This may be the finest and most non-PC toon ever done on this strip.
Wow…amazing ability to say what so many of us grouchy old farts really think.
    Well done.

    • WayneM

      Yup, totally spot-on, 110% straight up…

Feminism mixed with Marxism is a toxic brew. Adding intersectional identity politics into the mixture increased the potency.

      • Chiang Rai Jay

Amen to that. Time to repeal the 19th amendment. Annie Oakley believed the same wrt women in politics.

    • John Locke

This is easily one of the best comics I’ve seen since following you! Well done!

  • JTC

Wow. How un-PC of you Zed/Chris.

And how totally brutally honest and accurate.

But it is only with the acquiescence I alluded to yesterday that this “movement” continues to its logical (and planned) conclusion. Into the toilet.

    • Too Tall

Aided and abetted by a few trillion 5.56 x 45 mm and 7.62 x 51 mm, high-speed, fast acting suppositories PRN.

      How do you spell relief?

      • 3 trillion 5.56 bullets (“a few trillion”) comes to about 13 million tons of lead. About 2.5 times that much for 7.62 x 51. No point. Just saying.

        • Too Tall

Sounds like the basis for a great math word problem in every elementary school.

There are 70oo grains in a pound and 437.5 grains per ounce. If American Patriots own 3 trillion rounds of M193 ammunition with a bullet weight of 55 grains, and 3 trillion rounds of M80 ammunition with a bullet weight of 175 grains what is the total possible weight gain for all Progtard DildoCrats if they continue their socialist stupidity?

Buy Lots Of Ammo Today. You could not during the 2008-2015 era.

    • Punta Gorda

      With the lid up…

  • “Toxic masculinity”, “toxic femininity”; at what point do we attribute the toxicity to ideology or doctrine, or allegiance, and not sex?

Female authoritarians and male authoritarians may have their different traits, but surely the authoritarianism is the underlying problem. Or is it satan’s lie; “you can be like gods”, that’s the problem?

I don’t very much care whether the lethal poison I’m drinking is mint flavored or lemon flavored, or administered by a man or a woman. The flavor is rather beside the point, I should think, as is the sex of the person delivering it.

There are a million ways to violate any one of the Ten Commandments, I suppose. Should we focus on the many ways and types and categories and styles of violation, or on the few and simple laws which, if upheld, will lead to a good life?

    • JTC

Way before there were Commandments, there was the Plan of God:

      https://www.gracechurch.org/about/distinctives/role-of-women?AspxAutoDetectCookieSupport=1

Toxicity IS attributable to ideology and doctrine, and allegiance. It’s not that you should care who is delivering your poison but that those who would deliver it to you have been targeted as vessels for the reasons explained in those first books of Genesis. And as the leader and protector of the women in your life, it is YOUR job to prevent and protect them from it.

  • Halley

Hillary Clinton is the most qualified (not to mention hot!) semi-female to ever seek the office of the presidency. We need to make damn sure Russia can’t steal another election from her.

    • Punta Gorda

Don’t make me waste fine bourbon. Puking is not in my gameplan.

      • Walrus

Best strip you’ve ever done, Chris. Thanks.

        • Walrus

And yes, it should read “feminism”, not femininity. Minor point.

An important thing to remember is what happened when pussy was weaponized in the early 20th century. The worst constitutional amendments we have were ratified then, for instance: 16, 17 18 (lips which touch liquor will never touch ours), culminating in the 19th. Bad juju since.

    • She expected more gratitude after helping the Russians get so much of our uranium for only a nominal donation to her charitable foundation, but Putin wasn’t receptive to her offer of being more flexible after the election.

    • MasterDiver

I hope you just forgot to put the”/Sarc” at the end of that.

      Zar Belk!

      • Halley

I assumed that the “hot” description would assure major sarcasm, but will be more careful next time.

Good parody and sarcasm are increasingly difficult, as the crazy corrupt Dims are now more like Bizarro World mutations of themselves than they are real people.

    • John M.

      WOW! Spot on!

  • Longslide

I agree. Well done. Further reading: American Spectator, about the time the Clintons were trying to shut them down. George Gilder {I think} wrote an article that traced the problem to when the women demanded that we stop hunting and gathering and start farming.

