Yep. Biden’s battery is about broke. Barely enough charge to keep the mechanics moving, but not enough to keep the lights lit.

(alternative; Barely enough charge to make the mechanics move, …….)

  • Toxic Deplorable Racist SAH B Woodman

I don’t think even Elon could charge up the one remaining cell in Biden’s brain pan.

(that would be an awesome Halloween costume: Biden with two X large neck bolts. Slightly green skin tone is optional. The rest is easy street for costuming and acting)

  • The Basseteer

    “Jim Crow” Joe…

  • Ill-Educated Deplorable

If Biden wins they’ll probably set him in front of a TV that plays a constant loop of the Netflix movie “Cuties” while Camel-a does the dirty work of the left.

    • Punta Gorda

      Prone or supine?

      • MasterDiver

        Yes.

        Zar Belk!

    • Henry

Oh. I flashed on a vision of Kamala working on Biden while he watches “Cuties.”

“Baby, you can take off your shoes /
You can keep your mask on /
You can keep your mask on…”

      • TBeholder

Oh, that’s what his problem might be!
Biden is constantly sniffing those around, but with the mask on it clogs his nose. The result is chronic hypoxia, thus most of the time his brain is halfway to coma. This shows.

      • Halley

Ha! and what a crying shame Randy never walked away from the Left. Could’ve been the Mark Twain of American songwriting…

    • Mike-SMO

Odd {/S}, that they don’t mention that thgey are running a dead man for President. Will Camel-a even be allowed into the White House? Going to be a real circus.

Hey! They got away with it for Wilson. Didn’t work that well with Hindenburg.

      • MasterDiver

Wasn’t it Wilson’s WIFE who was running things while he was comatose? Is THAT who will actually run the country, Mrs. Joe?

        Zar Belk!

    • Old Codger

Only long enough to execute a 25th Amendment coup. Then he’ll be back at home where he belongs drawing pensions for Senator, VPOTUS and POTUS.

  • Henry, he’d have to keep the mask on, to keep the drool outta her hair….

  • Pete231

I think a baby pacifier and an XXXL butt plug are called for in this case…..

    • Punta Gorda

Inflatable… to keep up with the ever increasing bore.

  • Lyle

    Well that discussion devolved quickly. Saying anything serious almost seems futile at this point, but I’ll give it a go;

Biden is possibly a perfect politician. With no morals and very little mind of his own, he’ll be easily controlled. With the increasing quality of digital “deep fake” video technology, he could even be, quite literally, programmed to say anything in video form. Live public appearances could be kept to a minimum, and for those he could be pumped with drugs to make him appear sufficiently cogent for twenty minutes at a time. Come to think of it; that describes most of us too, to some extent.

Hmm. So maybe it’s only a matter of degree. It is one thing to look at someone else and think, “There, but for the grace of God, go I” and quite another to remove the beam from you eye and realize, “Oh dear God save us; that’s me too!”

    • Bill G

To re-purpose a Bob Seger lyric, “There I go, turn the page.”

      • JTC

Or as Pogo noted long ago…

    • OH Bridge Guy

for those he could be pumped with drugs to make him appear sufficiently cogent for twenty minutes at a time.

It’s just a little pin prick
      There’ll be no more “Aah”
But you may feel a little sick
      Can you stand up?
      I do believe it’s working
That’ll keep you going for the show
Come on, it’s time to go

    • Henry

“With the increasing quality of digital “deep fake” video technology,”

You know, you may be onto something here. Biden’s current incoherence is a long-con setup for any failures of the deep fake technology they will use to keep him “alive” for just a little over two years, so Kamala can have two and a half terms.

  • Bill G

SlowJo is just a more blatant than usual example of today’s leftist politician. With the batteries running down, he’s not putting as polished a front on it as their front-runner normally does. If he’s cheated into office, I have three questions.
    1. How long will they be able to prop him up, before total shutdown?
    2. Whose hands will be on the strings?
    3. When the inevitable happens, will the Blowjo be as biddable as they expect?

  • Halley

They can hide Biden, but at least the sinister intentions of the DNC/MSM can no longer be hidden. They are The Bad Guys, and everyone sees it plainly.

If everything Dims accuse PDT of are in fact crimes they have committed, are committing, or are plotting to commit themselves, what does the Whitmer Projection (“right-wing militia” anti-MAGA hit job pre-packaged for worldwide distribution even before it happened) tell us about what they are planning to have done before November 3?

  • Randy

Senate needs to get ACB confirmed ASAP before this kerfuffle of of an election wraps up!

  • eon

What I’ve learned about politicians both nationally and locally is this.

Republicans are good at saying they’ll do something but never actually doing it. “I’m in favor of term limits. I’m in favor of a balanced budget. I’m in favor of a strong military. I’m in favor of protecting your Second Amendment rights.”

