Having associated with Jews, among others, and having lived in Israel for a time, I sold out on only One. The birth of whom we are – some of us – cellebrating. Even if no one in their right mind would be unprotected in Bethlehem at this time of year. Just as bad as The Frozen Tundra was.
Why was the first thought in my head go to Classic Cars and New Cars? The classic NOVA ( Nice to see it again) Vs. some of the W*@$T designs I’ve ever seen in automobiles. What jew think about that ?
A nice Jewish boy who went into his father’s business ?
Most xtians today don’t even follow those teachings, they’re Paulians and Paul (born Saul) was the original pray-for-pay televangelist, the majority of his writings are letters begging for money and complaining he’s not being treated the way a Roman citizen should be. That is, when he isn’t saying you don’t have to follow the laws Yeshua did, he kept kosher and told people to follow the Torah instead of the talmud, a Babylonian rabbis creation. Remember, there was no ‘new’ testament at the time, he didn’t speak English because it didn’t exist at the time, and looked like any other ME resident of the time, not 6 foot tall and caucasian.
There’s nothing wrong with following xtianity (and that’s the way it was originally written, followers made themselves known with an ‘X’ as a symbol) what’s wrong is when it’s used to steal from people and break the laws G-d gave us in favour of Roman policies, Yeshua was a good thing, paul…not so much, but it’s Paul’s teachings people follow the most.
Happy Birthday Yeshua bar Yusef, even if you were born in the Spring and the day got moved to absorb the holidays of other cultures 😉
Well said and spot on. If anything, the Paulians are following the carefully pruned & modified version created by Constantine II; putting the Roman in Roman Catholic…
Many moons ago (late 70s/early 80s) there was an afternoon news/talk show host on WBAL Baltimore I tried never to miss, up til he virtually died on-air from cancer.
I still remember perhaps the best of his throwaway lines: “And what is Christianity but a sect of Judaism? All Jesus wanted to do was clean up his own religion.”

“So. You chose the jew classic over the new jew?”
Throwback to “Bloom County” and “This Coke tastes funny”??
This is like one of those trick patterns they use to test proofreaders.
I don’t think Chris sees it yet.
D’oh! Missed that.

Hi Skye ( still smitten smiley face, LOL )
I can hear the cheers of Delta House:
“Nova! Nova! Nova!”
Best car I ever owned. A well done small-block was a fine thing. Just like that one, but medium-burgundy.

Yeah, sort of like Coke, and then the “New Coke” … you just cannot beat the original, the Real Thing.
New Coke proved to be a debacle for Coca-Cola back in … the 80s?!?
