Can really be Ranch Dressing without the boots.

“Argentina, free from the top down”
Yep. VERY free. And I’m enjoying the view.
Gotta agree with Jan on that one.

“More than poor Sam back home”
Half right. Jan has more than Sam, yep.
    Sam being “poor”….not-so-much.
All three (Jan, Sam, Naomi) are endowed enough to any man happy.

And just what WAS Zed’s idea involving the Jack Dee?

    Ummm … I’m certain that’s Ranch Undressing. But … I like it!

Sidebar: Years ago, during my lunch break I tried a new burger restaurant someone at work had recommended to me. I ordered my double burger and fries with an iced tea to go. After picking up my order I went to the condiments area to get some ketchup for my fries. There was no ketchup. I mentioned this to the girl behind the counter and she told me that they were all out of ketchup. I thought to myself … what kind of burger joint runs out of ketchup and has no back-up plan?!? This counter girl had a back-up plan. She gave me a container of Ranch Dressing and suggested I try that instead since there was no ketchup. I took the Ranch Dressing figuring that I probably had a packet or two of ketchup lost somewhere in one of my desk drawers.

Anyways … I ate the fries with Ranch Dressing and it was so good that I always now request a side of Ranch whenever I order French fries. It tastes that good and I hardly ever use ketchup for much of anything nowadays …

When I lived in Montreal, I developed a taste for poutine (mmmmm) but if the fries are bare, the preferred condiment is fresh mayo.

I’ve been using vodka to make homemade vanilla for years. I’ll have to try Jack.

I make double fold vanilla in various types of alcohol. Each type has a different smell and flavor profile. Plus I age it longer. Then use the beans to make vanilla sugar.

Mr. Muir, you artistic talents are greatly appreciated!

As for Mr. Jack Daniels — love to drink, but gotta watch it since I usually get a terriffic hangover if I have a little too much… but it tastes SO good!

The guys in my model railroad club are trying to get me to drink bourbon… but so far, Mr. Daniels has easily bested all comers.

I am allergic to Jack, it makes me break out. I break out in stolen cars, strange women’s beds, in jail, in toilets, etcetera. I even broke out once in Fargo ND’s airport. I have broken out in a tent in the woods, strange cities and liquor store dumpsters. When I quit the Jack, I got better. For a long time I was allergic to my ex-wife, but that allergy went away when I paid her the $37K back child support I owed her.

Keep up the good work Chris!!

II’s the kid(s) that money was for, you owed them not her…hopefully they got the benefit of it, I don’t know your circumstances but they need you too if you can be involved with them. You are their dad. Remember yours? Congrats on your recovery, that dumpster was a pretty powerful metaphor huh? There is no addiction stronger and more destructive than alcohol. Kids need to learn about that too.

Maybe that’s why you were let stay around a while longer?

    The Daily Torch:

“After another big win Sen. Bernie Sanders, a self-described democratic socialist, is the frontrunner for the Democratic nomination for president in 2020 — and the Democratic establishment has no idea what to do about it.

But really, Democrats have nobody to blame but themselves. If Sanders weren’t running, they’d have to invent him. More than a generation has been spent declaring cultural Marxism to be a conspiracy theory, all the while the left was soft peddling socialism and radicalism in our public schools and universities, in Hollywood and in governmental and non-governmental institutions. And in pushing radical environmentalism to transform the U.S. economy that has fostered the Green New Deal, a proposal to end oil, gas, nuclear and coal consumption by 2030, convert to solar and wind, and put the U.S. at a global disadvantage economically versus China and other emerging economies. And in implementing a national, government-run health care system such that now the predominant Democratic proposal is to end private health insurance and institute socialized, single-payer health care. And into demonizing wealth and success so that now the Democrats’ national platform now calls for redistributing wealth, raising taxes and pitting Americans against one another via class warfare, all the while disincentivizing work with universal basic income schemes.

Until now a full 50 percent of Democrats have a favorable view of socialism, according to the latest NPR-Marist poll conducted Feb. 13-16. Only 33 percent of Democrats polled had a negative view of socialism. That is a snapshot in time.

Is socialism the future of the Democratic Party, if not the U.S.?”

I think yes. Like the piece said this shit is nothing new. Accelerated out of fear for sure. But it’s been building for “more than a generation”. They won’t just quit, eventually they will have the bodies to at least temporarily attain the top again.

But not this time. Not on the Deplorable/Trump watch. 2020 at least is ours.

Unless…never mind, don’t wanna think about that right now.

As it was with him the R or D after one’s name then was irrelevant to whether you were a Loyalist or a Separatist. So much similarity to what goes on now but with the letters reversed as to party…but still it is no guarantee as to who is what.

As to that in today’s world, it is well to remember that Sanders is to Democrat as Trump is to Republican.

Apparently there is good reason for that as his Red Chink investments are huge and India is position to be the new improved China. And Trump is on it.
