Last year a couple guys and I played a little poker to push the bar to the end by Independence Day. Seems apropos again with Independence busting out in Europe and a cascade of preference building to keep it here.
So I did the Skye High and am proud to do it as I consider it reasonable fee for fine service rendered. Now with just a week to go before the 4th, I don’t know if we can make it, but I’ll make a proposal to put up another C-Note if nine more will make the same commitment, that’s only a grand total but it sure can’t hurt and maybe that will get the ball rolling again to keep the ball rolling here at DBD, especially considering the extra challenges our host is facing right now.
Takers? It’s the Honor System, chime in with your handle and make the 100 commitment and as soon as there’re ten of us, we can make the $ transfer all at once…a cascade as it were. Like somebody else said, Let’s Roll!
Well DAY-UM! My +$20 on Saturday seems to have moved the line backwards, but okay JTC I’ll jump on board for another $80 if that will suffice for inclusion as a decimember.
That hybrid club probably won’t improve my game anyway.

Since I’ll be putting in 12 hour days this week at work, DBD gets some of the OT at the Jan/Damon level. Already submitted JTC.
I’ve bought in already, and thank you Chris for the downloads, but I’ll see if there’s anything left after bills. This is a worthwhile investment.

Yeah, Spin spun up a level too. It is a good cause. I’ll see what the budget looks like. By the way, I have finally gotten around to reading the strip from the beginning. Holy crap, I wish Chris would rerun under the main panel one from the archives that covers the current political/social theater. As an example, go read January 28/29th 2003. Priceless!

Haven’t and will not comment whether I gave or not. That only concerns Chris and I. But Yes, another push to donate is a good idea. We all know many of us are on fixed income and expenses have only gone up. I think I better start growing veggies.
