Have you ever noticed that the people who are obsessed with telling you what to do for your “health” all look like they already have one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel?

Levine and Fauci. I rest my case.

I would have to say that the rake shed is as normal as the Cleaver Family when put up in comparison to the US Department of Health and Human Services.

HHS, along with countless other government agencies, are veritable freak shows.

The carnivals seem to have gone away but who needs them anyhow?!? Just visit virtually any government office, DMV, or health department and you will see the carnival side shows of the past in live time and right before your very eyes …

The only thing missing is the carnival barker on a soapbox urging you to go into the tent so you can have your temperature taken by the bearded woman.

Miss the old carnies. My brother-in-law heads the local county fair. More family origiented. But still with rides, games of chance and fair food, But, no more hootchie kootchie or freak shows, I like to walk the midway and enjoy the the lights. Them, dine on fair food — usually Polish sausage, This year, Italian sausage.

It wears a USN uniform with the rank of … get this … Admiral!

But … yes the uniform is for the USPHS many of whose licensed medical people are considered to be in the USNR. I used to work with some of these folks years ago before I retired. The USPHS are issued naval officer uniforms along with Naval Reserve ID cards too.

Love me a quonset…damn near bought an acre lot I didn’t need years ago just because of the awesome quonset hut on it…is there a better building type for wind resistance and longevity?

Theoretically geodesic domes are stronger, but in practice, like the couple dozen domes built in the 70’s in my Florida county by Mr. Yacaboni from Pennsylvaia (hence the name Yaca-dome) are just too problematic; maybe owing to the very mathematical components that give them that strength, but also because of acceptance; the very cool multi dome home that sits on an acre of golf course frontage at the end of my cul de sac that after changing hands a few years ago is now used as a seasonal rental until the new owners are ready to retire and move here from Miami, is right next door to an upscale house that is on the market for 750K by a doctor who moved to the coast, and may be why it is unsold after several months.

I have told many people over the years that when the Big One comes, all the expensive homes on the street might blow away but that dome will still be there; but even that can’t overcome the ugly in people’s minds I guess.

But anyway, even though some of those same issues may apply, give me a well built, well assembled quonset any day…and not just for rakes! That would freak out the HOA!

    Yes. Semi-weird.
Criminal is now mandated. Thank you, Nancy. You are a key part. Though your spinning plates may soon come crashing to earth.
Those the normal people would historically consider traitors, perverts, or a minority to let live their own lives have become heralded, acclaimed, and held out for emulation, forced if needed, for all. If a man does not want to have sex with that historically mentally ill person, that man is ostracized, fired, criminally or civilly prosecuted or worse if in the wrong woke jurisdiction.
And our government and corporate and cultural power and influence has been used to spread such destructive policies around the world in areas American Culture has had influence. This aint sending the UK Beatles and Back in the USSR to the USSR, baby.
Everybody better demand the elections be on a paper ballot that limits those voting to have valid sufficient identification, with th valid count on be those that are hand counted with sufficient safeguards.
Don’t even get me started on criminal Soros supported type prosecutors. Prosecutorial discretion means D types go free and R and C types languish or rot in jail without bail with no hearing set.

Gotta protect the big Pharma and big business and big government requirements.

How to properly change his abomination our new normal has become is still a major question. Make sure the peaceful overwhelming has strength and correct constitutional and legal force lined up and applied judiciously. Understand that the other side has no such limitations. The leading and set ups like 1/6 must not be permitted to occur again. Surrounding the Capitol Building with the people keeping a mile or 1/2 mile away from, the building engaging in controlled ebullience and partying about the USA while demanding the Constitutionally required actions be taken concerning the November election be followed, may have achieved the goal without the democrats pulling off their distraction.
Again, I will say that the US Constitution required protocol was not followed during the Presidential elector’s election.
If Pence had only a clerical requirement that he only open and count the ballots (I disagree with his assessment), then the various states elections can be Constitutionally challenged, and proper Constitution actions taken to get a correct Constitutional determination of the electors. Upon that determination, the courts, clerks, legislatures, or Supreme Court can enter those electors nuc pro tunc with the Constitutionally determined numbers. The traditional ancient power means now as then. It is a correction of a clerical error which is within the power of that
    legal method.
The republicans again revealed their lack of conviction and strategy for the most part on 1/6. President Trump meant well, but his electoral win was subverted by fraud and deception that was executed to keep Nancy and Company in power. Most people want and expect (mostly) honest elections. That is why it is easy to distract the people enough for dishonest elections to occur.

Just like in the Monty Python “The Life of Brian” movie, it is OK for that man to think that he is a woman and call himself a woman, but it is wrong to force anyone else to have to say that he is anything different than what facts say. (Is he XXY? that might be at issue)
A citizen voting one ballot is a fact that does not change by counting multiple ballots that relate back to no discreet citizen voting just once.
A ballot is not a vote unless it is proven to be the single vote of a citizen.

Well that’s about four solid solid comments in one, but none more solid than this:

“…paper ballot that limits those voting to have valid sufficient identification…”

That is really all it takes to “right” this foundering (sinking) ship of state…

      Therefore, ain’t gonna happen.

What really freaked GoF**kM out was when someone pointed out that by checking the “dispute claim” box on their bank’s account record of the transaction, contributors could OK their banks to file a claim with GFM. Which would cost GFM a $15 processing fee for each individual claim.

If even ten per cent of the people they tried to stiff did that, GFM would have been out roughly 3X as much money as they tried to “redirect”.

Even an organization their size is going to notice a $20M+ “bite”. As Insp. Callahan once said, that’s a very high price to pay for being stylish.

eon, I have got to be missing something. Could you break down that math for me?

I had said before their actions should be held as criminal, but one way or the other I am glad about the comeuppance.

As to “processing” though, wouldn’t you think they would just go ahead and send the peoples’ money where they intended in one lump rather than the nightmare “process”, monetary and otherwise, of individual refunds? Or maybe that’s just too embarrassing, which has a certain karma to it doesn’t it?

Also, how much future business will their hysterical attempted signalling cost them? Can none of these fucking leftist peeps and orgs not understand the meaning of HALF of the people pool? Damn.

      • February 5, 2022 at 10:09 pm

What incredible evil within the “media”…from Reuters:

“Protesters have shut down downtown Ottawa, the Canadian capital, for eight days now, with some participants waving Confederate or Nazi flags and some saying they wanted to dissolve Canada’s government. To the increasing fury of residents, Ottawa police have largely stood by and watched as some protesters smashed windows, threatened reporters and health-care workers, and abused racial minorities.”

Just blatant, nasty, racist, classist lies. Maybe they need their accounts frozen.

      • February 5, 2022 at 11:58 pm

And again, DeSantis is on it…

“The governor of the state of Florida said on Saturday it was fraud for GoFundMe to “commandeer” $9m in donations sent to support protesting truck drivers in Canada and he will investigate what he called “deceptive practices” by the website.”

Absolutely no doubt that played into the reversal of the theft…dude’s a bulldog.
