It’s been a long time since I watched “The Matrix” so what the heck does “There is no spoon.” mean?
kadaka
Jan 23 2019 at 1:00 am
The spoon is not real, everything is a computer-generated illusion, thus in reality the spoon does not exist. There is no spoon.
In related concepts, support keeps growing that we really are in some sort of simulation, not “hard” reality. (Q: But how can they simulate an entire universe? A: They don’t have to, like with video games you only have to directly generate what is experienced, everything else can just be numbers.) Some think we’re in a holographic universe, 2D info projected as 3D. The math works better that way.

Read pretty much anything by Philip K. Dick. 🙂
A lot of people are under the misimpression that the world is an illusion, and that we live in The Matrix. This is false.
The truth is that the world is a hellucination, and we live in The Onion.
Meh. Chasing that path is a waste of energy. The only life you can live is the one you’re in, and the only actions that you can make matter are the ones you take in the here and now.
Doesn’t matter if there’s a multiverse, doesn’t matter if reality is fabricated, doesn’t matter if the universe is a holograph.
You have one life you can prove, you have the sure knowledge that you’ll die someday, and no matter what’s behind the curtain, you have just the instant in which you’re alive to make your life matter to yourself and others.
The math doesn’t change the way you experience your life, or the value you choose to give it.
No, there ARE victims in America. But not the ones they claim. They are not victims by virtue of their color or class or sex, nor even by their chosen sex/sexuality.
There are real individual victims. They get hurt every day by societal predators – neighborhood, corporate, governmental, terrorists. Sometimes because they’re black or gay or a woman. But usually just because they’re in the sights of the predator.

Would it be possible to alter the website code such that when an imbedded link is selected it opens in a new tab? David Codrea’s “The War On Guns” blog site does that and it is mighty nice to just click on a link and it open in a new tab. Admittedly it’s no big deal to hold down the ctrl and shift keys when selecting a link but it’d be nice not to have to remember to hold down those two keyswhen doing so.

Jan 23 2019 at 9:47 am
What references? Moreno Valley and Thermal Station, or the Matrix and the Spoon?
I think you and GWB above actually agree with Damon’s real point.
You are saying and Damon knows too that there are indeed individual victims -many of the ones y’all reference are victims of disarmament too, allowing their victimhood on the street- and of course they are real. But that’s a whole ‘nother thing than what we’re seeing in the bizarro world of leftism. Individuals are of no interest or value to them, they operate wholesale…and I think Damon is saying their created victim “classes” only exist in their narrative and for their benefit in all of media, entertainment, education, and of course congress…everywhere except the real world.
There is no spoon but they have no trouble getting many or most to see it anyway. And now because they got so publicly outed in this little episode of stirring up some shit with lies, they now claim class status of victimhood themselves, all-in like I said above.
And this might finally be enough to let many see that their whole production is all a lie, not only that there is no spoon but that there is no there there at all, but an agenda to obstruct or preferably destroy the inconvenient reality of Deplorableism that they hate so much and that is so frustrating their grand plan to hand over the world to their masters,
May the methods of deception they embrace, claiming against others what they themselves inflict, will this time be turned around again, a hat trick of narrative and tactical reversal…Alinsky would be proud.

The more such attacks as this are exposed, the stronger the realist become. Alinsky turned on them by identifying them, exposing them, demonizing them with the truth, then ridicule them.
Doing Alinsky tactics using truth and good as the limitations results the truth setting us free and great power, and maybe the win.
Any good act that brings the win is great. The turn around and reversal for the win for the USA will be wonderful.

The media has shown that they will go all-in to support the Red Hat Bad message, and support any attack on any and all Trump supporters who publicly identify as such.
Meanwhile, the Mueller Infestation, er, Investigation grinds on. Any real findings would have been leaked by now. I fail to believe that it has any real purpose outside of driving people away from the idea of working in the Trump Administration.
They seem to be overreaching, but will something snap? One person writing about the possible lawsuit pointed at the difficulty of a public person suing for libel. That would be utter insanity; libel someone to the point that they’re publicly know and then say no lawsuit can go because they’re a public person?
