    CM,

What you do, here and for your family, is thanks enough.

    Sincerely,

Ditto that, Chris. Take care of your dad, don’t worry about thank you notes. We know.

  • June 17, 2016 at 11:12 pm

    And Arthur Clarke of course.

And *I* like them puppies. Heh.

Your family comes first. What and whenever (if necessary) you post at DbD is thanks enough.

    Hey Sweetie

No worries about anything. I cared for my Mom-in Law for six years so I know. A lot of us know.

DHS rounded up Stars. Strange unless they are all conservatives and they are on a new black list. Or is it because of their names.

All right then. Thanks for that piece of information. They are in support of law breakers. Aid and Abet in the commissions of multitudes of crimes.
Who do the think they are? The Government?

Being a caregiver is a near thankless job. I’m taking care of my mom who had a stroke. I can’t do too much for her cause I undergo dialysis myself among other health problems. Only time I can relax is when I check the political blogs and of course Day-By-Day.

I prefer Henry Bowman over Dave Bowman. 20mm would have turned that van inside out.

    • June 18, 2016 at 2:38 am
      Sam

Nah. Henry prefers using his Solothurn on airborne targets. Not enough challenge in a van.

      • June 18, 2016 at 9:43 am

The incendiaries would do a nice job converting the van to a smoker.

there is a pig joke in there somewhere, but I’m not going for it.

Chris, having cared for two parents and a step-grandfather (one of the nicest guys I have ever known) with cancer, I have a notion of what you may be going through. I doubt that there is a single reader of your ‘toons who worries about being thanked by you. We know you care, that you appreciate whatever we can do to support your efforts, but it must always be Family First. Don’t worry about us at all. Do what you need to do, and we’ll be here when you have the time and energy to carry on.

Thank you Chris for who and what you are.

You could have Sam write the thank yous. That would sustain people’s attention for a LONG time. 😉
Yes, I love puppies, too. All shapes and sizes. Based on DbD, I might even come to like artificial ones.

You keep on keeping on, Chris. Take care of your father first, and take care of us as you can.

    Chris,

The important part is to take care of your Dad. While the letters are nice, family comes first.

Ditto, Chris. You take care of your Dad. We’re all big boys & girls – drawing DbD is thanks enough, and then some.

If I can pull myself away from being distracted by Sam’s excellent sweater puppies (woof!), I have to ask, what do those people have in common? what are they doing in a/the van? is it the same DHS van that was trespassing on DD land?
In other words, where is Chris leading us now?

    • June 18, 2016 at 10:52 am

As Chris answers Pamela upthread, these are folks who have taken it upon themselves to promote themselves via promotion of criminal trespassers and thieves, keepin’ it real for the peeps, yo.

Well, except that they themselves are completely insulated from any effects of said criminals and of course from the criminals themselves by virtue of the armed guards that they employ to ensure the safety of themselves that I’m sure they would all deny for ourselves…I only bet on sure things, but I’ll lay two to one right now that those occupants are all Hillaryesque in their views of the Second Amendment and the Constitution in general except where it guarantees their freedom to say anything they want, even if it is an expressed desire to deny me my freedoms.

So where is this leading? Well, poetic justice would dictate that the van will be heading across the border to a place where I’m sure the locals would be very friendly and accepting to these plastic creatures who insist that we be accepting of them, kind of a catch and release program in reverse. I could suggest a whole bunch of other candidates for just such a program too.

    JTC,
I would like to imagine that these Hollyweird limousine Libtards would be taking a DHS support tour, saaaay, a weee bit too close to the border, maybe even OVER the border. And they get shot and killed. Aahhhhh. Too bad, so sad.

While all the Libtards are wailing and moaning and gnashing of teeth, the Conservative leaders could make the point (among several) that if these people were killed (aahhh, so sad. weepy alligator tears) in/close to a country with the strictest gun control in North America, and it doesn’t work there, then why are we here in the USof A wasting our time, and money on a futile effort? Preempt the blood dancing, if you will.

Support Chris, dammit! I sent him fifty bucks and I’m unemployed with lots of hospital bills.

C’mon, guys! And girls; I assume there are a few of you in the readership, tho the comments skew male-ward.

      Good morning Oliver

      Already did.

  • June 18, 2016 at 1:54 pm

Chris, while the letters and phone calls are welcome and enjoyable, as for thank you’s your words at the bottom say it all.

Well not all; your pics at the top say it pretty well too and you know one of them is worth a thousand words…so let’s see, is that two awesome pics or four? I’ll count those puppies as four pics, so you’re good for about four thousand thank you words!

Prayers for Pops, and bearing in mind the significance of tomorrow, for you too.

I will again express my support for you and your Dad Chris.
My ISP went Tango Uniform so I am relegated to the public library for a connection. (Meaning that my responses will be farther apart. Who is that cheering in the background? /joke)
Next installment will be in the mail soon-ish.
    Best Wishes for you both.
