Javier has somehow breached the difference in programming between “do as I need/want” as opposed to “do what I write/say”.
This is a near God-like talent/genius.
Do his eyes glow?
The way I read it is, Mari wants to date a guy from the leftist-run town of Teeter. Jo is asking what the attraction is, given that leftist men are crazy nuts and this guy might do something crazy to Mari if he finds out she is not down with the woke agenda. Mari says that women like the illusion of being in danger when they actually know they’re safe–I guess that’s where rape fantasies and liking “the bad boy” come from. In this case, Jo is the protection so Mari can indulge her wild side. She thinks Zed’s getting too long in the tooth to give her the protection he provided when she was a child.
That’s what I read, though I am somewhat confused as to how the conversation turned into one with Kiko,

Zed may be “kinda old”, but as the saying goes, never underestimate us old people, we didn’t live this long by being slow, stupid, or getting trigger-cramp at the wrong time.
Careful, Mari. A lot of women have discovered too late that the “feeling of danger” can turn into the real thing either in a heartbeat, or slowly enough that you don’t act in time.
If the eyesight is still good the old saying is still valid…
“God made Man and Colt made him equal.”
Then again, we’ve advanced so far from Colt that we’re well on our way to unmaking Man by shear accident.
Or as someone pointed out, “It is a shame that God saw fit to limit morality and intelligence but not stupidity.”
Maria Machado well deserves a prize for
her efforts in Venezuela, we know the Nobel
prize is worthless since the Messiah got it
just for being elected President.
Those who wanted Pres. Trump to get the Nobel
(Including him) should agree with Israel`s idea
to create The ‘Trump Peace Prize’.
In 1932 Walter Duranty received a Nobel Prize for a series of reports he wrote about the USSR for the NYT in 1931. Yeah, It’s been useless for a while now.
Not all of us — but I’m old, after all. My husband is the antithesis of a bad boy. He’s also a ju jitsu sandan, with a BS in electronic engineering, and has stuck with me for 52 years, through thick and thin, 7 kids, breast cancer and 43 years of being stuck in California before he retired.
I’ll take my not-bad boy over any of the others.
We’re now in Texas, retired and busier than ever, which just figures.
Again, not all of us. My sister (now gone) attended USC Medical Center School of Nursing and graduated as RNs. Of course, since it was not a “classical” education, those in the elite class consider it inferior. Maybe that helped us keep our conservative bent drilled into us through our military dad.
Oh yes, if it wasn’t obvious, I left out “and I”. We attended nursing school together and graduated together in 1972. At that time, California hadn’t gone over the edge, but even then it was on its way.
Dad talked to us a lot before we left home, and we were staunch conservatives even before it was a thing. Neither of us ever changed. She even converted her husband from raving lib to conservative after a couple of years, amazingly enough.

Jo is a beacon of wisdom in a culture that’s sadly lacking in same. Javier did a splendid job of engineering and programming.

I still need a translation

Yep, something tells me she is going to have to eat her words soon.

I heard today that 25% of American women are taking medication for mental illnesses. That means 75% are untreated…
We can be grateful that Jo is immune.
ok, I laughed out loud on Blackrifle’s observation.
My medication to avoid mental illness is reading Day By Day every morning.
Now that is coffee out the nose funny.
Blackrifle081 is spot on! Valeri is to! So is, “I’m to slow to run and too old to fight so I guess I’ll just kill you.”
Too slow to run, too old to fight, but I can STILL SHOOT PRETTY DAMN WELL!!!

Interesting, on the last episode of “Tulsa King”,
Stallone`s new show on Paramount +, we found
out that the ‘Rolling Dumpster’ is Bulletproof.
Tested by the best 🙂

I must have a look later and see if they tried the Kentucky Ballistics 4-Bore

I guess I’m begining to get this episode, women will chase after the Bad Boy

Awesomeness! All the best for the next 50+… I hope y’alls kids were able to escape with you.
“God made men great and small,
but Sam Colt made them equal, all.”
Since about 56 percent of females attend higher “learning”, then we could say it makes them crazy.
Heh Heh.

Wife was NICU RN – 30 years. Still 25% at that are still good! Y’all were on the good side.
