    “Fortress of Solitude”
I LIKE that. It fits President Trump to a “T”.
    (see what I did there?)

  • Deplorable B Woodman

President Trump doesn’t hear enough thanks and gratitude from us ordinary voters.

    • TomZ

He got a payment on that in Dallas on Friday(?) at the arena at the convention center.

  • NotYetInACamp

One always needs people that one can tell the truth to about what is around him.

The power of one resolute person.

I just visualized that comment people make about they would rather be found in their fortress surrounded by the enemy dead and all of their used ammunition.
Except the enemy is running out of forces and troops to throw at him, and Trump still has plenty of ammo, with all sorts of the Cavalry ready to sea, land and air drop to render all assistance necessary at the drop of a hat, or one of those phone calls.
In solitude, President Trump is maintaining a target rich environment over which the President has great control.

  • WayneM

The blamestream media would have us believe Trump and Co are failing on every level and yet… things keep getting done…

Trump is no angel, nor did he pretend to be one… but as the swamp drains, all kinds of interesting & disgusting critters are being exposed.

The last panel is quite on the mark.

Never was a fan of Jersey or their beach fees. Last I remember the local news was all in a fit because a German tourist was dragged kicking and screaming from the water for not having her beach permit.

    • Deplorable B Woodman

Wait……what?! “Beach fees”? Jersey has “beach fees”? W-T-F? YGTBSM.

      • JJ cooper

        And they have gates, too.

  • Henry

Never been to his casino, so somebody’s going to have to tell me what the drapes are like.

Most likely, The One and the Moocher followed Bill and Hillary’s example, and took all the “good stuff” when they left.

They probably took all the “D”, “J”, and “T” keys off all the computer keyboards. as well.

NB; When the Clintons came in, they dumped the existing IBM based WH computer network because they liked Macs. When they left, they trashed said network by taking hard drives, dumping soda on motherboards, and removing the “G”, “W”, and “B” keys from keyboards. So the Bush 43 team replaced them with IBMs.

(Which are actually cheaper and less of a PITA to keep running. I know because I’ve used both over the years. As bad as IBMs are, Macs are worse.)

When The One arrived…you guessed it, the WH system was junked again and replaced with Macs.

All at taxpayers’ expense, of course.

Progressive dogmas and egos cost money in addition to all the other damage they do.

A lot of the crap being thrown at and around Trump come from the Intelligence agencies. Brenner sort of hinted at it though posed it as if he had knowledge of deeds. McCain admitted he pushed the dossier, good little minion that he has always been for leftist causes. Comey and his friends at the FIB (intentional reordering) set up the investigation, used powers they aren’t supposed to have to gin up the FISA warrant. Someone once said that you don’t piss off the Intelligence agencies (now a weaponized branch of the Democrats – thanks Duh One) because they can make things happen against you.

The Stormy Daniels stuff, the Cohen stuff, the Steele Dossier, the “wire taps”, these all have stench on them. (Stormy being paid that amount of hush money is low for a Billionaire, usually hush money is more likely to be million(s) in payment, a hundred or two grand is shut up and go away money for someone who has a questionable claim but will cost more to fight it).

With Sessions as his AG, it certainly seems as though Trump is isolated. Maybe he can wrap those drapes around the bodies of his enemies to give them a swim with the fishes. 😉

DTrump should take a trip down to Quantico and get some range time in.

Hobnob with the jarheads. That sort of thing. Fire off a few, enjoy a day off, and go home refreshed with his punctuated targets in his jacket pocket. Frame them for display and make sure the dumbocraps like Schemer get a glance at them.

    Because that’s what I’d do.

    • Jon

I like it. Nothing clears one’s head like concentrating with all you have on something downrange you want to put a precise hole into.

