β€œOnce is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. Three times is enemy action.”
    Ian Fleming

    • Merle

The way I learned it, twice is suspicious….. πŸ™‚

    • MasterDiver

And he was quoting Alan old Chicago gangster saying…(Well Obie did bring the “Chicago Way” to DC)
      Zar Belk!

  • What Grunt said. The level of coincidence, lost emails, Arkancide, ad infinitum, is beyond belief.

  • Merle

Why not declare that they deleted info and that is proof of guilt and therefore constitutes treason. Once the arrests start I bet they could suddenly “find” the missing stuff in order to face a lighter charge…. πŸ™‚

    • Kafiroon

I said that to the wife earlier today. That works for me.

      • PaulS

WOW, what had she done? πŸ˜‰

      • S'aaruuk

        And most definitely me.

    • Polly Cy

I’m not a lawyer, but isn’t destroying subpoenaed material a criminal offense? or at least Obstruction of Justice? Let’s see, if each destroyed email or document constitutes a separate offense, that could wind up with a jail term of, oh, a couple thousand years. And of course there’s no parole for federal offenses, so all the time would have to be served. Lovely thought.

      • GWB

Which is why they didn’t “destroy” it, they simply “failed to preserve” it.

        • Old Codger

Actually, they didn’t “fail to preserve” the texts at all. It was simply a massive, highly selective and fortuitous SERIES of software glitches which somehow resulted in those specific texts not being preserved. And if I were on the jury I damned well would vote to acquit the one(s) accused of destroying evidence – not because of reasonable doubt but because of 1) a well developed instinct for self-preservation and 2) the ability to spell “arkancide”.

          • Henry

It’s a damn good thing that foreign hackers keep backups.

          • JTC

Sorry Henry, I didn’t see your quip before I referenced Wiki downthread…good one.

      • Interventor

        Spoilation of evidence.

    • MasterDiver

It at least constituted Obstruction of Justice, and that’s good for a Federal criminal record and some time in the Greybar Arms.

      Zar Belk!

      • Major Matt Mason

Send ’em to Prison Planet 17!

        Ghale Gamilon!

    • Hell yes, go for it!

  • Kafiroon

There was plan A. Hillary is elected and whatever any of them did is never exposed.
Plan B. We “lost” it. It was “accidentally” erased. The dog ate if. Etc.
Whatever excuse, with those liars, it was planned to occur.

    • JTC

I’m damned if I can figure out why?

      • Because they’re guilty?

        • JTC

Yes but think deeper cmb; guilty of coverup…

But why is this deep and wide collusion at these alphabet soup groups covering for these despicable anti-American players? Are they on that anti team too, do they also want America to end? Or is it just a matter of a payoff?

  • Alex J

    Do Not Pass Go,
    Go Directly To Jail

    • Polly Cy

Of course, if it’s Hillary, the $200 has long since been collected.

      • PaulS

        A million times!

  • Pamela

I thought Inspector General Horowitz downloaded all of the texts back in December 2017.

  • Calvin

I imagine the scene the night of the election at the FBI, Justice, and Hillary headquarters was very similar to one of the final scenes from “Patton”. Where everyone is standing around burning documents in burn barrels and making travel plans.

    • NotYetInACamp

      Submarine to Argentina still work?

      • GWB

Not so much the Venezuelan one.

        • John

I think we can, out of mercy, afford a parachute for each of them to land safely in Venezuela.
They need to sample first hand the world they wished so ardently to foist on us.

          • Cheers!

  • cz93x62

    Hook ’em

    And book ’em

    And don’t look back.

  • Deplorable B Woodman

I am STILL waiting for the arrests, for malfeasance, and contempt of Kongress, if nothing else. I WANT TO SEE SOME G########MED SILVER BRACELETS HERE, PEOPLE!!!!

    • JackDeth 72

      *Ahem*

      “Yeah…. I’ve got a plan. Let’s hang them all!”

*ADA Abby Carmichael (Angie Harmon): ‘Law & Order’*

  • epilitimus

    ET stole them.

  • TMLutas

Reorganize the government so all backup people are now employees of the Congress reporting to their main IT department. The facilities, funds, and employees just move on over, same pay and benefits but now they have to pass on all their backup failures as they happen and can no longer refuse to process restore requests from Congress.

For very little money, this solves the vast majority of the problem.