The unspoken subtext is “But I’m not going to do anything about it, because it’s just too hard, and I won’t get invited to All The Right Cocktail Parties”.

Democrats are expert at swearing they’ll never do something and then doing it anyway. “We won’t take your guns.” “We won’t ban coal and oil.” “We won’t ban nuclear power.” “We won’t suck up to Islamists.” “We won’t hand WESPAC to Red China on a silver platter.”

The unspoken subtext there is, “You know we’ll do all of that because our vision of Utopia demands it. And what are you gonna do about it? You won’t break the law to stop us, and nothing less will do it.”

As for “Libertarians”, increasingly they are defined as “whoever came in second in the Democratic primary for whatever office they’re running for”. Ditto Independents, at least around here. They all run on the Pelosi Axiom; “You’ll have to elect me to find out what I’m going to do to you”.

Angelo Codevilla and Joel Kotkin are correct in saying that whatever party they claim to represent, all of the above are from the same social milieu. They went to the same schools, studied under the same professors, have the same beliefs, and think almost exactly alike. They think of themselves as an “enlightened elite'”, destined to rule by virtue of just being better than everyone else.

I might add that even here in rural SE OH, the “ruling class” sees themselves as having more in common with New York than Newark- OH or NJ.

Codevilla calls them “highly credentialed idiots”, and that’s about what they are.

Their hatred of Trump seems to stem mainly from their seeing him as a traitor to their class. Rich, well-connected, and telling them that their Perfect World is (gasp!) non-sustainable.

If he was really the crude “prairie populist” they paint him as, he probably wouldn’t worry them as much as he does.

So true. Ever notice that Bush 41, Clinton 42, Bush 43, and Obama 44 all attended either Harvard or Yale? These two miserable schools seem to put out the vast majority of the elite globalist technocrats who end up manipulating Americans’ lives for their own social utopian vision while also fulfilling their greed for power, money and political legacy.

I’ve thought for sometime now that if two neutron bombs were dropped over Cambridge Massachusetts and New Haven Connecticut that America, and perhaps the world, might be a freer place.

      • eon

I used to think that New Haven had to be saved due to Winchester. Nowadays I think the best thing that could happen to them would be an enhanced-radiation weapon to clean out the deadwood.

There is no reason for a $1,900 plain-Jane M1894. None at all.

By the same token, Hartford needs to explain the rationale for a $1,600 .357 Python. Not to mention a “Magnum Carry” calling itself a “King Cobra” and costing $1,100.

Mossberg could make the 94, and Taurus could make the other two, and none of them would cost more than $400. Guaranteed.

        • Mikey72

My two “real” Pythons are the best performers in my firearms portfolio. In the right market, they are $3000 guns. Until something changes, they stay in the vault. I bought a new Python to use as a “beater.” Pricey, but I’ve spent more money on less worthy causes.

          • Sam

Have had opportunities twice to dry fire real Pythons. Didn’t like them. Triggers on both stacked terribly.

So, if given a Python, and probably any other snake gun, it would go on the market immediately.

I’m basically not a collector, other than family heirlooms.

          • interventor

I picked up one of those real Pythons, years ago, in a Texas pawn shop. Best $400 I ever spent.

          • JTC

Interventor, that musta been one of the dumbasarock pawnbrokers Xavier used to write about.

True that through the 90’s plastic was fantastic and wheel guns were way out of favor. But a Python? A clean 6” model would bring 700-800 even back then. Where’s that pawn shop again? 🙂

        • JTC

          @eon,

Yes but both of those econocopycats have proven time and again for decades the truth and philosophy behind the header at the old dead (pawnbroker) blog…

“Price. Cost. Value. Not the same things.”

Which if one considers said truth and philosophy is not at all to say they are inferior…could there be a better beater for $199 than a PT-111 or a more functional saddle gun than a Mossie 30-30?

But going down the road to “need” and “why” leads to a slippery slope for gunnies, and the best answer is always “Because I can.”

For now. Because whether it’s a multi-k Colt’s or a Ring of Fire sub-c Jennings, the powers that want to at any and all cost run the world and you deny you the one and only means to prevent that denial. I sold a shit ton of both of them over the years and they are -equally- precious to them that may need them.

What would happen if there was No Pay involved for an Elected Official.
They had 3 healthy basic meals, a bed and bathing facilities.

Then, mostly wealthy persons would run. Pay’em a decent salalary, house’em in army style housing (Senators get field officer quarters), feed’em in a mess hall, and term limit the varmints. Require them to live and eat in the above while in DC. Finish the year on time and on budget and treat’em to a decent dinner with wine at a four diamond restaurant in DC.

