Just One.
Deplorable Day is Coming.

Well that’s a start, but the rot and the danger go way deeper than that…

Immediately after Joe Biden went on national television to call for a ban on semi-automatic rifles and other unconstitutional measures, Senator Lindsey Graham declared:

“I stand ready to vote on ALL the proposals mentioned by President Biden tonight and encourage the Democratic Leader to bring them forward for votes.”

Hate that little faggot. And there’s a bunch of them with R’s after their names; the evil is not limited to the D’s.

    • June 4, 2022 at 12:14 pm

I’m inclined to agree with your sentiments on Lindsey Graham. However, if I thought he was any bit shrewd, he might be setting the Dems up for real exposure on how they want to destroy the 2nd amendment. He said he would vote on those measures, but it could very well be NO. Perfect for the elections coming up. But I don’t think that is the case.

      • June 4, 2022 at 3:44 pm

Unfortunately he’s made his true colors known and his record preceeds him.

    by Rudyard Kipling

It was not part of their blood,
It came to them very late,
With long arrears to make good,
When the Saxon began to hate.

    They were not easily moved,
They were icy — willing to wait
Till every count should be proved,
Ere the Saxon began to hate.

Their voices were even and low.
Their eyes were level and straight.
There was neither sign nor show
When the Saxon began to hate.

It was not preached to the crowd.
It was not taught by the state.
    No man spoke it aloud
When the Saxon began to hate.

    It was not suddently bred.
    It will not swiftly abate.
    Through the chilled years ahead,
When Time shall count from the date
That the Saxon began to hate.

Kipling puts it so well. They may want to watch out for this one as well

The Gods of the Copybook Headings
      –Rudyard Kipling

As I pass through my incarnations in every age and race,
I make my proper prostrations to the Gods of the Market-Place.
Peering through reverent fingers I watch them flourish and fall,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings, I notice, outlast them all.

We were living in trees when they met us. They showed us each in turn
That Water would certainly wet us, as Fire would certainly burn:
But we found them lacking in Uplift, Vision and Breadth of Mind,
So we left them to teach the Gorillas while we followed the March of Mankind.

We moved as the Spirit listed. They never altered their pace,
Being neither cloud nor wind-borne like the Gods of the Market Place,
But they always caught up with our progress, and presently word would come
That a tribe had been wiped off its icefield, or the lights had gone out in Rome.

With the Hopes that our World is built on they were utterly out of touch.
They denied that the Moon was Stilton; they denied she was even Dutch.
They denied that Wishes were Horses; they denied that a Pig had Wings.
So we worshipped the Gods of the Market Who promised these beautiful things.

When the Cambrian measures were forming, They promised perpetual peace.
They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.
But when we disarmed They sold us and delivered us bound to our foe,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: “Stick to the Devil you know.”

On the first Feminian Sandstones we were promised the Fuller Life
(Which started by loving our neighbour and ended by loving his wife)
Till our women had no more children and the men lost reason and faith,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: “The Wages of Sin is Death.”

In the Carboniferous Epoch we were promised abundance for all,
      By robbing selected Peter to pay for collective Paul;
But, though we had plenty of money, there was nothing our money could buy,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: “If you don’t work you die.”

Then the Gods of the Market tumbled, and their smooth-tongued wizards withdrew,
And the hearts of the meanest were humbled and began to believe it was true
That All is not Gold that Glitters, and Two and Two make Four—
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings limped up to explain it once more.

As it will be in the future, it was at the birth of Man—
There are only four things certain since Social Progress began:—
That the Dog returns to his Vomit and the Sow returns to her Mire,
      And the burnt Fool’s bandaged finger goes wabbling back to the Fire;

And that after this is accomplished, and the brave new world begins
When all men are paid for existing and no man must pay for his sins,
As surely as Water will wet us, as surely as Fire will burn,
The Gods of the Copybook Headings with terror and slaughter return![8]

      Zar Belk!

