I always wondered what happened when two people, each with hyphenated last names, got married.
If their kids joined the army they’d have to cut their name tags in two and put half over each pocket.
I had a Sgt with an eastern european last name do that once with the issued name tape for our ‘combats’, they used large print and his was about eight inches long. Good thing I didn’t get my mother’s maiden name before it was shortened or I’d have had to too, it was longer 😉
“Owens-Levy” makes sense in this reality, but what about her family in the Mid-East and her Dearly Departed in ‘Stan? She has a lot of “history”. Or is Skye just ignoring that bit?
