    Soyboys! I love the term!

  • interventor

I well remember that poster, “Women need a man, like fish need a bicycle.” Turns out women need men more than they thought. We men kinda like the ladies as well. But, not enough to let them destroy our lives.

    • Caved1ver

Ironically, women know what it’s like to be a MAN like a fish knows how to ride a bicycle.

    • Deplorable B Woodman

Operative term in the next-to-last sentence; “ladies”. Which implies a behavior and culture, as well as biology.

  • Caved1ver

Femtards, keep denigrating the male of the species and see where it gets you- you know, the gender that discovered, invented, innovated, and developed everything that established civilization relatively independent of your gender? The gender that’s been “along for the ride” for the past 5K years or so?

    • John D. Egbert

      If I may be permitted to pick at one my pet peeves: Cavedlver, everything you wrote there is absolutely correct — EXCEPT — every use of “gender” is absolutely INcorrect. Gender is a term of grammar, of which, in English, there are three: masculine, feminine and neuter. Biologically speaking there are two sexes: male and female (although hair-splitters might try to add hermaphrodite and androgyne). And don’t even get me started on “who/that” and “he/their.” {Rant off.}

During the raj, the Brits ended the Hindu custom of suttee, much to the anger of many Hindi men. We men aren’t gonna be replacements for a variation of such a new custom.

    • eon

      The ending was not by the consent of Hindu holy men, either;

General Sir Charles James Napier, the Commander-in-Chief in India from 1859 to 1861 is often noted for a story involving Hindu priests complaining to him about the prohibition of sati by British authorities.

“Be it so. This burning of widows is your custom; prepare the funeral pile. But my nation has also a custom. When men burn women alive we hang them, and confiscate all their property. My carpenters shall therefore erect gibbets on which to hang all concerned when the widow is consumed. Let us all act according to our national customs.”

      Also quoted as;

“You say it is your custom to burn widows alive. We call that murder, and it is our custom to hang murderers. If you insist upon your custom, then by all means build your funeral pyre. We shall build our gallows next to it. And after you have followed your custom, we shall follow ours.”

Anyone advocating such “customs” on grounds of moral primacy should always be aware that somebody else might take exception to it.

And there’s a difference between claiming you have the “moral high ground” and somebody else having their artillery on the actual terrain feature.

  • The way I always liked to put it is simple “If women need men like fish need bicycles then fish without bicycles become extinct upon the second generation!”. ^_^

Mind you, the reverse is also true. ^_~

A considerable portion of the DBD male readership has a pressing need to see Skye without the unnecessary confines of clothing.. ; )

Cowards? Hardly. You can only push someone around for so long until their self respect takes them out for drinks and has a talk with them.

That’s when “you” may abruptly learn that “screw you” has two entirely different and generally mutually-exclusive meanings in English.

  • Grunt GI

Actually, Skye darling, men are not cowards, but entirely rational creatures.

WHAT is the advantage of being in a relationship with a modern American wymyn these days?
    I see very little.
    A. Most of them have no domestic skills and don’t give a shit that they don’t
    B. All they care about are their careers and academic pedigree
    C. FAR, FAR too many of them are on antidepressants. Which is kinda ironic since American women these days are better educated, have more disposable income, and have more “independence” than their male counterparts. YET they are still miserable.

SO, American feminists are finding that they can be replaced by VR porn and sexbots. Which sadly makes collateral damage of those few remaining good women as men will have nothing to do with them…you reap what you sow.

And my prediction is all this #METOO crap is going to set back male/female relationships of all kinds back to a virtual Victorian era where men will respectfully keep their distance and women will pine for the days when men gave a shit about them.

Here are the three rules of dating I tell young men of my acquaintance:
    1) Never stick it in anyone chick crazy than yourself
    2) Never screw when you’re drunk (unless you’re married, then tequila can be quite fun)
    3) Never let your pecker do your pickin’ <–(Ok, I got that one from my father…very wise man)

I fear Skye has done a cranial rectal extraction too late…

Oh, and I agree with Halley…although I think it goes for all the WOMEN of DBD…not WYMYN but WOMEN…big difference…

    • Old Codger

Ah, Grunt GI? You gotta be careful about rule #2 as in not getting her too drunk. If you do then you’re liable to hear the 4 worst words to hear when you’re ready to pop, “Is it in yet?” 😉

      • Grunt GI

        Very true.
My wife only gets tipsy happy take me drunk.
It’s always a damn good time.

