Lots of discussion, if ShamFran Nan DOES NOT deliver the (koff!) Articles of Impeachment (koff!) to Post Turtle McConnell, is President Trump really impeached?
The DildoCrats are the living embodiment of the old joke, “What’s the first thing you do when you find yourself in a hole? Stop digging!”
There is so much mental disconnect, and so little common sense (which apparently is not that common anymore) in the DildoCrats, that the DildoCrats are still digging.
Tisk. All that energy gone to waste, with nothing useful produced. If that energy were to be harnessed, it could power the US for at least a day, all by itself. Tisk.

The House impeachment passed on 17 December. When, next the Senate meets, they should approve a motion, that if the Articles of Impeachment don’t arrive at the Senate by 17 January, the Articles will be considered null and void.

ShamFran Nan is too old and desiccated to be in the saddle or wearing a saddle. She needs to be led to the knackers and boiled into glue or turned into other useful products, (whatever those may be) from her ancient, dried out, chemically polluted, botoxed body.

Two and a half years of teasing and false starts with a grand attempt that didn’t pan out,

Then jumping on a moment of opportunity where it was all Dems rushing through what the Dems insisted on doing until the fast premature ejection of the smallest thinnest impeachment ever as the Dems shouted they’re the kings of the world,

With the Dems yelling at the Repubs that hey babies, if you wanted a fair piece of this we told you how to get some, you just got to play along; that’s what’s happened.

But now it’s serious, got to do it Big Time. So they’re going for delayed gratification, let the tension build, watch the interest rise until just the right moment for the show to begin. And it’ll be on their terms or else! Top of the world!

Will someone please demand the Democrats zip up and get down from that park bench, the kiddies shouldn’t see the Dems abusing themselves in public like that.

I hope the Senate puts an expiration date on that “semi-impeachment”. It is starting to sound like a ticking bomb waiting for some Uniparty, or “Never Trumper”, Senators to be flushed out of the weeds. The President is bound to piss off someone in the GOPe while cleaning out the swamp. Plus, who knows what “feelthy pictures” the FBI/DOJ has held back from the Epstein stash. The statute of limitations has probably run out on “criminal” acts but there are primaries, divorce courts, and shareholder meetings to consider.

Nancy’s love note needs a “Sell By” date.

Some commentators on the progressive side are calling the Dems’ impeachment a grenade with the pin pulled that Pelosi is ‘holding for the right moment:”.

    Quite aside from the due process (for Trump) considerations, they apparently don’t know the old saying;

    This is Mr. Grenade.

    This his associate, Mr. Pin.

Once you have pulled Mr. Pin out of Mr. Grenade, Mr. Grenade is no longer your friend.

Pelosi better not let her fingers slip on that spoon.

The invitation is sent out, Pelosi wants Trump to give the SOTU speech on Feb 4.

Will she release the articles just beforehand to get him enraged and off-script, or is she holding out for the Dem SOTU rebuttal where they’ll include “other evidence the Senate must consider”?

The Dems are in the position of the dog ho chased cars until he caught one, According to their own constitutional scholar, Harvard Law professor Noah Feldman,

If the House does not communicate its impeachment to the Senate, it hasn’t actually impeached the president. If the articles are not transmitted, Trump could legitimately say that he wasn’t truly impeached at all.

All that sound and fury and it’s all for naught unless the articles are delivered to AND ACTED UPON by the Senate.

But then, if SanFran Nan DOES deliver the articles. all Senators are required BY LAW to be present for the proceedings. How many currently serving Senators are still in the race for the Democrat nomination for POTUS? If they were tied to the Senate chamber, they couldn’t do just a whole lot of campaigning, now could they? They definitely don’t want Pelosi to keep them from campaigning.

Yup. The Dems are like the dog who chased cars until he cought one. What the HELL does he do now? Meanwhile The Prez’s approval ratings keep on climbing.

Interestingly, there’s one person seriously jonesing for the Democratic nomination for President who isn’t a senator right now. Oh, sure, there’s a bunch of third stringers who might pull it off – if every single strongman in the party suddenly contracted the Arkansas Flu or something. No one in the party power structure is going to allow Yang or Williamson or Steyer to get that top slot.
But, there is one who was once a senator, and has executive experience. And she’s waiting in the wings… just hoping… believing in a brokered convention….

But I think Bobo would hover in the background, with Big Mike choosing its own non-threatening second fiddle, maybe something like Butt-giggety.

Regardless, as I said a slam-dunk as the current crop of clowns bow to its awesomeness and throw their minions and money into its cause.

      • December 21, 2019 at 12:57 pm

Steyer is running TV ads pushing term limits. That disqualifies him as a Democrat from being Prez, VP, straight down to dog catcher. The Party will never let him buy out of that credibility gap.

I’m hoping for the Bloomberg/Harris ticket, “You will submit and We will protect!”

The new House as part of the new Congress may have to go through a new Star Chamber procedure, I think may be in oreder.

But let’s not tell them. It is a good question.

Is the vote on the Impeachment mooted and lacking any effect if it is not sent to the Senate before that Congress ends and the new Congress is seated? Or even if the now sitting Congress (Senate) cannot or does not vote on it, is the Impeachment vote rendered ineffective?

      Procedural rules can have meaning.

Nancy gets her Star chamber, and then denies President Trump his trial.

The Democrat actions were ridiculous. Let the Democrats do it again. The actual effect of a new Congress must be determined.
