If you think NY is bad you should check out the ongoing insanity here in Tax-a-chusetts.
Headline from a Breitbart article on August 7th:
Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey is the latest Democrat to performatively threaten retaliatory redistricting, despite her state’s congressional delegation consisting of zero Republicans to remove.
That’s a coincidence…or is it ?
I came in early specifically to post this….
There is, it turns out, a time and a place for running people over.
There’s an implied dare. The game being, “You won’t do what’s needed, despite our alarming and menacing behaviour, because you’re nicer than us, less vain, and not unhinged, and so we can dominate you and terrorise you, and break your stuff, for as long as we want, for shits and giggles.”
Well. I would suggest that the activists’ own actions render their wellbeing of very low importance.
Again, people who behave in this way cannot be relied on to observe normal moral boundaries. Are their victims, their chosen targets, those alarmed drivers and passengers, the ones just going about their business – are they supposed to assume that the mob of unhinged aggressors exulting in their capture and harassment will not press their advantage and do something worse?
“The masked, screaming people are only blocking our path and surrounding us.”
“Now they’re only smashing the windscreen and pulling at the door handles.”
“And now they’re only…”
At what point, precisely, would one’s alarm be considered sufficient?
“…that finding intruders in your home, or breaking into your home, intent on thievery and God knows what else, is somehow not in itself an obvious provocation. Or a basis for vigorous self-defence.”
Yep, almost always best to drive out of the killzone of an ambush. Still holds true.

And with Gov DeSantis’ & numerous LEO’s blessings. And with this being a STRONGLY 2A state……you try smashing a side window attempting to either forcibly enter the vehicle or drag the driver/passenger out, will more than likely get you shot in the face point blank!!
Florida citizens got no time for this kind of bullshit!!!!!

I’ve driven in Florida, you can get run over on a normal day whether you’re protesting or not 😉 If I were living there now I’d be replacing the hood ornament with a bayonet.

True, thank God we are getting a temporary reprieve from the Crazy Canucks who terrorize our Fla roads in the winter; those people either are intent on causing carnage or they just can’t drive worth a fuck!
Handy to have in the unlikely event a road-blocking protest breaks out here though; you know those half-french crazies would plow on through!

The biggest problem I had driving in Florida was the onset of ‘winter’ in the Panhandle, specifically Eglin, when it ‘snowed’ what we’d call a ‘trace amount’ and there was a little frost on the roads. The ditches and lawns were full of locals who never learned to drive on ice and wouldn’t recognize a snow tire if it ran them over.
It was just as bad in DC, I was living in Alexandria and the first day it ‘snowed’ I wiped the windshield off with my hand to head off to the course I was taking in Maryland, which was still open although most of DC was shut down for less than an inch of snow, and it was complete chaos on the beltway going out…there were cars in the median every hundred yards, one was on fire !!! I could see that on the inbound side, all that traffic had ‘driven’ the snow off long before and it was bare pavement, but there was still a little wisp here and there outbound. I’ve driven a hundred miles or more on a snowpacked main highway, dozens of times, and not seen that level of carnage.

Bayonet as a hood ornament? Ooh, I like that idea!
I would think you would have a very case for Castle Doctrine Defense if you drive a motorhome. Now, that said, what if I keep a sleeping bag in the trunk of my car? Am I therefore living in my car, as some unfortunate people are sometimes forced to do? Where do we draw the line here, or is there even a line to be drawn? (other than the chalk line around the body, that is)

Here in Texas your motor vehicle, be it car, truck, motorcycle, or watercraft, is considered your “premises.”

Around here, keeping a sleeping bag in the trunk, or at least a couple of blankets is highly recommended, along with a few candles, some lightsticks and enough food for a couple of days. I’ve spent the night in a car stuck on the highway in a blizzard because somebody ahead of me screwed up and blocked the road, and spent hours waiting for someone to tow a jackknifed semi off because the guy ‘driving it had never seen snow before…thats the only nice part about our winters, you can see the brand new immigrants go from fascination and wonder at the first sight of a fluffy snowfall to outraged foaming hatred the third time the plow fills their driveway in after a blizzard 🙂 that still doesn’t make it any safer on the roads but at least it stalls their getting on them.

Channel your inner Killdozer and get a classic railroad “cow catcher” on the front. Disburses the trash to the side. Alternate would be a split blade snow plow.
Be sure to sharpen all edges of these two front additions.

I don`t know if it`s possible, but an EO that
demands common sense, Logic- debatable,
Ha Ha.
My son, a born in Fl. gun toting native, with a
large auto repair facility in central Fl has said
they are done with all the Yankees coming to
boggle up the highways, and just cause gridlock.
Stay where you are and fix your own problems.
Sure- easier to say than do.
We are in a Civil war right now, the Demonrats
have gone to the Marxist side of humanity,
they want taxes to go as high as possible so
the 40% of the population can continue their
Govt. handouts.
Pres. Trump is as powerful as any Pres. could
hope to be, but if noticeable improvements are
not seen soon, the mid-terms could be a disaster.
I believe that the blue states are going to ruin
anything that makes Trump look good.
In my state (blue as a MF) when fuel prices went
down, the PTB raised the gas tax, as the peons
were already used to payin a certain amount.

Her answer is sorta true, but I doubt they were driving anywhere near the roads from Illinois to Austin.
Don’t be so sure. Coulda been a few out there, way of course. After all, DEMs aren’t exactly known for having a good sense of direction.
They sure do know where Left is.
Live in NY and they tried gerrymandering twice now. It’s a trash concept. Win on merit.

Skip the bayonet and go Gatling!
