Orwell really nailed it, dinnt he?

      The leftists updated Orwell…

Diversity is Strength (except of thought)

    • DCE

No, DC Comics nailed it when their Superman comic book introduced Bizarro Earth. That’s more what I’m seeing, just with some Orwell thrown in for good measure.

      • Roland Deshain

I have used that comparison many times. We are living in Superman’s Bizarro world.

    • George O.

You need to replace “Hate is Love” with “Freedom is Slavery”.
Those are the three principles of Ingsoc.

  • NYIAC nailed it yesterday…

    Control perception and control reality.

    So Perception = Reality.

    Facts are irrelevant.

Even a blind pig finds the occasional truffle.

      Thank you.

Do I get my cargo now? 🙂

      • Zumkopf

I originally misread your comment as “Even a blind pog fires the occasional turtle.” Thought you were on to something there.

        • NotYetInACamp

          Wow! So many interpretations. Wow!

      • JTC

Just be careful that the cargo is not YOU.

  • NotYetInACamp

omg. I have had so many posts across the world expressing those and related sentiments and thoughts deleted and the account I have been using 9ften banned.
I also have had ideas that I expressed, rarely solely my own ideas, then become commonplace in those nations. Then The Big Censorship came to protect the Big Lie about the 2020 Insurrection and Big Lie about the 2020 Democrat Coup.
Big Censorship has grown so much that some of my past statements are likely criminal in the minds of cancel cultists across Europe and elsewhere.
, Yet the statements are but truthful.
I refer the original cargo cultists. AOC, Democrats, MMT advocates, BLM, Antifa, and more, are all modern day cargo cultist demanding that USA give them cargo. Many even claim mere attendance more than enough to be qualifies to receive the cargo owed to them.
Transylvania is part of historic Hungary and many in the region are Maygar, Romanian, German, and others..
Now Transylvania is part of Romania, and Prince Charles bought one of Count Dracul’s castles and stays there regularly, proudly claiming relation or descent.
America and the world all have examples of being a Rocky Horror.

    • Henry

“Prince Charles bought one of Count Dracul’s castles and stays there regularly, proudly claiming relation or descent.”

      Insert adenochrome witticism here…

      • eon

I don’t know what that is, but I do know that “Count Dracula” was a Victorian fantasy created by Bram Stoker.

The real Vlad Tepes was one of the trickiest and deadliest cavalry generals and guerrilla fighters in history, who gave the Turks (Islamics) nightmares for twenty years while perennially outnumbered- just never outclassed or outsmarted. They finally had to resort to having him murdered by his own brother to get rid of him.

As for the whole “Vlad the Impaler” thing, that was a terror tactic he learned from the Turks. So they didn’t have any room to complain.

The point is, as bad as a country’s situation is when it is so afflicted with a deranged, hostile “ruling class” that it ends up needing an Oliver Cromwell, one that is so beset by invaders, psychopathic “movements” and etc. that it needs a Vlad Tepes is far worse off.

We’re just about at the stage of needing the latter.

      It’s Anti-Soviet Agitation. But when everything is…

«Why did they drop Logic from school program under Khrushchev?»
      «Anti-Soviet Agitation!»
      «Hahahahaha!»

Since the American “comrades” already had certain areas of biology, physics and even math (Benford’s Law, at least on Facehug) banned, they are well and truly underway.

      • NotYetInACamp

Only topics Political Commissars use will be taught henceforth,
All those Trans Lit Majors needed jobs in social media censor corps.
That s why all of those degrees ib uselessness were required. Now the new PC Political commissar jobs can be filled with the brainwashed snowflakes. Benford’s Law defies Wokedom, by the way. All Truth defies Wokedom.

Didn’t the counter-counter-counter-coup attempt make them do U-turn in a day about unarmed protesters entering a government building?
So, the Brezhnevization is pretty much complete. Which, as Moldbug spotted right away, has the little problem of being intrinsically unfashionable: «it becomes utterly impossible for any cool person to support the government». The result of this was described by Voinovich: it became fashionable to be “a convinced monarchist”… among the very same sort of people who not a hundred years ago used to consider throwing bombs at the Czar very fashionable.
The subtle, but fatal result is that the promotion mechanism which selects for power only from lackeys of the previous holders of power… is now supported from both sides. Others won’t even apply if invited. No rare happy exceptions that could save the day.
Everyone promoted is a former yes-man, referent of an assistant, commissar wavering only with the General Line of Party, etc. Thus they all reflexively look up to someone and could only think like bureaucrats (in terms of covering their butts) — not a single dude trained as a professional decision maker. This condition happened in USSR (after Khruschev or so); it could only degrade and eventually destroy the entire thing, and did.

So, yes, they entered the stage of slow self-destruction. And it’s irreversible. For a while it’s going to stink, however. Been there, caught a whiff of that.

