There’s this guy call Trevor Noah. He took over for Jon Stewart on the daily show.

I say this cause nobody watches the daily show anymore.

  • August 12, 2016 at 9:01 pm

I had to go to Wiki just to find out who Trevor Noah is. Wiki says he is of South African nationality. Why is anybody listening to him? If he wants to criticize the United States (USA) I suggest he goes back to the RSA (old USA) and do it there. Oh no, they wouldn’t tolerate that. Maybe he is just confused about the SA part. A lot of good Americans stood up to remove Apartheid from South Africa. Maybe this is how libruls thank you for the time and effort.

Anybody that hasn’t, if you ever get a chance to share a beer or three with a man who was a middle class merchant or farmer in South Africa in the 1970’s and 80’s, just sit and listen to their history, their story, and their pain. I did that about ten years ago, and realized that everything I had been told and everything I thought I knew, was lie.

Yeah, prevarication and fabricated narrative. It’s a lib-prog-commie theme from way back.

Married to a lady from SA, lot of her kin still there. There’s a lot more than made the news, and a lot of the news was made up. She can tell some tales, growing up in the ’70’s and ’80’s. And she’s glad she and our daughter are in the US with all it’s faults, rather than in SA. Despite the best efforts of our Progressives, the US is still safer than SA, for the most part. We need to keep it that way.

A friend of mine lived there for a few years. The house had inside rape gates and a panic room with a separate power supply.

We keep letting in the “refugees”, these might end up being part of every home.

They are big sellers already, Lady Pamela. Panic rooms are very poplar. I can’t incorporate one into my house, but the large shop I am planning will have the mud room/ bathroom built as a safe room. Unfortunately, I will still have to get to it. It will have power, water, supplies and a safe type door.

I worked with a guy who was a Selous Scout in Rhodesia. got out just as mugabe got into power, or they’d have killed him. he always asked me why the US and the UK backed mugabe.

I didn’t have an answer for him other than “I’m sorry for what your country has become”

Noah had better hope DT wins the election. As long as he’s a candidate for public office, there isn’t much he can do.

If DT returns to the private sector, however, there is such a thing as a libel and slander lawsuit.

And I doubt that Noah and his bosses can afford the kind of legal action DT’s legal department is accustomed to dishing out. The billable hours alone will probably bankrupt Noah’s employers.

Actions have consequences, and they should.

See Johnny Carson vs. National Enquirer. Just because somebody is a “celebrity”, and a “news organization” draws a bead on them, doesn’t protect the latter if they lie about it in public.

For an even older example, see Reynolds vs. Pegler– you can find the full story in Louis Nizer’s book My Life In Court. He was Quentin Reynolds’ attorney in the civil suit against columnist Westbrook Pegler and his publishers.

It didn’t end well for Pegler & Co., to the tune of punitive damages exceeding materiel damages (loss of revenue/income for the plaintiff) for the first time in American judicial history. The amount was not small, equivalent to close to $100M in modern-day inflated money.

Being part of the “Fourth Estate” is not a license to lie. Something “journalists” need to be reminded of on a regular basis.

The left will use any trick they can to get their way. When I looked Noah up and read about his accusation there was a link to something even worse than accusing him of desiring incest. Noted skank actress (with apologies to skanks) Rose McGowan wrote an open letter to all news networks castigating them for covering Trump. She doesn’t want Trump to be covered by the media AT ALL!!. McGowan claims the media are poisoning the American and world public by publishing anything about Trump. She doesn’t merely want to shut Trump up, she wants to silence him completely. If she (and I suspect many on the left) had her way the public would only hear about one candidate and if someone mentioned Trump, the average person on the street who heard it would reply “who?”. Sadly, I expect HRC to do her flat out best to utterly quash dissent. I am SSSSOOOOOOO glad I am not going to live much longer because I do not want to live in a prog utopia.

The ballot is so much easier.
I hope there is enough time to develop exit polling that will survive a court test to overrule thefts of votes.
The exit polls have more certainty in one way. The record of the exit polls will still exist. Keeping good enough records (paper, video, whatever else) and preserving them for courts and in a manner that a court should find acceptable and of greater probative value than a “black box” voting method that is susceptible to rather easy hacking and changing of ballots, are the questions. This will be interesting.

Also get more Trump voters out. I convinced a few potential voters to go to see Hillary’s America: The Secret History of the Democrat Party at theaters in Lake Wales, Winter Haven, Lakeland, and Sebring. It is worth seeing. It appears to have moved on from here, but try your zip code and see if it is playing near you. I found one in Fort Lauderdale showing the film.

I have no doubt that it is a fact that Trevor Noah said such a thing. Now as to the underlying factual basis for his slanderous (yes, slanderous, despite the public nature of Trump’s current persona – even celebrities cannot be lied about in such a blatant manner, and even Sullivan only goes so far) comment? Not so much.

Since they only ever talk to each other and never disagree about anything, all they see in the media is confirmation of their own rightness.

      Sometimes it backfires, and you get something like the “10:10” aka “No Pressure” campaign;

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No_Pressure_(film)

Everybody involved in making it thought threatening to murder “climate deniers” en masse if they didn’t Change Their Ways was The Right Thing To Do. At no point did anyone think that other people might find it even a little bit objectionable.

Myself, I simply saw it as one more confirmation of their real goals: the destruction of Western civilization and the extermination of most of the human race other than their own perfect selves.

They couldn’t believe everybody else couldn’t understand how “right” they were. They still don’t.

The comic had me wondering if Noah had a good looking daughter, but that turned into “ick” after the comments clarified the accusation.

What’s next? I know: “The Donald is the devil, it’s why he always wears shoes and a coat, so the tail and cloven hooves don’t show. Not to mention the hair combed to hide the horns.”

Now what is that Klinton body count up to?
