I think that was his birth weight. Still above the average 7.7 lb.

She’s still maturing. Leave it alone and enjoy it.

When the subject at, or in hand is boobies, I don’t think the words “Leave it alone” and “enjoy it”can be combined into the same sentence.

I had a shipmate who had his nose broken in a strip club near Curtis Bay. She was a Brazilian gal, D’z. Bigguns. Swung her glory, stiffened by modern medicine and bent his nose sideways. He had already tipped her. I told him he should’ve given her the whole thing after that.

Reminds me of a bit in Bloom County ages ago, when a character had just given birth.
Opus wanted to know what the glories of producing life was like, and she said, “Like passing a Volkswagon.”
He was confused: “Like, beep beep, on the freeway?”

My mom was a nurse, the same as I, and once told me a story of something that happened while she was a student, on her obstetric rotation.

She heard a new intern speaking to a resident, rather deprecatingly, about the women in labor on the ward, wondering why women made such a fuss about a natural process like having a baby. The resident took the wind out of his sails with one sentence:

“Have you ever had to sh#t a watermelon?”

From memory, my father weighed 10lb 4oz and my paternal grandmother was 5′ even. Dad was her last child. I think I understand why.

Hence Jo’s (Chris’s) brilliant double entendre…”Hard pass” indeed.
