    Too Tall

    Ugarte (Peter Lorre) in Casablanca had far more integrity, decency, and goodness than all of the Progtards of today combined.

    Way past time to round up the usual suspects.

    No.

    I prefer to cede their nazi enclaves to them and purge them from my land.

    If necessary I will fight them to the death.

    But I won’t run and hide.

    (Pretty damn cool, that 180-degree perspective switch of the girls Chris!)

      I prefer my father’s generation solution. Either purge them from existence, or to Argentina.

        But your Daddy nor mine ever had to face them in our own backyard…or in our own gov or in our own military.

        An offer in compromise as it were, to give them clear title to what they already have and have made unfit for free citizenry; walled-in cities like East Berlin where they can rule their slaves and live the high life of absolute rule and supremacy…until they have used everything and everybody up.

        And by then our own sovereign state, reborn from the resolve of 1776 and the ashes of 1865, will have established its own administration, its own management, and its own military, to replace for us the ones of the currently and increasingly disunited states.

        That is the peaceful path to civil separation, and the only path that avoids terrible bloody conflict. But be that as it may, and regardless of the sacrifice required, I ain’t running to South America or anywhere else. Give me my liberty here and now, or give me death with honor.

      And yes they “flea’ed” to Argentina, largely around Buenos Aires, and did so much for and with the place…

      Don’t know how even the fabulous wealth of The Don can insulate from their influence, and the last thing he and they need is a whole new batch of nazi’s that will show those old 40’s ones how evil is really done. Just leave them in San Fran and Chicago and N’Yawk and of course DC, let them finish what they started. And any that escape or leak out…well, death will become them.

    Here the American Workers tend mostly to be the Nationalists.
    The Socialists prefer to not work or not hard as they are Fascists now and becoming Communists. They may not like what happens when they try harder. This isn’t Casablanca in 1942.

    Something for Chris to look at and any Barflies here can post the pertinent bits, but there is some discussion as to who will be the scapegoat when the Mar-a-Lago raid explodes in the face of Biden-Harris. Seems a senior Official peripherally involved was escorted out FBI HQ;

      It’s not all 60 years of Chinook production, only the CH-47F, which was introduced 21 years ago with more powerful engines. Apparently the Army got some replacement o-rings that were out-of-spec. The helicopters from the factory or with factory overhauls are fine, but when Army techs had to pull a new o-ring from Army supplies, the engine might develop a fuel leak and catch fire, which could develop into a serious problem if finding a safe landing spot takes too long. If there was a major war going on, I suspect the Army brass would have decided to keep ’em flying and tell the crews and techs to watch closely for leaks until they can change the o-rings from a fresh supply that is known good.

      But it’s peaceful enough at the moment that they can use an excess of caution and ground the birds while they figure things out. This has happened many times with most models of both military and civilian aircraft. Counterfeit parts like screws and o-rings have been a common problem through the whole aircraft industry for decades; some suppliers find it cheaper to fake the paperwork than to get parts that are actually made from the correct (and expensive) materials with the correct (and expensive) processes, or to do all the QA inspections needed to ensure they’re the right size in all dimensions, etc.
