Words do have meaning. That’s why right-thinking people need to push back hard each time so-called “progressives” (aka cultural marxists) try to “evolve” the language by changing the meaning of well-understood words in ways that sew division and force their evil agenda.

And, yes, their agenda is evil incarnate.

Progressive word meaning shift is legion. As in bad.
Now evil is demanded to be praised and exalted and participated in.

That there agenda is so obviously (to many) what it is makes it easy for those on both sides to choose.

Be the man or woman not seig heiling in the crowd doing so.

    Irish comic Dave Allen once had this on his BBC-TV show Dave Allen at Large;

A friend of mine told me he was emigrating to Canada. When I asked him why, he said,

“In this country a couple of hundred years ago, homosexuality was a hanging offense.

“A hundred years ago, the penalty was flogging and heavy fines.

“Fifty years ago, the fines were smaller.

    “Today, there aren’t even fines.

“I’m leaving before they make it obligatory.”

If you remember Mark Twain’s Huckleberry Finn, it works like the Professor’s “Royal Nonesuch” show. The idea being to force “buy-in” from everybody so no one dares to criticize.

    The consequences are never good.

T.H. White had a bit of this in the “Once and Future King.”

      EVERYTHING NOT FORBIDDEN IS COMPULSORY

As I recall, the protagonist left this encounter with a dim view of socialist, centrally-controlled political systems.

The problem with mixing politics with religious beliefs is that it makes it allowable for the Left to do the same – they can thus religiously “believe in” Socialism and “believe in” Climate Extinction or 57 genders or Our Lightbringer or The Russian Hoax and not be held responsible for their utter refusal to face empirical data (“Believe!!!”). From a policy perspective, it seems to me a most counterproductive way for the Right to gain ground.

But religion is not politics…except of course in Islam.

And it’s not about gaining ground. It is a personal decision and bond between an individual and God. Everybody else is on their own.

Unless you equate religion with church. That’s where the “business” and “racket” aspects that and I discussed above come in.

Follow God to find religion and salvation.

Or follow the money to find the church, politics and corruption.

But Progressives have been skipping steps, staring at the 14th Amendment and others, declaring hitherto-unknown rights that were always there, therefore they are legal and must legally be tolerated, and if in your dealings you refuse to demonstrate acceptance then you shall be punished. Abortion, gay marriage, preschooler free access to contraception and clean needles, whatever.

From Reuters: “A new electric-powered concept fire truck, called the CFT, has been unveiled in California, with hopes that it will replace traditional diesel fire engines”

Because it’s unthinkable that houses can burn when and where a field of solar panels can’t recharge this brute, that would need another truck to haul its portable panels and/or a backup generator. But it’s accepted that to save the planet Sacrifices Must Be Made.

Doesn’t CA burn up a bunch of houses each year already? I’m convinced more each day that our self proclaimed saviors are actually the facilitators of what they claim to be saving us from.
I understand that’s simply evil, but apparently that’s what they are. Is there any proof to the contrary?
