    Reality?… Am I Right?

Whoever said that the “Winged Rats” who are pigeons were ever dumb?

Life can be cruel to the R-2000.

    And ironically fitting, too.

And such as these will evolve into our once and future Cylons?

    “Statuesque”.

Mostly used in reference to tall, built women like that buxom blond Cylon in NYIAC’s link, but okay here it applies for the flying rats to know what to do.

Could also be more of a political statement by them directed at Ahhnold rather than Tuhminatuh though. He is pretty stiff and shitty.

I prefer the former, no shit.

But are the shitty squab, or rven the mobile statue containing of consciousness or sentience? What is really going on. Did the statuesque blonde in the clip feel the kiss she gave the human in the opening scene of BSG before the entire peace space station meeting and conference location was destroyed. When will we say that they really think and know? When will they start directing our politics? To say the least of that which they might start to control. And what are squab politics?

        Can’t conflate instinct and reason.

Like it says up there “…pigeons just know” And they do. If they had to think about it, they’d never get their sittin’ and shittin’ done. They just consult the onboard program God gave them and do what it says.

So why didn’t God just give us a data chip like the rest of His creatures? Then everything would take care of itself.

Because sitting around on the shoulders of history and crapping on it instead of learning from it won’t save what us…God expects us to make our own way and to care for what He gave us dominion over. He expects us to work it out with the ‘bots too…maybe AI will be something like instinct. But us to whom He gave the power and curse of self-determination? Step by step, piece by piece, decision by decision, we either end up in gridlock or we find solutions to keep moving in one direction or the other…and to remember to ask Him for help when we really really need it and our logic and our reason is not enough.

He wants us to work for it. Because God ain’t no progressive.