  • jdow

Regardless of how this indirectly praises Muhammadanism, it still does not play for me, as a relatively sane woman.

Er, can’t we all be respected equally as we earn it? That’s all I want.
    {O.O}

    • Punta Gorda

      (o)(o)

      • PaulS

        ( – ) ^ ( – )

        ( V )

    • JTC

You don’t have to earn equality, you were given it in the Beginning by God. You do have to earn retaining it, and that doesn’t mean adhering to the evil of Islam or any other tool of the devil.

Please see the link in my response to Lyle above to know that the value of Woman in the eyes of God is equal to that of man, but also why and who and what has and is engineering the divisive “feminism” and misandry that is the point of today’s toon.

And the point I am making is that the “toxicity of ideology, doctrine, and allegiance” that Lyle references is not an inherent trait of God’s female children, but rather an opportunistic product of the evil that would enslave us all,

  • Thomas

    One of your best.

  • You nailed it, Chris. I’ll be writing about this later today or tomorrow — and I’m borrowing this strip to use it for emphasis.

  • As the matriarchal nanny state grows more intense, more on the “vaping crisis”:

Hydrogen cyanide found in THC vaping cartridges: report

Bootleg marijuana vaping cartridges sold on the black market have been found to contain hydrogen cyanide, according to a report.

No heavy metals, pesticides or solvents such as vitamin E were found in the legal products. But all 10 of the black market cartridges tested positive for pesticides and myclobutanil, a fungicide that can transform into hydrogen cyanide when burned, the analysis found.

So it’s what was being said weeks ago, it’s the illegal products that are the problem, not the legal ones. Sound familiar?

But now they’ve set precedents for banning entire classes of consumer goods over public health concerns, disrupting interstate commerce by state and local decree. So they’re free to point to a few deaths from an AR or AK and executive ban the entire class, even when the weapon was illegally obtained. No one challenged them on vaping, and there are other nicotine sources. So what if they ban AK’s and AR’s or semi-autos period, you still got bolt action and break-open. (PS, pump action is just about as bad as semi-auto so that’s next on the list anyway.)

    • GWB

      a fungicide
So, the problem is that they’re cleaning the things. *smh*
(OK, actually that they’re cleaning them wrongly. But, still….)

      • “they’re cleaning the things”

Sounds more like they take the raw weed, still covered in pesticides and fungicide, and process it direct to a THC liquid that still has the contaminates. Could be using a juicer on a countertop. The THC vape juice is illegal anyway so I doubt they’re using FDA-approved procedures.

        • JTC

THC vape juice is legal wherever recreational weed legal, and available at the same dispensaries. The study you mention was done on samples from both, in Cali, and presumably both purchased there by the testing lab.

It more understandable and certainly undeniable that prohibition itself promotes the poison kitchen-table products just as it is responsible for Drano meth, Chinese fentanyl, and adulterated Mexican weed. But WTF is wrong with people to use the black-market shit where pharmaceutical versions are easily and legally available? Price? Variety? Insanity?

    • Paul

Jerry Miculek can demonstrate how fast a Pump action works !

  • GWB

I do note that Zed makes the point that “Uncontrolled femininity” is the problem.

I’ll disagree. It’s uncontrolled feminism. Because it’s the ideology part that turns it toxic. Women have been as described (as a group, in a group) for all of time. But it is feminism that told them to weaponize it as a group.

Men and women (and children!) unbridled both cause untold pain in the world. But feminism has, in fighting the one (and severely mislabeling/misidentifying it), produced the other.

    • Paul

Id definitely allow myself to succumb to Sam’s uncontrolled femininity !!

  • Jim Smith

Insightful, insightful, insightful. Out of the minds of comics writers…*tres* insight.

  • Bryan E

Nice salute to pogo (old cartoon) in the last panel. Love the “mean girls culture” description, too.

    The art never disappoints, either!

  • eon

When you factor in the progressive obsession with “de-developng” the Western world, and their fantasies of a pre-technological Paradise with “everybody having just enough but the truly enlightened having all they want”, you get the brand of revolutionary primitivism called the deep-ecology movement. Going from NIMBY (Not In My Back Yard), to NIABY (Not In Anybody’s Back Yard), then to BANANA (Build Absolutely Nothing Anywhere Near Anything), and finally straight to BETFU (Blow Everything The F**k Up).

