Yes, President Trump often sounds ridiculous. But somehow problems the past half-dozen presidents and their Congresses have endlessly debated get acted on and resolved despite unrelenting opposition. Must be magic, I tell ya.
I remember where a speech was given by a President and his VP. They both said nice things about a guy. When they sat down, they forgot that their mikes were live and they said about the guy, “what an a-hole”.
President Trump doesn’t play that game. Like him or not, you know where he stands. It’s pretty refreshing.

He seems to be undoing a lot of bad policy that has corrupted our government, probably since Coolidge left office.

I think Truman was President when I was born, but the first President I recall was Eisenhower. None of the succeeding Presidents really did anything to undo decades and decades of horrible and destructive policies until Trump came along, not even Ronald Reagan, who I liked a lot.
The first President in my lifetime who really gave me hope is Donald Trump because he doesn’t just talk. He acts and he succeeds.
DJT is organized chaos … he utilizes creative destruction (a key concept in free-enterprise capitalism) to bring America to a restoration; a renaissance of the great nation that America has been, and is in the process of becoming again.
DJT did this as a businessman and real estate mogul, he is doing it right now to the East Wing of the White House, and he is doing this all for America as a whole. This creative destruction is not perfect, by any means. But it is better than what we have had since the 1980s and quite necessary, IMHO.
My view is that there is gray zone warfare directed at the US being perpetrated by several countries, including Iran, China, Russia, Cuba and until recently Venezuela, and probably more. The summer of 2020 riots were part of it, with financial support and training coming from outside actors, with riots being run like military operations. Drug problems kill more Americans every year than died in the whole of the Vietnam war, and the cartels seem to be in bed with these forces. I think this operation is designed to end this gray zone warfare, and there is probably no desire to take over Iran, only to end their operations that have killed thousands of Americans world wide. Will the regular Iranian army take over? (The average Iranians might be happy to see the islamists out of power, but they would certainly fight an invading army. Maybe Christianity and Zoroastrianism will start replacing Islam.) We are seeing an ongoing operation to end the gray zone warfare; Cartels are being attacked, the border is looking more like a border, Venezuela is being severed from the attacking forces, Cuba is being neutered and might rejoin humanity while China is being squeezed by oil restriction from both the Venezuela and Iran operations. Obviously I don’t know how it will turn out.
Would $250 Million change me ?
As my dearly departed mother would say:
“Just watch how much and how fast !!”
Heck, $50k would sort a lot of things out.