    • Halley

Yes, and re MeatEw – was it 100% or 102% of these designated victim gals who voted for The Rapist and his Bimbo Eruption fixer? Is it 105% who loath Melania while placing their hopes and dreams on Stormy? MeatEw is so obviously fake, 99% of the time…

  • Old Codger

Doc Smith knew what the feminazis’ dream would look like if realized in one of the “Lensman” volumes (“Second Stage Lensman” IMS). He set it on a planet called “Lyrane” (sic?). It was truly a hellish place.

    • eon

Correct. Lyrane II, where the matriarchs were all “man-haters and mental killers”, in Kimball Kinnison’s words.

The male Lyranians were dwarves of limited IQ. The women kept them solely for reproductive purposes, then when they had enabled the pregnancy of eight or ten matriarchs, the last one calmly blasted the mind of the dwarf, and they disposed of the body and went about their business.

The Overlords of Delgon, warm-blooded reptilian beings that enjoyed torturing other sentients to death to feed on their life force, found Lyrane a pleasant home- that is, until the Patrol cleaned them out.

Of course, then they had to deal with the Eich outpost on Lyrane VIII, which was approximately like Titan environmentally.

Doc’s universe was a lot more detailed and complicated than Star Trek’s has ever been. And unlike the latter, he acknowledged that there are such things as “good and “evil’- and you couldn’t always tell which was which just by looking at a sentient species.

“Any sane, normal Earth woman would pass out cold if she met Worsel (30-foot long, reptilian Velantian Lensman and Kinnison’s best friend) in a dark alley at night. But the Velantians had more in common with Tellurians (earthmen) than these Lyranian women did, simply because like Tellurian society, Velantian society was based on the equal partnership of men and women.”

      Second Stage Lensman

NB; To Kinnison, a MAN was any male who lived up to the ideals of Civilization, Lensman or not, humanoid or not. And a WOMAN was defined in exactly the same way, whether human, Velantian, or any other species.

Needless to say, his eventual wife, Clarissa May MacDougall, was no shrinking violet herself. Being the one and only Earth woman ever to wear a Lens rather proved that.

Any series that starts out with two galaxies passing through each other is going to be a great ride; I loved these books. The Skylark series was pretty good also.

  • Delilah T

A few words here about what women HAVE done, but were brushed aside for it:
Rosalind Franklin discovered the double helix that comprises DNA structure.
Marie Sklodowska Curie AND her husband Pierre isolated the properties of radium and polonium.
Hedy Lamarr, a refugee from Nazi Europe, developed frequency hopping, which is a way of jumping around on radio frequencies in order to avoid a third party jamming your signal. Lamarr invented it in the 1940s for use as a secret wartime communication system that could keep the enemy from interfering with a ship’s torpedoes. She got a patent for it in August 1942, and then donated it to the U.S. military to help fight the Nazis.

Unfortunately, the feminazis do not want REAL women to get credit for these things, any more than they want REAL men running around loose. They are the kind that would repeal the 19th Amendment that gave women the vote. They are the most despicable things on the planet. If they want isolation, they should get it as quickly as possible, in a walled compound that separates them from the rest of us.

    Sorry, ranting again. Rant over.

    • Old Codger

Delilah, did you know that Hedy Lamar was a (IMS) graduate degree level electrical engineer? Also she had a devil of a time getting anybody to look at her designs? We men can not only be distracted by a pretty face, but can be stupidly biased against a beautiful woman having an IQ greater than 70. Lamar had it all – beauty, acting ability and brains!

      • GWB

But she was a right cold bastard when it came to putting that train line through.

  • WayneM

Skye is at an age where diminishing returns kick in… and she fails the dick stacking test (shout out to Terrance Popp) so the likelihood of her finding a loving stable relationship at this point is close to nil. She might as well start collecting cats.

    • John

There is still hope for her.
She’s still relatively young and has her sister and fellow travelers as role models. Granted, becoming conservative from Progressive roots is no easy task, but as Winston Churchill is said to have observed, “If you are not a Liberal when you are twenty you have no heart. If you are not a Conservative by the time you are fifty you have no brain.”
Or as others have put it, a conservative is a liberal mugged by reality.
My favorite example is Thomas Sowell, who started out as a Marxist economist and then saw the light when he had to get a job outside academia.

  • Spin Drift

The next shiny thing, that’s what I see the Feminazi of today looking for. My own special snowflake can’t for all her smarts (Eng 4.0) can’t realize that you have to stoop to conquer. Always looking over the next horizon when good is right in front of her. And by good I mean, intelligent, hardworking, family values, character, strength and backbone. Sure he doesn’t look like George Pitt or Brad Clooney but who the hell does. Just steady as a sunrise to greet your day with.

