Up here a liebral switched to Conservative and was rewarded with a senior post the same day…if I were trying to get an inside line on my opposition, an even better one than the stenographer taking the notes in Cabinet and caucus meetings, I’d do it just like that…most politicians could sleep on a corkscrew but they never seem to realize that other people could do to them what they do to other people…they’re so self-confident they’ve brainwashed themselves to believe that they can influence anyone to do only what they want them to…look at what;s going on in Georgia and NYC with the ‘prosecutors’ and ‘judges’ finding out the hard way that what they did can’t stay hidden forever,

Considering a real conservative, Ronald Reagan was once a Democrat too. He said that he didn’t leave the party; the party left him.
Compare to Mikey Bloomberg, who “became” a Republican for one election, because it made it easier for him to win THAT election.
