No disagreement here about Islam being a cancer on the world. As you can see, most readers concur on this. Socialism, communism, Islamism all are major threats to us all.
But note commenters are sidestepping what the toon is about-addressing the last 30 years of very overt and concrete acts of a foreign government (Israel) working through our institutions HERE via influential, rich and powerful americans who throw their weight into influencing America’s government and culture for the benefit of Israel-not America. I am of Scottish and Italian heritage in the past, but one doesn’t see Americans lobbying for constant benefits-to the detriment of America- for Scotland or Italy.
As a heritage American, I have issue with this in the extreme. I have no ties to Israel.If Americans are not allowed to speak out on this through said influence-and note the friction of the simple bringing up of this topic presents, here, where we have a first Amendment-then we, and I, have no nation. We do not steer our own ship, our Republic.

There has never been a “middle ground” between the “progressives” and everybody else. There has only been their demand for Obedience- Or Else.

I’ve banned Zumpkof. My answer is below. If any other DBD readers can’t handle my characters and I discussing valid concerns Americans have about Israel, feel free to leave.

Me: Jews are ’not behind it all’. That is what people like Zumkopf do first-change what one says into a comprehensive slur. This is a weaponized empathy (derived a la Hitler’s humanity crimes)-used to shut down any critique of Israel’s influence here in America-or anywhere, frankly.
The point is jews are singular force multipliers par excellence. The Frankfurt School from Germany which arguably seeded Progressivism/communism into America . The Weather Underground. AIPAC, boasting it owns most of Congress. Karl Marx. Trotsky. Larry Ellison of Oracle. Antony Blinken who birthed BRICS via seizure of Russian funds . Chuck Schumer. Howard Zinn, Chomsky reaching millions of college students. Nearly every anti-White and anti-Christian organization in America have been founded or co-founded by Jews. No other minority-except islamics- set out to undermine and destabilize their new nation. Their track record of being expelled by 100+ nations-so far-is not good.

but it’s still weird to watch erstwhile sensible people turn on the Jews, interpreting the US acting in its own interest (Iran has been at war with us since 1979, whether we want to admit it or not — they were declaiming “Death to America!” in 1979 and continuously since then until two weeks ago; the regime has been murdering Americans directly and through proxies the entire time, and still does today) attacking its sole ally assisting in the counterattack — Israel — as being a malevolent actor controlling the US here. It’d be nice if England, Scotland, Italy, Spain, France, or Canada was similarly malevolent.
Me: Note the inevitable ‘erstwhile sensible people turn on the Jews’ -equating reasonable concern of one’s own sovereignty to ‘unreasonable’ to set the tone. Note the immediate diversion to Arabs are the true enemy routine. Well, Arabs are our enemy, absolutely, their religion is incompatible with the Constitution. But they haven’t the cultural sway and push in our institutions here as Jews do-to America’s detriment.
Were further proof wanting, note that George Soros — a rich Jew with influence — is diametrically opposed to Israel and has effectively singlehandedly purchased the entire Democratic Party to enlist in his crusade (ironic, that word in this context) against Western values in general and America in particular. Any number of rich American Jews are equally supportive of the modern Democrats, who patently hate Israel. So the Zionist controlling cabal, if it existed, is at war with itself. And utterly ineffective: Despite the “proof” of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, the Zionist cabal failed to prevent the Holocaust, allowing fully half of the entire worldwide population of Jews to be murdered.
Me:Soros has funded billions into the most effective, destructive NGOs, organizations, activist entities, candidates, prosecutorial, attorney general, and judicial candidates that have wrecked this nation at the root level. Open borders (which is replacing us) BLM, The Green Scam, Vote fraud-our votes, our sovereignty in the here and now. Far more effective than any others.

They were even unable to get Franklin Roosevelt to so much as bomb the rail lines leading to the death camps. More recently, until 1979, Iran was a de facto ally of Israel. If the Jews were actually an organized cabal, they surely would have popped off Khomeni when it counted. Carter was the one who empowered the Islamist fanatics to take power in Iran. The putative Zionist cabal was unable to force Carter to act otherwise. So is Jimmy Carter your hero? He’s not mine.

Even more ironically, this makes the *modern Democrats* the heroes in the struggle against Zionist control of the US government, the banking system, worldwide commerce, military domination, etc.
And, of course, everyone (other than a small subset of Democrats) agrees that it would be catastrophic to allow the current Iranian regime to have nuclear weapons, let alone ballistic missiles capable of reaching the US with such warheads. Over nearly fifty years, every approach to prevent this — diplomacy, bribery, begging, threatening, acting friendly, acting unfriendly, limited bombing campaigns — has been tried, and failed, in deterring the Iranians from this pursuit. The only avenue left is the one taken, and that one only just in time. [To anyone who doubts this, recall that the intelligence community confidently informed us that the North Koreans were ten years away from getting atomic weapons, right up until they successfully tested atomic weapons.] Chris asserts the cabal of rich Jews is forcing the US to act against the US’s interest — but preventing the Iranians from building nuclear weapons, and preventing the Iranian regime from continuing to murder Americans in tens and hundreds, clearly IS in the US’s interest.
Which seems to reduce the position to “America is doing what we want to do — what we NEED to do — but the Zionists are making us do it.”
Me: Except, of course, Israel essentially said we’re going to go ahead and attack Iran anyway, and it’s too bad your military bases and personnel are in harm’s way. Why do they make the call what affects our soldiers when we make it possible for their nation to exist, and at 32 billion/yr?

Well if it is Jews, Russians, Africans, Islamics, or the little Green Men from Mars running this country, it’s still the situation that they are bankrolling the demonrats and all the other home grown traitors. Many miss the true point. It’s not about Bibi and Israel “influencing” Trump. The Donald is no one’s patsy. Do not be drawn in to the typical anti- Jew tropes. It really has very little to do with them. The USA is the Great Satan. Do not be fueled by the shiny object. He has clearly stayed that (1) America first and (2) China is the primary foe.
By limiting the Norks in his first administration, poking the Iranians in his first administration by dunking Solemani and now removing Maduro, destroying Iran’s enrichment capabilities and now unleashing havoc on the Ayatollahs he has poked China clearly in the eye.
Tariffs (good and less than good), limiting energy to fuel China’s fragile economy and weakening both Russia and China by damaging their vassals are strategic moves that will change the shape of global power in our time.
