I hope, in honor of the late Neil Smith, it’s a .41 Mag.

Probably, but he’s a reloader, and in modern handguns with modern brass, you can load .45lc hotter while maintaining lower chamber pressure. And they ARE in Texas.

Too short for a .500 S&W. Too fat, relative to the fingers, for a .38 Spl. I’m gonna go with a .41 or .44, but only CM knows for sure.

      I think we can all agree that it’s not a .22Mag 😉
That’s a surprisingly effective round though, good for all sorts of varmints and you can fit lots in a pocket.

In the wayback machine there is an interesting couple of panels where Sam forgot to lock up a Ruger Super Redhawk in the gun library after a day at the range.

      .454 Casull IIRC.

From the perspective it looked more to be a .500 S&W Magnum. That’s a big-ass cartridge.

Old “joke” about Chicago; after a really hard-fought race, one candidate won with 150% of the vote against his opponents 135% of the vote.

Sort of like how obummer won Philadelphia with 107% of the registered voters and not a single one voted for his opponent ?

The last ‘election’ was similar, the dems never settle for ‘just enough’, they have to go overboard in the most ludicrous way possible and I’m afraid you’re going to see the same thing on Tuesday.
Republicans who currently poll at over 50% will mysteriously lose be huge margins, or even small ones but just enough not to trigger recounts.
Boarded up windows and observers removed from the counting areas, machines switching votes before your eyes, etc.
But maybe they did learn and the machines won’t switch the votes until after they’re all.
Stalin had it right “it’s not who votes but who counts the votes”
        Wednesday should be interesting.
In the unlikely occurance that the vote is legal and the predicted ‘red wave’ does break upon the shore and wash it clean, how much damage can be done between now and January ?
liebrals are nothing if not vindictive.

Seems to be a seven round cylinder in the revolver. Can’t be a .500, probably not a .44. From my very limited knowledge of S&W revolvers (guess), it’s prolly a .357 (guess again).

However, the cartridge Zed is holding certainly looks like a .44 Mag.

And yah know – a .44 just has Zed’s name all over it. I’m now betting it’s a six shot .44 Mag. I was wrong about my seven round assumption. (I blonded.)

    I’m with Charlie Foxtrot–6-shot .44 mag.

Maybe add headstamps to the case heads next time? If an occasion arises with Zed and 308, I suggest “LC 77 MATCH”. Civilian translation = Lake City, 1977, match grade brass/ammo.

The type of rounds Sam delivers from her mind and mouth are devastating to the no longer at all honorable opposition.
That is what the Democrats and others would be saying if they told the voters the truth.
The fact that San Fran nan and Senator Definitely not an Einstein specifically schooled a person that I know that the objective was not to tell the voters the truth, but only to tell the voters what was needed to get the voters to vote for the Democrats. This was after she sought them out during a break in a San Francisco seminar / training meeting for people invited that were meant to go far in the Democrat Party. She had sought Nancy and Diane out to question the instructions that they were given by the instructors s to how to win voters and elections. This was decades ago, and California and much of the nation’s evil progressed from that type of evil seed spreading. After Nancy and Diane reasserted that they that is what is needed because they need the votes in order to gain the power, that so they could then use the power as they saw fit.
We have tried to talk about the problems and solutions for people of our nation and have been shut down. There is no reason to stop talking. Pre Revolutionary War people in the colonies continued talking before, during, and after the events. ‘When in the curse of human events’ described and included many of the events that were earnestly attempted to be avoided. We still need to talk. We still need to watch the voting and attempt honesty. We still need to at least vote.
The talking and voting also will teach many the truth of matters, which is exactly the opposite of what Pelosi and politicians want to occur.
    Voting is inexpensive and easy.
    Freedom is not free.
