    “When”, indeed. That Document further states, in part [with emphasis mine]:

    “That, whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends [Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness], it is THE RIGHT of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles, and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness.
    . . . .

    “But, when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object, evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is THEIR RIGHT, it is THEIR DUTY, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security.”

    The time is long past when a Convention of States should have been convened- – – – -not to amend or replace the current Constitution, but to reaffirm the allegiance of “We The People” to the existing one. If that must be done by “refreshing the tree of Liberty”- – – – -so be it!

    I give us less than 5 years and it’s gonna hit the fan, when it does…. It’s gonna make the first civil war look like childs play.

      I recently shared a video from April, 2009, of the Tea Party rally my late wife had, for the most part, organized herself. (She’d located and contacted about a dozen likeminded people through various online groups at the time. We met in March and had the rally five or six weeks later).
      It was comprised of about 2000 people who showed up at the Louisiana State Capitol around noon on a Wednesday.
      The Tea Party’s across the country sprang up from the people, for the most part, due to fears they had what the election of Barak Obama might bring.
      Now the party of Brandon is fulfilling those fears and far more/worse.
      Where the fuck is the Tea Party now?

    We need to take these words to heart. For too long we have watched public “servants” to become millionaires on a salary that comes nowhere near that level. And the sources of their income need a close scrutiny followed by a relentless prosecution. Political dynasties need to be ended, as does the practice of filling positions vacated by death with the wife or other family members of the late official.

      I read it and forgot to save it. Maybe some one else has it. One man bought one hundred thousand covid test kits for a dollar a piece. The US Govt., bought 4-5 hundred million covid test kits from the same Chinese company and spent 1.3 Billion dollars. Most people get a much lower price for larger quantities.
      There’s No Telling Where The Money Went.
