    Or is it stoopidity?

Greta’s ignorance via her parents and other shrill voices is at least equal to Skye.
Her desire to eliminate oil which is the reason that in 2019 we achieved 90% of the world not starving to death. Trucks, tractors, pesticides, fertilizers and all the other food production enhancers.
Oh Wait! Maybe that is it.

No they don’t want starving people. They want total ownership of oil, real estate, and labor. They will squeeze as much out of that as they can for the rulers. When the side effect of starving people happen, the only thing that is left is labor and they turn everybody into slaves. Taken to its logical conclusion, the despots will start eating each other. Never reached that because the people rise up before that happens. Eventually, they’ll try it again. People never learn

I have a relative by marriage that is much like Skye. Thankfully, she has no children. Her most recent side-hustle was as member of a marijuana cultivation “collective” in the local mountains. The gendarmerie took a dim view of same, and snagged their crop 2 weeks prior to cut & market prep. The “collectivists” (their term) all got tickets and court dates. Not long after that, winds blew through and destroyed their PVC-pipe-and-visqueen greenhouses. being a crook is such a tough job.

And like seen with Bernie’s gulag aficionados, some libs also want a government that will be the vengeful parent who will extract bloody payment from those who would hurt their children with terrible acts like telling them to get a haircut and get a real job.

Greta’s a prime example of child abuse. So well indoctrinated by her parents and their friends, she fell into a emotional panic that may have caused her mental illness and self-starvation – it stunted her growth to that of an undernurished 12 year old, at 16. It had to effect her mental state, her so-called parents should be horse-whipped.

We need to stop burning all carbon based power sources and then start taking the excess CO2 and methane out of the atmosphere and the oceans to remove the acid build up from hydro-carbon bonding with the water to produce carbonic acid which are eating the life of the oceans away and killing the reefs. We have long past our time to switch away from it. Should have gotten the wake up call in the 1970’s. We have time as long as the sun is quiescent and cool. We are heating when we should be warming.

While you’re at it, be aware that a “quiescent, cool” sun is one that is not supplying enough radiant energy to keep this planet out of an ice age. See “Maunder Minimum” and “Dalton Minimum”, plus International Solar Year 1964-65 “The Year of the Quiet Sun”.

That was the “wake up call” that the eco-fanatics have been ignoring for six decades.

You want another real wake up call. The Oroville Dam should have been replaced decades ago with a concrete one. The water level keeps getting reduced forestall a rupture. When it goes go, Sacramento will be wiped out in less than 3 hours. The water will continue further down and take out a section of Interstate 5. Not to mention the lives of over 2 million people ~ it took 3 days to evacuate the last time there was a “problem with water leakage”. The crop losses will be catastrophic as well as the additional damages and carnage. Not So Newsome is limiting water usage per household person to 50 gallons a day. It’s a $1000 fine is you go over the daily allotment.

      an intelligent child
Citing facts not in evidence. As a matter of fact, all the evidence we have is that she is nothing more than full of spite and heavily propagandized.

if she was all for oil and guns and Bibles
If she was actually intelligent about it, perhaps. But we (not everyone who claims to be “on the right”) don’t use children as our propaganda props and human shields.

We need to stop burning all carbon based power sources
You don’t understand energy storage density, obviously. Especially when you need portable energy. (Batteries really don’t even come close.)

taking the excess CO2 and methane out of the atmosphere
Define “excess”? Because I don’t think you or the climate alarmist ‘leaders’ have any idea what the ideal range of CO2 in the atmo is.

Should have gotten the wake up call in the 1970’s.
Well, yes, we should have. Then some idiots (who happen to be propagandists now for the same baloney you believe) made a couple of movies that scared people away from nuclear power, and we were stuck with fossil fuels for a while longer.
Oh, and solar power had about 1% efficiency in the 70s. It couldn’t provide more than token power. Even with its efficiency way up in 2020, it still can’t provide sufficient power for modern society.

We are heating when we should be warming.
      Huh?

We are cooking … our planet.
You need to have more faith in your god, Gaia. She’s a sturdy gal who rebounds pretty quickly – often faster than her admirers think. She handles volcanoes, nuclear accidents, ocean-spanning storms, and even acidic water with great aplomb.

(Funny, isn’t it, that the same people (often) who think the earth can’t handle our puny little efforts at despoiling her ALSO think that minorities can’t handle themselves without these folks controlling things. Coincidence? Nah.)

How does one manufacture solar panels and batteries I wonder? High carbon footprint. And what is their lifespan I wonder? It’s all a trade off, no free lunch as they say. I’d like to see us handle waste better. An o buoys choice is for all packaging to be made of recycled material, and to be minimalist, and to be recycled. After all, packaging is intended to be discarded. People would lose their minds if they had to manage their own waste. Landfills are a poor choice for maintaining drinking water quality. So start with *less* packaging.

I think we are on the correct road to a self sustaining environment. Our U.S. population is slowly shrinking and we’re doing a lot to clean up our country. The huge problem and the pure destruction of this plan is the democrats want to expand our population with illegals. Build the wall, get rid of the illegals, stop the drugs and slowly lower our population. Put the welfare people to work cleaning things up whether it’s sorting trash from valuable elements or cleaning the litter. Let the leftists kill their offspring up to the third trimester.

They Want electricity. They Want running water. They Really want our A.C. Sewers that work and all the other pleasures of advanced living.
AND the fact is: the Third World produces the most pollution and speaking of that, China is a huge producer.
