iran = Islam at its most virulent.

I’m not sure any sort of “bombing” can end the fourteen-century-long nightmare called “Islam”.
We considered Nazism the nightmare of the 20th Century. We’re only now starting to realize that it was mainly a watered-down version of Islam, complete to the primitivism, occultism, and anti-Semitism.
Similarly, Communism was pretty much just Islamist economics minus the “divine inspiration” element.
What all three have in common is that if you don’t agree with the leaders and their dogmas 1000%, they’ll kill you.

Sounds like a pretty good operation. When we would put three B52s over one high value target in Southeast Asia, with 37,500 pounds of bombs on each plane, we called it a “Gang Bang”. I’m glad to see the same sort of stuff still gets done when necessary- – – – -just a lot more accurately!
My brother was a crew chief on the 52’s in Guam mid 60’s. He trained on loading 30,000 lb bombs, meant for taking care of the tunnels in ‘Nam. He never said if they actually used them. Although I’m sure if they had, it would have been noted. Theoretically they are still in storage in some obscure storage facility.
He also uploaded the cannister bombs that had thousands of bomblets on strings. These, they dropped on the Ho Chi Minh trail with 9 B52’s. They said from the air, it looked a bushhog was used to chop up everything in sight.
Kind of wish we had written down the wild stuff we saw & did in the military & in R&D working for the Navy as civilians.

If indeed the mullahs DO decide to ‘wake-up’ the sleeper cells here, it’s probably going to manifest itself mostly in blue cities/states and all the leftist universities. While I don’t think the leaders over there even remotely understand blue/red, they DO know about Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York City, Washington DC etc. They only know most of the big cities and know practically nothing about the rural areas and people.
Every one of the above named locals is both blue and have the most restrictive and stringent gun laws in the country! In other words, prime targets.

People also forget that we are technically at war with Iran. They declared war on the United States and Israel back in 1980. They have been attacking the United States, either directly or through proxies ever since.
Finally, If Iran were to get the Bomb, Iran will use the Bomb. The only delay would be to make sure they had enough to destroy Israel and kill millions of Americans.
For those who think Iran has no means of getting them here, take a look at all the container ships arriving every day, then imagine what things will be like of all those ports are nuked.
My concern exactly, one container on a ship in New York harbour with a few hundred pounds of explosives and a couple of pounds of unrefined uranium and the media will do the rest of the job for them with ridiculously inflated claims of the entire Eastern seaboard being rendered unfit for human habitation forever, all designed to create panic in the streets even with a very localized rad count barely above background…the last I saw, Hiroshima and Nagasaki were doing pretty well.

President Trump did what the last several presidents should have done before it reached this point. Thank God we finally have a president with a backbone of steel.