My Mom (God rest her soul and her plain speaking) said to my sisters that it was easy to keep a man, Belly full- Balls empty. As to following that sage advice, one is bitter and divorced the other never got married. Both proto-feminazi’s of gotta have a career first mentality and then find a man. Got cats instead.

No it’s too easy denigrate the man who refuses to queue up for a soul emptying character bashing and is forced to see at every turn the really pretty girls dating meat from the National Felons League (racist I know but my lying eyes are going to call a spade a spade) or pukes from Jersey Shore. So he retreats and goes overseas to find mate material that isn’t infected with the Feminazi virus. (Eastern Europe, Indonesia et al)

So keep it up girls and what you will have left is a house full of cats and wine to do your whining to.

  • MGTOW isn’t about men rejecting women so much as it’s rejecting the legal instutution which leaves men completely vulnerable to their wives’ caprice. (OK, in some cases it is about rejecting women but not for most of us.)

  • GG-N-PHX

Has the internet so warped my perceptions that I read Skye’s “need” for the bicycle as another way of saying she wanted to use the motion from riding as a means to an end for sexual release?

  • Kirk

Ah, slavery, any excuse will do.

So, men become gifted with a raw deal. They refuse tro enter into relationships.

Governments demand sperm donors register when donating… so later they can be sued for child support.

If large numbers rebel by refusing to be part of a relationship, what’s next, a draft?

    • John

Which brings to mind the newest complaint of the SJWs, those who complain of being INCEB, that is involuntarily celibate. These idiots are so committed to “from each according to his ability to each according to his need” that they think they are entitled to nooky from the distaff.
Lotsa Luck with getting _that_ from the cold fish.

Thank God I am old enough to not want Anything to do with these Twinkies and Twinkettes. My wife knows and does keep me well happy.
Interesting, I went back to part time work, as this company is having a hard time finding wide and varied skill levels in the younger sets. Us old farts learned and trained in many fields due to necessity that now is lacking in specialization.

Impulsive feelings have overtaken and overruled practical common sense and thought.

    • John

It seems to be a kind of societal disease. The farther people are from actually confronting the real world the less rational people become, and that distance is directly attributable to our prosperity. Money simply insulates people from the real world.
In the old days when wealth was tightly controlled by a family structure at least the damage was limited to the family. Now it is infecting a much wider population.

      • eon

Col. Jeff Cooper once observed (about 1985) that there was an entire generation coming up who had never faced hardship, never slept on the ground, never had to make a life or death decision, and who had never had to face any consequences for a mistake.

We call them “snowflakes”. They call themselves “Social Justice Warriors”.

Col. Cooper called them “lemmings”. Mainly due to their tendency to follow “Fearless Leaders” blindly.

I think he would define Skye as that one lemming in a million who stops at the edge of the water and thinks, “Uh, wait a minute, here, guys….”

        @John,

        I agree but with clarifications…

It is *other people’s* money (aka free shit) that has spread the disease of ineptitude and insulated them from its effects.

It is of course by design…but the debt must be repaid eventually, one way or the other. We are seeing the beginning of the end of that plan.

        Thank God.

  • JTPatriot

I’d be the man you want me to be, Skye, but you’d have to be the woman I want you to be. That’s the deal, take it or leave it. You don’t get to change me.

  • epilitimus

Not to be a party pooper (and at risk of pissing off the DBD ladies) but there is one other factor to this equation which is all too often overlooked, the parents (both fathers and mothers) that raised their sons to mythologize women as something they never were and could not possibly live up to, all the while training their daughters to be soul sucking man hating harpies all in the name of female empowerment and self esteem.

I don’t expect a woman to be able to swing a pick as well as me, frankly the whole amazon woman thing doesn’t do it for me, but she damn sure better bring something to the table that is worth the price of admission.

  • interventor

I don’t expect women to be the fabled shield maidens. However, if she can back me up with a .38, I’d be quite appreciative.

  • eclark1849

I take exception to the term “cowards”. It’s not cowardice to keep putting yourself into situations where you’re used, abused, and blamed and accused, then convicted without any evidence based on nothing but what she said you did. To keep doing that takes a massive amount of either arrogance or stupidity. Maybe both.

    • interventor

Or, submissive aka dependent personality. There are lots of types of crazy out there.

      • JTC

Hence, “cucks” and the more evocative and descriptive “soyboys”.

Crazy, sick, pathetic…and oh so sad for the survival of our Republic.

  • My statement on this is a simple four words: There Comes A Point…

  • Swampfox

MGTOW are not cowards. They’re fed up with being bled dry by manipulative women. It isn’t about fear of relationships; it’s about self-preservation.