They, and I include third-wave feminists in that “they”, believe they will get their Hunger Games Utopia as a result. With themselves, the elite, living their Star Trekky lifestyle in the Capital, while everybody else lives a crude, medieval existence in mud huts under the constant eye of their armed drones. Eliminating the need for armed human thugs, although there will probably be at least some of those, bred from favored “victim” groups, for their entertainment value as they rape, loot, pillage, murder and burn a village now and then for the pleasure of their masters.

It never occurs to the “enlightened ones” that long before that, civilization will collapse with an appalling crash. And that they can’t have their Tech Toy Utopia without a tech and economic base to support it.

They will more likely end up on the wrong end of a backlash of titanic proportions, when a bunch of the people they hate take Robert Frost’s advice to “not go gentle into that good night”. And rage tends to take very concrete forms in such a context. To put it bluntly, those they seek to destroy will not be as polite as Lavoisier mounting the scaffold to voluntarily place his neck under the blade of the National Mistress.

If they’re lucky, the result will look like the Butlerian Jihad in Frank Herbert & Co.’s Dune series.

But considering the likely total destruction of civilization at the planetary level, with no interstellar “community” to provide support, the result is far more likely to look like a novel none of them have ever heard of but all of them should read.

    Walk to the End of the World by Suzy McKee Charnas;

    https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/517329.Walk_to_the_End_of_the_World

The later novels in the same series may safely be ignored. Because the situation this one sets up would not permit them to happen, at all.

In her “seething feminist rage”, Charnas accurately predicted where feminism crossed with anti-technology primitivism inevitably ends. And no, it isn’t nice.

As I said, every progressive, and especially every “feminist”, should read it. To see where they are going to end up if they don’t knock it the f**k off.

Their Utopia will inevitably end in dust and ash. And barring the extermination of absolutely everybody they hate before that point, they will learn that payback is always a bitch.

You hit it out of the field with this one !! Absolutely correct !!!

  • JTC

As I said at the top, all true as to the state of the “culture”. Full-on attack by the weaker of the species to destroy both the physical and mental ability of the protectors and providers…and it’s effectiveness cannot be denied.

But. Who/what benefits from it? I mean, the females and nominal males remaining will not be able to produce the means to survive and defend. So ultimate demise is all that come of it. I do think it is all orchestrated by and for a third-party participant and “feminists” have been duped and are being used to achieve a race of defenseless eloi. Unless that hidden force can be found out and destroyed before it is too late, it will achieve the utopian state it seeks, and the world as we know it and that God gave us will end.

In the interim however, some of the feminism (as opposed to feminists)…survives in an amazingly hot-ass form, like the one illustrated in panel two…damn.

    • John

      “Who/what benefits from it?”
Isn’t it obvious? Power is its own reward, and will be pursued by some even unto death.
This is the reason no socialist scheme can succeed, or even survive for long and the hideous toll these schemes extract from humanity continues so long as there is personal power to be gained.

  • Kafiroon

Excellent! Chris totally nailed it. An apt description of what goes on in the USA today in a few words.
The Art is also highly appealing.

They just cannot look ahead to what they are demanding leads to. Eloi are useless for anything except looking good, sex objects and as food. Most all of us being demonized are capable of running the technology that they need AND capable of destroying it. Third world’ers are only capable of consuming, reproducing and destroying. I feel sorry for the children and glad I am old enough to resist their schemes to the last lonely finger held high.
I will go into the dark night with bright flashes of light.

    • eon

There’s an old saying that goes,

“I came into this world kicking, screaming, and covered in somebody else’s blood. I have no problem with going out the same way.”

According to my late mother, I came into this world almost silently. When the doctor slapped me on the ass, I took a deep breath, and then looked at him like, “What the Hell did you do that for?”

You really need to watch out for the quiet ones. See Kipling, “Wrath of the Awakened Saxon”.

I can think of a future female president who’d be glorious, but wonder if George Farmer would acquiesce to being First Dude?

Actually, what Sam gets curves up…

O.K., this one is definitely worth becoming a poster for the living room / office. When will it come out and be for sale? The Wife (She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed) and I both want one . . . maybe two, each.