    • Zumkopf

You could not possibly be more wrong. The Republicans constantly point out Democratic hypocrisy. The Democrats’ strength is that they don’t care in the slightest about being hypocritical. To the extent they have any morals at all, they are entirely situational ethics. Whatever tactic is useful in the instant instance, whatever government agency can be brought to bear, whatever lives have to be ruined for them to seize and increase power, they will do it.

The GOPe thinks the Democrats are like them, only more liberal. They are wrong on both counts.

      • TBeholder

The Republicans constantly point out Democratic hypocrisy.

As did just about anyone who isn’t lazy on the internet, indeed.
The only non-negligible result this may sometimes achieve is devaluing the snake oil they sell to their clients: false sense of security, etc.

The Democrats’ strength is that they don’t care in the slightest about being hypocritical.

        In itself this matters little.
But in the above context it adds up to: having an “opposition” which constantly distracts itself on something they don’t care in the slightest about. Now, that is a strong asset, of course.

Having priorities straight internally (“it’s all about power” in the matter of taking and holding power) is a strength. Hypocrisy itself is not a weakness, mostly it’s just something they can afford.
The change is that the great fig leaf of hypocrisy with which they cover became too frayed and falls apart now. Unlike fig leaves, the King’s New Dress is a very fragile thing (as we know from an old tale). Acting like chimps in suits can still be “cool”, but also showing naked buttocks like monkeys, now that’s “uncool”.
The weakness is not in hypocrisy, nor in tantrums, but in leaving the throne for a tantrum.
“You cannot speak without respect about whichever pet I picked today” expresses some confidence in power, and breaching it isn’t really damaging. But “you cannot speak without respect about Me” expresses insecurity, and as such tend to invite exactly this.

Rose tinted glasses are no longer sufficient; 3D goggles and noise suppressing headphones are now required to keep away reality. Both with a feed from the DMC.

  • PCChaos

Someone please let me know when the Left breaks out the Hamilton Beach and starts in on their own. Meatloaf again? Then we can focus on making our nation better and regain some standing. Tell me it’ll happen soon.

The good part about the USA being exposed as the Rocky Horror Picture Show is that had the election not been allowed to be stolen, we’d have gone on to 2024 believing “America was made great again!” and not have understood the depth and extent of the Leftist-Mafia corruption, nor feel the urgency of removing it from every institution, from your local kindergarten to the Pentagon. Small consolation, I know..

  • My Way Or -->

“The snake is eating itself”. Told you it’s part of a cycle: Ouroboros (Jörmungandr in Norse mythology), the snake or dragon that swallows its own tail and therefore has no terminus. E.R. Eddison wrote “The Worm Ouroboros” in 1922.

The question is, since this part of the “cycle” (if you will) is made up of people in extreme hate – er, HASTE – sorry = extreme HASTE nearly tripping over their own feet to make “something” happen, how long will the cycle be? Are they even vaguely aware of those in “Outer Darkness”, who are waiting for them to scramble off a cliff, like walruses being chased by polar bears at a haulout?

Seriously, stock your pantries and freezers with everything you enjoy (especially popcorn) and keep score or do something like that. It’s five months into this election and these Idjits can’t even agree on how much money to print to bankrupt the country.

The general idiocy is amazing: shut down the XL Keystone pipeline: put people out of work deprive the Tribes of their investment. Gas prices go up, sort of. And then: cybercrooks shut down the east coast pipeline, causing massive fuel shortage and long lines at gas stations. Might as well be the Arab oil embargo all over again! Cybercrooks get $5 Big Ones, new equipment is installed, and gas at the pump goes up again. Does anyone besides me see the comedy in this idiocy? And who will get blamed for it?

Reality is a harsh mistress. Now all we need is a massive shutdown on those electronic toys of theirs….

    • So, commie-ism doesn’t work so we should just wait and let them fail?

Well no shit…anybody that has ever read a book knows of the repeated failures of their system, whichever version du jour they call it.

And they know it too. Which is why they are in warp-speed to kill as many of us and our quaint notions as possible before they go down in flames, again. And they know that we know so they kick it up another notch before those quaint notions catch them right between they eyes.

Don’t get the hurry up and wait attitude when we see what is happening right under our noses and in front of our faces tells us…

      Time’s Up! CRA Now!

35 or so years ago, I had to read everything Marx wrote, including those items banned in the USSR. What we have to realize is that for Marx, EVERYTHING is political. Therefore, the party and its agents are not only allowed, they are required to control everything, from the job you get t0 what you dream about at night. Otherwise, you cannot justify communist control over every aspect of your existence. And when that happens (as in the “antipolitical movement”) and the underlying premise of Marxism is negated, it cannot succeed.

What seems to us as ludicrous overreaching by the left, the redefining of political concepts, and the so-called “cancel society,” are, to communists, vital to the ending of the dialectic and the triumph of the working class. I love the way Chris satirizes this, but we should never f0rget that what we think is ridiculous is deadly serious to the True Believers.

  • Well they’re more screaming Muh Palestine! at the moment.

And they really are anti *that* war…

At least the part where the Israelis drop it down their allah’s chimney.