    • Henry

“They think of themselves as an “enlightened elite’”, destined to rule by virtue of just being better than everyone else.”

Well, of course — because people who don’t think that way get more life satisfaction out of doing anything else than going into politics.

  • Unca Walt

Kamala never kissed a parrot. But she did kiss a cockatoo.

    • JTC

Is there such a thing as a cockaten bird?

How about a twattle? A one-note bird (memememe), but she likes fish so…

    • Pamela

Joe is an example of their “Green Ideals”.
Batteries can run down at ANY time.
Wind and solar cost big money, oil, electricity, rare earth minerals with slave labor to get them. Then they are very toxic when they are no longer useful.
And they are Not Dependable! They can stop producing at any time.

    • Henry

Joe produces at inconvenient times, making him eminently Dependable.

  • JTC

Yes, by all means put Elon in “charge” as it were…

Can you imagine what that crazy genius would do? Slow Joe no more…

  • Shield Wall

I had an old radio that I could fix by just smacking it a couple times when it would go all statickie. Just sayin in case someone finds it helpful…..

  • Halley

Allowing a corrupt, demented Spygate co-conspirator to win (= steal) the presidency is not something I can ever conceive of PDT ever doing, ever. Not even ever. It would be like saying nothing he’s accomplished has mattered, none of his kept promises have mattered. He outsmarted the powerful Clinton/MSM machine so bad in 2016 they’re literally still smarting from the blow, and I am more than confident that “outsmarted again!” will be on more than one pair of lips on November 4…

    • JTC

I know what will be on my lips on 11/4 (and the ensuing weeks)…

      “Please God Please!”

    • John

Chairman Mao, who had at the time primitive nuclear weapons at best an no delivery system, bragged that China would win any nuclear war by population alone.
It amazes me that people in the West find it unthinkable the Chicoms would deliberately develop a novel virus for the purpose of attacking the the entire world, starting with themselves for “plausible deniability” purposes and the reduction of their own over-aged unproductive population.
It wouldn’t surprise me in the least if in the final analysis it is found that the little monster started as two distinct strains, one intended to do the dirty work and the other far more benign to be spread among the Elite to inoculate the chosen.

    • steveb919

It has been known for along time that the Corona 19 Virus was man made in a Chinese laboratory. It is highly suspected but not proven beyond a doubt that it was deliberately set loose on the population to spread and bring down the worlds economy.

    • Halley

Actually, the first I read about the Kung Flu being man-made and manipulated with sinister intent was right here on this DBD forum, way back in March, I believe. A very, very well-informed group, this…

      • Henry

Not so much well-informed as very educated guessers.

I mean, bat soup. With a major virology lab right down the road. Pshaw!

  • Halley

In another 2020 Twilight Zone moment, Joseph Biden does not win the Nobel Peace Prize, and neither does Black Lives Matter nor the Deep State Coup, for that matter. Totally crazy! How did this happen???

    • Pamela

Hmm…Artificial Sweeteners, Vegan Fake Food Diets. Smoking Really Wicked Modified Dope, Dogs and Cats living in Sin.

      • JTC

        “Artificial sweeteners”

Now (unlike with firearms) it is time for the legitimate question, “Why?”

Why indeed. First job ages 18-25 was at a sugar mill, repairing/rebuilding the massive steam-fired equipment for six months of the year and operating the rail delivery system (largest private railroad in the southeast) and the giant steam turbine driven grinding machines to produce cane sugar.

US Sugar is the largest producer/refiner of pure cane sugar in the US, one of the largest most loyal employers in the state, and a very effective steward of the land and water management (second biggest funder after the government of the Everglades Restoration Project).

But back to the question of why. And forget the BS health claims, as Pamela implies the dangers of the chemically derived imitations are huge and not even fully known so…why?

Next they’ll be marketing an imitation honey and telling us the bees just don’t know what they’re doing anymore in producing the perfect food.

As to that good sweet pure cane sugar? Well it’s been a long time but most of you guys are old and probably consumed some of my personally made near-perfect product, so…

        You’re Welcome!

        • Pamela

Artificial Sweeteners are a bugaboo for me. I noticed various health issues in family and friends who switched over to not get fat or because sugar was BAD. I’m of a mind that the Anti YoYos have had their minds altered from bad nutrition and ingesting mind altering junk. It was an answer to the “How did this happen question?”

          • JTC

Yes but the better and more informative answer (and scary if you really want to know), is again…“why?”

          • John M.

What’s making us fat? I suggest Hugh-Fructose Corn Syrup not Cane Sugar. Hardly anything is sweetened with cane sugar any more, it’s all HFCS – read the label!

Here’s those darned corn producers again, poisoning our cars with Ethanol, and us with HFCS… I wish I had that strong a lobby!
