Your “basic artwork” is better than some folks’ best efforts, cuz. Don’t sweat it; I can’t draw a straight line with a ruler (I mean that literally, unfortunately), but I like to joke that I paint with words. All said, I can’t begin to do what you do…or even come close. I can translate it to prose, but hey. “A picture is worth a thousand…” and all that.

I meant to add: the movie reference reminded me – if memory serves instead of misleading – that the character riding the bomb down was played by Slim Pickens. Which is an incredibly apt pun on this election’s playing field. If it weren’t for Trump, it would be “No pickin’s”.

And for you folks tempted to vote for Greg Anderson, Johnson, whatever his name is, remember you would be voting for ANOTHER POLITICIAN. There is a “Slim” chance Trump will be as good as his word. With a politician, you know it will be business (anal violation) as usual.

A “conservative” politician _might_ intend to do what is right, but as we’ve seen with most of the Tea Party, they get co-opted or run over soon after taking office. You might as well vote for Ryan, as that is most likely what you would end up with.

I’ll take a chance on a pragmatic non-conservative businessman over a lying RINO any day of the week.

Wishing your dad a safe surgery and quick full recovery.

I am guessing you rapidly queued up a number of strips before heading off to deal with this. If it ends up taking longer than expected and you run out, just make an announcement. Meanwhile, the message is a huge part of the value here, and a slight dimunition of the artwork won’t wreck that.

Mr. Muir, if I might offer a suggestion in this time of prioritizing to limit artistic time spent while in no way diminishing impact, a method that I have told you is near and dear to me…

    SILHOUETTES!

But depending on the demands on your time for more important things, some automatic reruns of say, about this time of year 2008 would be even less time consuming while still topical and impactful.

And if even that is too distracting, as I said before brother, HIATUS! And not a soul here would blame you or abandon you…quite the contrary I’m sure. Do what you gotta do.
