    Too Tall

Meanwhile Creepy Joe replaces the garbage can lid on his campaign until after the election.

I wonder, I mean you never see them together, If Joe and the big O, nah, Oscar the Grouch is much better looking with far more personality.

Obama likes to pretend everything he does is above board & winning so he can cover himself with glory… and nothing about Creepy Joe meets that criteria.

Ayuh, though he phrased it as ‘the important stories.’ Instapundit reminds folks of that quip fairly frequently, along with one from Jim Treacher saying “Modern journalism is all about deciding which facts the public shouldn’t know because they might reflect badly on Democrats.”

      Speaking of pillows….
Should the dems ‘take’ as in ‘remove from proper owner’…
the Presidency or, heaven forbid, the Senate…
How long before a ‘rightwing’ Justice ends up like Scalia with a pillow over their face and no signs of illness so a new appointment can be made ?
For that matter, what are the odds of slow joe making it to the 3rd ?
It’s not too late for him to develop a ‘medical event’ that would put kamala in his place and she ‘selects’ moochelle or oprah as a running mate to try and grab a few sympathy and/or moonbat votes…

Heinlein had Lazarus Long say this:
“A whore should be judged by the same criteria as other professionals offering services for pay – such as dentists, lawyers, hairdressers, physicians, plumbers, etc. Is she professionally competent? Does she give good measure? Is she honest with her clients?
It is possible that the percentage of honest and competent whores is higher than that of plumbers and much higher than that of lawyers. And enormously higher than that of professors.”
Were he able, I expect that today he’d add reporters to that list, lower than he has the professors,

Heinlein slated “journalists” for very special treatment in the last chapter of The Number of the Beast. And handed the construction design job to Mobyas Toras, Court Mathematician of Helium.

The only way out of the “lounge” he created was to be able to read a simple declarative sentence for what it actually said.

No “journalist” emerged from that “lounge”.

We were all warned, but apparently missed the message. Right there on the building it clearly said, “Traitor Joe”. Locally, it was even illuminated at night.

Their actions were not due to stupidity, or ideology. it was simple greed. I bet the Corruptocrats had a good chuckle at all those who were ranting about it was the Jooce or Israel. Corruption knows no race or ethnicity. Ideology made a good cover for treason. Biden/Kerry/Heinz/Pelosi… quite a show. One of Coke-Boy’s “contracts” had a list of “Domestic Contacts” (as I recall the terminology). I hope someone can determine what their assignments were.

Besides 4chan, there is also gnews.org. “G” deserves some honorable suspicion, since he is a player in his own game in China. Anti-Communist and all. Interesting, since he may be another player drawn into the light by President Trump. More than just “playing” the game; The President seems to be moving into a completely new game. Still lots of mists and shadows, but I am enjoying the style of play. I don’t expect A-10s, AC-130s, and Strike Eagles inside the Beltway, but something spectacular.

But remember, These are “interesting times” and dangerous. Very dangerous.

Should be an interesting week, Trump pre-empted whatever the ‘October surprise’ was going to be and people are sick of hearing ‘russia-russia-russia’…especially since putin came out in support of biden 😉
Nobody seems to care about any sex scandals and if they happened while Trump was single, most would envy him. What’s on that laptop is a different story altogether…
One of the favourite national pastimes, both up here and down there, is called ‘ripping off the taxman legally’ and we saw how that didn’t fly this time…ripping off the people is another thing entirely, even if the left considers all taxmoney to belong to their party and your pocket is just to keep it in one place for easy access.
      So what’s left ?
Armed insurrection in the streets ? got that now…
Fake news ‘stories’ ? nobody believes the msm anymore anyway.
Airforce 1 developing a ‘problem’ and pranging into a field ? maybe
Some ‘right winger’ with an ‘assault rifle’ shooting up his speech ?
Possibly, with a weapon that can be traced back to ‘fast and furious’
Gonna be a helluva week, keep your powder dry..and close to hand.

OT (somewhat)It’s official, Amy Coney Barrett WILL be our next SCOTUS Associate Justice. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell called her

one of the most brilliant, admired, and impressive nominees for any public office in a generation.

Yesterday I watched a great video on TownHall.com of McConnell calmly, logically and methodically deconstructing the Dems’ rhetoric about the Barrett confirmation. The video was in a piece by Guy Benson titled “Must Watch: McConnell Schools Democrats on Consequences of Their Endless Escalations in Judicial Wars”

I won’t quote all McConnel’s remarks but this one stood out for me

Democrats want President Trump to keep repeating that the election will be legitimate regardless of whether he wins. But here in the Senate, the very same people are saying that our vote on Monday will only be valid if they like the outcome. Our Republic cannot abide any political faction making ‘illegitimate’ a sloppy synonym for ‘we’re not happy.

Something McConnell said early on his remarks sort of summed up what he said

“We live in a constitutional republic. The legitimacy of an outcome does not depend on the feelings it provokes in politicians. Legitimacy comes from precedents, rules, and ultimately the Constitution.”

You can watch the video (and read Benson’s piece) here:

JFK’s words of inspiration then would ring so true and so desperately needed now, and seem almost to be a rebuke of the one party’s entire platform and an embrace of the other…

Each January, the BW and I decide where to direct our contributions for the coming year. This year was a no-brainer: Republican candidates for elective office — everything from town dogcatcher to POTUS.

When filling out the Occupation and Employer blanks of the contribution form I wrote in JOCS(AW), USN(RET) and U. S. Constitution. It was rather amazing how quickly USN(RET) began showing up in my address on solicitation envelopes – including from first-time askers.

if there’s a single ray of hope in today’s cultural landscape, it’s that fewer people than ever are falling for the Left’s sinister psy-ops operation – the MSM (now with Big Tech collusion). Still far too many, but fewer. With no journalistic, moral or intellectual authority left, the MSM now functions almost solely as a cover-up machine for Democrat crimes and deceit, and that fact is increasingly harder to hide from the public.
