It apparently originated in Machine Gun News, June 1991, in the column “RAFFICA” by Dan Shea; repeated in the National Educator (Fullerton CA), January 1994. There’s no provenance she ever actually said this, according to Neal Knox, who researched it pretty exhaustively.

She worked for the GOP (and so was unlikely to have been testifying in favor of a socialist America), and later, her husband was Reagan’s press secretary. Only after he was shot in 1981 did she get involved with HCI, which during the Carter admin, was run by Charles Orasin and “Pete” Shields.

I remember him from when he was a local reporter in Dallas, TX back in the mid-’80s, while I was stationed at NASD (now closed [sniff]) as Public Affairs Officer. He hasn’t changed a bit since . . .

Today it’s ‘one of the biggests costs is payments to the elderly’, so the announced increase in the pittance we paid for is officially cancelled to suck up to the youth who’ve never paid a single dime into anything through taxes, except possibly sales tax on the thousand dollar phones they buy with gov’t cheques…I fully expect that by this time next year the Canada Pension Plan will go broke from making hundred million dollar ‘investments’ in electric car battery plants, chinese front companies and various terrorist operations and the pensions we PAID for will disappear…I’d rather have just had my contributions back anyway.

Over 5% of all deaths in the country now, pretty soon they’re going to stop asking if you want it and just go ahead anyway. If they’re taking suggestions, I’d say start with everyone that has an ‘Honorable’ in front of their name…there’s no honour aong thieves, especially elected or appointed ones.
