It’s the Canadian Trucker Freedom Fighters are the endgame for the Globalists/Fascist/Dem Axis Powers…The writing is on the wall – We The People everywhere on the planet are coming for THEM! And the Globalists Cabal stands to lose everything to include their worthless hides. It’s kind of like 1943 during WW II when Churchill said this of the gigantic Allied victories in North Africa and Russia: “This is not the end, this is not even the beginning of the end, this is just perhaps the end of the beginning.”

Re Churchill: all these decades I’ve believed he made that comment shortly after 15 September 1940, when the RAF had won the Battle of Britain. Who knew?

Sorry John, this was after the end of the siege of Stalingrad, and Monty’s successful offensives in Libya.

I believe you are confusing that with this:
“Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few.”

And without exclamation points: now the puppet strings are rotted through, so NATO is about to go the way of Warsaw Pact, and take the rest of puppet show with it.

I suspect that if we embraced the principles of classical international law overnight, next week would see military coups in almost every country in the world. In the present world, a military government in, say, Brazil, would be ostracized and isolated into oblivion with remarkable speed. In the world of classical international law, the US does not care what form of government is practiced in Brazil. It only cares that Brazil does not invade it, harass its shipping, welsh on its debts, etc. There is a lot of order to restore in Brazil, and a lot of prestige to be won by restoring it. At least in Brazil. And why should it matter what Washington thinks of Brazil? Answer: it shouldn’t.

As it turns out, “unable” and “unwilling” have quite similar effects, so modicum of sanity may be restored ahead of schedule.

Got this sent to me by my mother in law:

    Ponder this…
China claims that corona-virus came from a stupid old bat, but Nancy Pelosi denied having been involved.
“Payday” candy bar is changing its name because it’s offensive to those who don’t work.
If the current power grid can’t handle a night of 20 degrees temperatures without rolling blackouts, how are we going to plug 100 million electric cars up at night?
Are there any countries that tax their citizens and send some of it to Americans?
Imagine, if you will, a world where every tweet and meme must be fact checked, with one exception…. a ballot.
How to stop drunk drivers from killing sober drivers? Ban sober drivers from driving. That’s exactly how gun control works.
Can we still order black coffee? Are brownies being taken off the shelf? Is White Castle changing its name? I’m sure Cracker Barrel is screwed. Can we still play Chinese checkers? Is that season still called Indian summer? No more Italian sausages? How far do you want to go with this foolishness?
Hell of a job, Democrats! You’ve managed to bring back the 1918 pandemic, the 1929 depression, the 1968 race riots and the 1973 gas prices – all at the same time.

Lived in Alberta for a few years, four or five hours north of Coutts, used to go out at -40 in track pants and a T-shirt, but if there was a 1km/h wind, skidoo suit !! Guess that’s why people look at me funny when I go out here in a T-shirt and leather vest at -10 if I’m not getting out of the car except to go in a store 🙂 (I keep a parka in the trunk, just in case).
The real danger is overheating, once you start sweating and your clothes get wet you can end up colder than if you weren’t wearing anything, wool is an exception, it keeps you warm even when it’s wet, which why the ‘it’s lined with wool’ answer is perfect here.

The weather in Ottawa is hoovering around freezing; unseasonably warm but that’s not a bad thing since the Freedom Convoy continues to rock and roll.

Trudeau the Younger continues to sputters and dither uselessly. For a short time, it appears the interim leader of the Cuckservatives had some political gravitas but then she made a speech in Parliament telling the truckers that they’ve made their point and it’s time to open up the streets. Alas…

Meanwhile a couple of the premiers are playing games about dropping mandates but, per usual, the details are scant, the goal posts are moving and no-one is “owning” that lockdowns and mandates were bad ideas and worst policy.

In other words, the honking will continue until the freedom improves.

That was was the best of steveb919’s mother in law list upthread…(how lucky is he to have her for a MIL?).

But to carry that great analogy further, it’s not really the drivers, drunk or sober, that they are after but the cars, all the cars…(except theirs of course, very important people with places to go and things to see).

And yet the live online vid of that holstered 1911 sitting there waiting but untouched and unused now since 2008? Need to start one with a new C8 Vette garaged, ready to rock and roll, driverless and just waiting.