      • S'aaruuk

This…exactly. What I call “A quiet day at the gun range”. And prog/lib non-shooters give me the strangest look at that statement. They haven’t a single clue of what MENTAL QUIET actually means and how that would apply to a day at the range. But then, they can’t understand a day at the range being relaxing in the first place but……you know. *Rolls eyes*

“Trump Dumps Iran Deal, Promises Sanctions” (Bloomberg)

    White House (Online)
    1600 Penn. Ave.
    Wash. DC

    April 28, 2018

    Mr. President:

    Iran Deal: Kill it.

“[W]hen people treat me badly or unfairly or try to take advantage of me, my general attitude, all my life, has been to fight back very hard.” -AotD.

Pls consider, Mr. President, how Iran has treated the U.S.:

    > In 1979, Islamic Shiites overran the American embassy in Tehran, taking Americans hostages, holding them for almost a year-and-a-half
    > In 1983 the Iranian government financed the truck bombers who murdered 241 U.S. Marines in Beirut, Lebanon
    >In 1993, WTC bombed by Mahmud Abouhalima & others, all later linked to Al-Qaeda*
    > In 1994 then Iranian “president” Hashemi Rafsanjani, declaring war on American interests worldwide, urged Arab terrorists to hijack planes or to blow up factories in Western nations
    > In 1998 the New York Times reported: “Evidence suggests that Iran sponsored the attack” in 1996 that killed 19 U.S. soldiers in their barracks in Saudi Arabia
    > In 1999 the State Department reported Iran to be “the most active state sponsor of terrorism” in the Mid-East, which annual report has remained the same since
    >>>>>In May 2001, in Teheran, an amalgam of the world’s foremost terrorist groups met and resolved to unite against the U.S., declaring a “Holy War” against America;
    >>>>>On Sept. 11, 2001: Members of Al-Qaeda* felled the WTC

    >Since then: Iranian soldiers reported fighting GIs during Iraq; Iran later linked to Al-Qaeda*; Iran avowed ally of Russia & Syria (Assad); Iran developing nuclear weapons & SR & MRBMs to deliver them

    &c., &c., &c.

Iran has been making a holy war against the USA since 1979, using proxy* soldiers. (*See Hitler, Sudetenland, Czechoslovakia & Nazis: Arab admiration of…)

    Sincerely,

Isolated? Not as long as he has Twitter.

That’s why they seek to make it just another fake news outlet through censorship.

But when “they” censor The Donald, it’s war and they will find that his isolation does not preclude his action…as various hotspots in the world and so-called allies have and are finding out. Of course they never mention or tell any truth about that but when the bomb is dropped in their lap, they will understand.

I think DT has in fact decided that he can only depend on himself and to take the term Commander in Chief for what it is…a singular not plural term, and he is indeed taking decisive unilateral command, call it isolation if you will, it works.

    Oh, yeah!
I just smiled thinking that all of those Swamp Creatures knew that Hillary was supposed to win.

There is so much more to say.

… I like the actions better.

The rule of law is in the process of returning. It takes time to apply the law.

Push and vote for non RINO Republicans in the primaries. Time to reap / reep (From Middle Dutch rep, reep, from Old Dutch reip, rēp, from Proto-Germanic *raipaz (“rope, cord, band, ringlet”), from Proto-Indo-European *roypnós (“strap, band, rope”). Cognate with Low German Reep, German Reif (“ring, hoop”), West Frisian reap, English rope, and Icelandic reipi (“rope”).) the RINOS.
They are beginning to smell real bad once the swamp lowering exposes them.

  • NotYetInACamp

yup. Donald pulled the drapes out of the archives / storage. He chose them it is said.
Commenting on the past choices, maybe? 🙂
I could not pull up the pictures from here past the internet. they said he chose a gold drape. The owned press also was trying to subtly attack the President. Just on fulfilling their main duty to the deep state, of course.

  • NotYetInACamp

And Mr. President, you cannot use Trump One anymore. No matter how advanced and comfortable it is. You must use Air Force One.
And you must use the Oval Office.
And the Senate must approve your choices for many of these important hires.
And entire levels and sections of government are immune from questioning or ordering to act, and levels are immune from firing.
    Hm.