      • June 4, 2022 at 11:52 am

Far be it from me to go TL;DR on Kipling, but…

“If you don’t work you die.”

That says it all, and if we don’t get back to that our fate is sealed.

Ayuh; they are supposed to have Rights. All other lesser beings have privileges, and those are mainly revoked.

  • June 4, 2022 at 4:31 am

Of course, they rarely carry or use the guns themselves. As the Duke said to Ed Asner in El Dorado (1967)

Jason, I see you don’t carry a gun. So I guess you always hire it done.

The left always uses “hired guns”. It’s part of why they always demand more money.

Quite aside from their own greed and power lust, those hired guns want to be paid. And they won’t always work just for the promise of loot.

Yup. If this game was not entirely one-sided and enforced as such, it would be not allowed to even start, or designated “teh most terrible thing evar!!1” of the week if it somehow did.

  • June 4, 2022 at 7:46 am

I’ve been suggesting this to my Congressmen and Senators since 1981. Taxes should be apportioned the same way as well. The more you want the more you pay.

  • June 4, 2022 at 8:37 am

War talk. Let’s use the ballot box first. November should provide a respite from the current spasm of extremist cramps. If not, stand by for heavy rolls as the ship comes about.

I have been saying for the last couple of years if the dems want gun control, then they should be the ones who should be banned from the use of those guns. No democrat, liberal or leftist should be allowed to own, rent, borrow or be in close proximity to any firearm with heavy penalties such as life imprisonment. The dem party is completely out of control with burning cities, racism, sexism and murder.

    • June 4, 2022 at 10:16 am

How odd for the Dimocrats to turn a blind eye to their crowning achievement in gun control.

Ah, but they’ve got their crowning achievement in NYC to boast of … oh, wait

  • June 4, 2022 at 8:43 am

I always say that you can reduce crime by over 90% if you take guns away from Democrats and the mentally ill (but I repeat myself)! LOL

    • June 4, 2022 at 9:38 am

Of course many of those mentally ill would presently be institutionalized…if those same Democrats hadn’t forced the deinstitutionalization of the mentally ill and the closing of mental institutions decades ago.

Today the delusional roam the streets…and the halls of academia…and the halls of power. They also demand that we feed their delusions of adequacy by pretending their delusions are part of the real world.

They shouldn’t be near anything that can be used to harm or kill people, including guns, sharp objects, political office, the voting booth, etc..

      • June 4, 2022 at 1:29 pm

They shouldn’t be around children either.

“Today the delusional roam the streets, and the halls of academia, and the halls of power, and they demand that we feed their delusions of adequacy by pretending their delusions are part of the real world.”

That’s about it in a nutshell, so to speak. Yet we continue to waste logic and reason on the deluded and the full-on criminally insane and homicidal, when the only effective treatment is imprisonment and/or death.

That middle box, the ballot, has one more chance in November. If it fails once again there is no alternative and no time to waste to move to box number three, as make no mistake, genocidal war is being actively waged against us.

Chris, I have whined before about the loss of the website sign-in for commenters which enabled a hotlink by hovering on the name, and it looks like it ain’t coming back. But one widget many have whined for for years and it seems the revamping of the format is the time to do it, is an edit button for comments, maybe one that only lasts a few hours? I can live without it, but I and I think many, would like the chance to look less illiterate sometimes?

    • June 4, 2022 at 11:53 am

I do comments on a ‘word document’, proofread, think about it awhile, revise, then copy/paste. Still glad y’all are fluent in typo.

Ugh. Way more effort and organization than I would put into top-of-mind spur-of-moment edge-of-eruption blathering…just gimme a damn edit button!

  • June 4, 2022 at 9:18 pm

Seems every day just gets more unreal than the day before. Ol Slo Joe comes out with worse and worse ideas that could lead to war.
Obviously, the cabal putting ideas forth through him and his ability to F them up, doesn’t bother them at all. Were flirtin’ with disaster.
