    Nice truck.

On that side of politics, you are very often rewarded for failure.
The more spectacular the failure, and the more people that buy into it as it fails, the bigger your reputation, and compensation.

    You could become an icon.

I was told that there was a talent to selling, while warning that the product is a chrome-plated turd. The “True-Belivers” can’t see the deerper message but normals get the content big time.

Gotta be slick about the pitch, however. Not a task for the faint-hearted.

The majority of Dims know full well that the party is little more than a crime syndicate with no legitimate claim to power. And, thanks to TDS, they’re OK with that. But a salvageable minority is realizing this for the first time and I suspect the extent of this exodus of former Democrats is going to shock a lot of people on November 4..

It’s debatable whether they even care any more. The Democratic “coalition” of today consists of a self-anointed “enlightened elite'” and an illiterate, racist mob. Both of which seek to eradicate anybody and everybody they hate, which is pretty much everybody else in civilization.

      Followed by erasing civilization itself.

Is Jan looking to try to sell BLM a campaign calling them an organization with small town values? It would be great counter-propaganda, showing what they claim for themselves vs. what we’ve seen that they are. Meanwhile, they have decided that they were a bit too explicit about what they want:

A striking viginette of the ethos of the modern dhimpcrapt was presented on Breitbart by Whoopi Goldberg. She was complaining about the taxed paid by the rich, such as DJT, upset her. She told us that her mother used to cry because she couldn’t find the money to pay her taxes. This shows the ethos of the hollywood rich. Her mother fed her and sheltered he, educated her, and even bought her toys, but that didn’t count! Whoopi’s money was Whoopi’s money, not her mothers. All Ms Goldberg had to do was hand her mother a few bucks, or write her a check, and she could have taken this load off her mother. However Whoopi, like the rest of the librul left, didn’t owe her mother anything. It was Orange-man-bad’s fault (despite he wasn’t president at the time). Besides, the republicans are ALL rich and should pay her mother’s taxes.

The real objective of the UN’s Agenda 21 is to get all humans relocated into giant, walled megacities, outside of which there is wilderness that no one is allowed to enter.
Hong Kong is an example of that: pretty on the outside, looks great from a distance, but in reality, the city is mostly a slum.
The intention is to reduce the human population to 1 billion or less. I want to know how the people proposing mean to force Russia and China and other countries to follow that agenda.
Megalomania is not a pretty thing.

Neither is such a megacity. See The World Inside by Robert Silverberg.

Progressives can’t understand why SF readers aren’t on their side. After all, they’re The Future, according to them.

The reason is simple; as readers of “speculative fiction”, we’ve seen their imagined Utopias before- as authors worked out the implications.

And even philosophically “liberal” writers, like Harry Harrison and Dallas McCord “Mack” Reynolds, ended up acknowledging that the various “Radiant Futures” just didn’t work, and that there was no way to make them work.

SFans tend to be moderate conservative or actual “libertarian” because however good socialism feels to those who dream of running it, it fails miserably in actual practice.

And always ends up killing a lot of inno0cent people. either from neglect, ineptitude, or the leaders’ need to maintain their rule by terror- or just because they get off on the bloodshed.

Speculations, like facts, are stubborn things. If the speculator is honest about it.

OT but topical, had a short phone chat yesterday with NYIAC after he moved to high ground there at his Jurassic place to get connected, gist of it was to see if he wants to watch the entertainment at Casa JTC tonight, and based on certain discussions here by DBD’s pretty amazing contributing audience, speculating on whether high-ranking eyes ever view, absorb, and implement any of it, as let’s face it, the R pols and peeps ain’t the brightest idea guys. One specifically somebody here a few days ago had the flash of brilliance that Donald should deflect the first question with a quick aside to Dopey Joe about his boy’s influence peddling. Don’t know if Trump’s handlers caught it but apparently Biden’s did…see the big NYT taxes expose? Just about the perfect foil for the ChiCom payoffs to Joe via his boy the bagman…Purely coincidental timing I’m sure.

Oh, and they laughed off DT’s call for drug testing, ”you want to debate about urine, haha?” Yes Joe, yes we do. What you’re hiding in yours specifically. He won’t do it of course, but I think Trump still should get his done with a printout in hand right on stage (hey does that show testosterone levels? Circle that in red! 🙂 ) And then the question for Unca Joe becomes “why not you
    Joe?”

Not so funny now eh, you juiced-up bag of spray-tanned skin and bones?

Come on you half-assed White House flacks, pick up on this and get it done! It will be great, incredible, amazing, best debate gambit in the world! 🙂

It’s even simpler in Columbus OH. They just bus the disadvantaged from their subsidized housing to the polls and “help” them to “vote the right way”.

If anybody balks, they’re reminded how quick they could be declared ineligible for the housing and be out on the street.

There’s a reason Columbus has had a D city government about as long as Detroit. And it isn’t very much different.

A story I heard about 40 years ago told about a hard fought Texas primary involving two democrats (in a district usually won by the Democrat). After much infighting, name calling and the like, one candidate won with 130% of the vote to his opponents 120% of the vote.
