Der Fuhrer would have had that one eliminated for being inferior.

Really, you don’t have to scratch them, just wait until they open their mouths, the fascism just pours out.

They don’t want to control ALL free speech, just the speech that they disagree with, and the speech that points out how they want to control the rest of us.

“Whoever would overthrow the liberty of a nation must begin by subduing the freeness of speech.” — Benjamin Franklin

I agree with the sentiment and honor Benjamin Franklin daily (seriously), but I believe that the aphorism dates to no earlier than 1990.

“Zu befehl” is what one says when acknowledging an order from a superior. Haupttruppführer (one word, diaeresis over the last “u”) was a Sergeant Major in the SA (“Brownshirts”).

Being old, I recall that back in the 1990s the two wolves line wan already attributed to Franklin.

Funny, in Niccolo Machiavelli’s times, the Italians were the most dangerous and freest of the men, along with the Swiss and the Scots(armed populaces are free, slaves are disarmed) and with Mussolini, Italians were all defenceless clowns in government servitude.

I never tire of pointing out to Progs that Nazis were Socialists.
National Socialism, it seems, doesn’t really mean what Progs want it to mean, or so those who are indoctrinated believe.
Nazism is the absolute opposite of Capitalism. Sure, they opposed Communists, Communist are anti God and welcome all races, Progs are antiGod, anticapitalist and hate their own race, how do they live with themselves?

      eon

      1. Nazism wasn’t really all that anti-Communist. Look up “Gregor Strasser”, and consider that the German Army trained in secret in the USSR from the 1920s on. That’s not even considering the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, Poland, and Katyn Forest.

      2. Far from Communists “welcoming all races”, the Russian brand at least has always been contemptuous of non-whites. (CM, I won’t quote the Russian term for a black African out of deference to you.)

      3. Anti-Semitism was always a Soviet policy. Stalin’s purges of “kulaks” (“rich peasants”) fell heavily on the Russian middle class, composed of farmers who owned their own land, and merchants. Many of whom were- you guessed it- Jewish.

The differences between Nazism and Soviet-style Communism were minimal at best. The differences between Soviet-style Communism and modern-day Western progressivism, even less so.

      cheers

      • May 14, 2015 at 12:58 pm

Comparing the principal representatives of Naziism and Soviet Communism, namely Hitler and Stalin, we know them to have been two of the greatest monsters in history. But there was a major difference in their respective monstrosities. Hitler was a “targeting” monster; Stalin was an “equal opportunity” monster.

Hitler’s favorite targets were Jews, Slavs (the Untermenschen), and other “non-Aryans”, such as Gypsies. Stalin had no favorites — he targeted everyone in a random fashion, which maximized his terroristic grip on his own people.

Stalin’s daughter married a Jew, and her son, Stalin’s grandson, was, therefore, half Jewish; Stalin was fond of both. On the other hand, Stalin’s own son (by his first wife) perished as a Nazi POW, when Stalin refused to trade a bunch of captured Nazi generals for his own son’s return.

I know where Der Furher can put his poor hurt widdle finger.
From many years ago, on a local radio station, there used to be a a duo that would play “Dr Demento” style songs, one-off novelties. The one I’m thinking of has the line “Stick It In Cider (Inside) Her”.

So incredibly true. What most people, especial liberals, fail to understand is that fascism is a movement of the left, not right. Even Hitler and Mussolini considered themselves creatures of the left.

ISIS has already changed how reporters report. They do it with death threats to weak and cowardly reporters like Bill O’Reilly. Thus O’Reilly attacks Pam Geller and defends ISIS would be killers.