Congress gets access to the information it needs often before it even realizes it needs it.

    • GWB

That way they can all work for Arwan? No thank you!

      • Kafiroon

Yup. I’ll bet Arwan is still receiving info from the DNC and other hidden taps he planted.

    • John

Hasn’t the NSA backed up all of this stuff?

      • Merle

        Good point ! πŸ™‚

        • JTC

If not wiki probably has them.

  • WayneM

Funny how they can find a copy of DJT talking off the record about how some star-dazzled women make themselves sexually available to men in positions of power so much so they’ll “let you grab ’em by the pussy” and yet… those whose jobs supposedly depend on the continuity of evidence can somehow “lose” important materials…

I’m sure someone will be thrown under the bus for this one soon…

  • Polly Cy

Am I the only one who thinks Chris’s pic of Trey Gowdy makes him look an awful lot like George Washington?

  • Sarthurk

With all due respect… When is Gowdy gonna stop barking, and start biting?

    I’m waiting..

    • JackDeth 72

When Mr. Gowdy has something worth biting on. And he hasn’t gotten it yet.

  • Paladin

I am sure that there are politicians (ruling class) that are telling Trump, that arrests can’t be made because the people will lose confidence in our form of government.
Too many in power would have to go to jail.
That is exactly why they need to be prosecuted and incarcerated, so that “We The People” do not lose confidence in our form of government!
No Man is Above the Law!

  • Bill G

18 1//2 minutes of tape erased from Nixon’s office sent the left into a tizzy for decades. But this is supposed to go away with one “Never mind”?

    • GWB

You’re saying that in an Emily Litella voice, right?

      • Bill G

        Yes.

        • JTC

Did an Emily bit on Palm Beach talk radio back in the early Reagan days. I though it was hilarious, the hosts not so much I guess…might link my remembrance of it sometime; in some ways the game and the goals were not much different than now.

  • Unca Walt

Did ANYONE ever brace Hillary with a direct question thusly:

“Hillary, what possible defense can you come up with for smashing 13 gummint phones with a hammer?”

    • Doggo

She wanted to upgrade to the iPhone X?

  • All of this is tied to the Dems “electing a new people”. Trump’s election was terrible enough – for them – to fight his policies 24/7. With all these possible ‘conviction in a can’ emails disappeared but not destroyed hanging over a lot of heads the gov’t shutdown and DACA suddenly became moot points in the Power Play of DC.
Just a theory, but Our President may be able to make this work to his favor for a long time. Maybe send a lot of innocent illegals back home.

  • Pamela

I’m waiting for some good Ole Boys to let loose a few Skunks, “Pines, Foxes and Forest Pigs in the Houses, then turn loose some Bluetick Catahoula hounds to rundown the varmints. Wonder how many Congress Critters would get treed?

    • Kafiroon

Being skunks, weasels and other varmints, it would be all of them.
(Insults to actual skunks, weasels and other varmints not intended.)

  • Spin Drift

I believe that the time has long since passed when the great unwashed want and need to have “The Untouchables” in government rounded up for high crimes and misdemeanors. If that rocks the Government to the core then so be it. Bureaucrats can be replaced and Senators and Congressmen can be appointed by the states. Now is the time for the Big D to unleash Sessions to issue indictments. To save the country this has to be done to both sides of the aisle. Start with the Clinton’s and an audit of the CGI. They got Capone on tax evasion. Billiary can add money laundering and Quid Pro Quo charges to their list of transgressions.

    Spin
    Hang ’em high boys!

    • Kafiroon

I think they were only useful idiots intent on scamming off as much money as possible. That of course let them be controlled, especially if there was money in it.

      • JTC

And this might be the key to finding out by whom. And finally that little dwarf Sessions is pledging to be on it like stink, I believe that also is at the behest of Gowdy. I still don’t trust him; we’ll see if the “whom” we speak of can get to him and shut him down.

  • Old Codger

Was it really only those texts which went to the great bit bucket in the sky or did a larger group of texts “fail to be preserved”? I cannot believe anyone – even a prog – would be so stupid as to only delete the most potentially incriminating texts. Hell! I’d sooner buy the “dog ate homework” story (mostly because I had a friend in High School whose dog actually DID<chew up his term paper) than the multiple software glitches dodge.

  • Interventor

    Spoilation of evidence.
